Best of luck to everyone who made the grid for the 500. 3 weeks and 350~ laps later I could not get it together on how these cars across the pond work, I guess it's just not for me. Far too hard wired still as a European for anything turning just left :' )
I pondered a second attempt but I felt it would be disrespectful to put a car that won the Indy 500 near the back rows and ultimately probably retire. Next year I'll see if I'll give it some more gumption and make the field by true merits.
Also very glad the league got some mainstream attention from Jake! Well done guys on another smooth running of this ISO tradition.

Want to say thanks for organising that Qualifying session guys. Broadcast was top notch so guys in the booth, thank you!
I’ll be the first to admit I’m not the best at ovals - but for this I’ve practiced a hell of a lot and worked not on speed but on consistency and a 9th place in Q… I’ll take that! Richard.C - thank you for the advice and guidance. Helped me hugely here! Again, thank you!

Close call, but still a fair effort, if you consider I wasn't intending to apply for a car in the firt place, sitting at my mom's place with no opportunity to sort out the car, with a slim hope to probably snatch a car when someone drops out. but that '87 March was to tempting to let it just pass up. So something like 3 days of preparation, thankfully I had a setup from last year (I think Vadim handed me that), general balance was nice and just needed a few adjustments to my liking, but the car was much slower than anticipated, and then, on the server, it didn't feel just as stable like testing offline, and I was about 3/10s off from what I could do before.
But I'm on the grid, and what comes next is more important: finally finishing a 500-miler, after all!
Though, not that much time this week for preparation, but should do it hopefully...

Could've started in the top 10 but the last lap was bad. Should've waved the attempt off but it's ok, it's a long race. Car feels good throughout a stint.

Thank you Jason, Juha, Tim and all involved in organising such a thrilling and high standard event!
I'm happy to have qualified, as my two reasons of fear before my turn were: crashing, especially if first to crash ahaha, and not being fast enough to be in. During practice I struggled a lot to complete 4 laps, where I either spun in the initial laps when the car is edgy or in the later ones when it is becoming understeery. Luckily I found out the good rear ARB setting for each lap. Still, my first lap was so cautious that the difference between 1st and 4th were almost 1s.
