Finally fixed the pedals! Bought a spring set from thrustmasters website for the T3PM pedals, and was going to use them, since it had 2 different stiffnes.. but even the lesser stiff spring was waaay too much... i used the fix i used for the clutch and the softest of the new springs as the new clutch spring:

Or not sorted. Reinstalled the mod and rejoined, but now I get weird graphical glitches. Have to sit this one out. Thanks for waiting though!

Not the home Grand Prix I had hoped for.
If I’m being honest that was a complete miss communication between back markers and leaders with, in my opinion, everyone sharing some part of the blame (apart from a zakespeed who let us through before the final turn) Maybe us leaders could have been a tad more cautious in such a situation, but I also feel blue flags were left way to late being actioned and could have been avoided.
In the heat of the moment these things can happen. Sorry for my part in that.

I'll take that for my first ISO and home race, P9 from P21 on the grid! Was having to do mega fuel saving for the last 5 laps but the little Tyrrell made it! Apologies to Oscar on the cooldown lap, I had the AI takeover so it just drove into your pod! Must look into how to turn that off

Dear Lord, what an abysmal performance! The quicker I forget about it, the better...
...well, all begins with the chance of getting a ride in the Williams, one of the few cars I've been eyeballing the whole season. And about a week of preparation, should work. Tough week at work, Le Mans and Brands Hatch? Maybe one item to much in the equation, but I'll figure it out somehow. The Williams is notably in a different league than the other rides I try to avoid. Oodles of power and downforce, and superbly nimble. Took me almost four days to sort out the basic geometry settings so the car wouldn't always spin a wheel once the turbos kick in. Now I was in for sorting out the balance, but one of the reasons I don't like Brands Hatch is the fact its extremely difficult not to burn off the left front tire. The final idea came somewhere in the last hour of Le Mans, and I tried that before qualifying and it felt pretty neat. Probably I had a bit too much downforce, as I had some troubles making it past some other cars on the straights.
Anyways, qualifying came, I had built up something yesterday that was quite nice. But in my first run, I had a lame engine. Seriously, what a wasted effort. The car topped short of 280 and didn't have enough ponies to make the qualifyers spin... 1:16.5 In my second run, I had a bad timing leaving the pits and couldn't really stretch my legs. 1:15.3, not much better. Third attempt, again a bad timing leaving the pits, but at least, I got a 1:12.5, but I felt I went to slow into my timed lap, with my tires to cold. In my final attempt, I was a bit more aggressive in the last sector before starting my flying lap, and that immediately gave me a huge chunk of time, about ... 2 seconds in the first sector, but then, using an alternative setup, the car got sideways accelerating out of Surtees, and that was it. Well, I squeezed out a 1:09.5 yesterday with some extra potential, but not today. 17th, then
In the warmup-session, I managed to place around 10th place, and the car felt really neat, also tire wear seemed fine. When finally the grid formed up, I was a bit nervous, because one of the reasons, I don't like Brands Hatch, is the elevation of the start-/finish straight. And it came as expected, I could avoid a jump start, I got a good timing releasing the brakes and upon the first grab of the clutch, it was a potentially good start, but then, I released the clutch to fast, which always happens to me if I have to hold the car, and down the grid I went. I was lucky not to be hit by someone else, but I went straight down from 17 to 23. Thanks for nuffin...
And that gang at the rear of the grid had their own business to mind, it took me quite a while until I could pass that group, and once I did and steamed ahead, I saw a yellow flag exiting Hawthorn. There was Juha limping back to the pits without a rear wing, I saw him in time but with all that blind corners and the huge speed differential, I almost ran into his back, trying to figure out where he was actually going and as I probably wasn't in the right spot, the car handled a bit heavy-handed. There went a car I just passed, and it took me a few more turns until I finally passed Juha. Not his fault, that track is so awfully narrow, one wrong move, once in the wrong spot, and you're doomed. Well, I went back to my chase and soon had that lost position back, and also I could slowly close the gap to the cars in front of me, but then, I had a spin at Surtees, when I tested a bit the limit (depending on the fuel load, Surtees would go in 2nd or 3rd). No position lost, but another 10 seconds, and soon thereafter, I was a lap down to Jules. Hm, a bit early...
...slowly, I moved ahead, 12th position, but at 1/3 of the race done, something blue was suddenly in my way down Clearways, which I could just avoid, but that one massively broke the rhythm I had just build up, and that took me quite a few laps to regain my confidence and my feeling for the car, losing again more than I had made up before to the competitors ahead of me. A few more cars lapped me, but I was surprised to see the podium runners weren't all that horribly much faster than my speed. Judging the distances, once I was doing my thing, I could close up to at least 8th position, so the potential was there, and I was barely burning more than 2.5 litres per lap, so actually pretty well on the fuel chart. But then, slowly considering when exactly to make my pit stop, I lapped another car through Pilgrims', but changing lanes, I got a hair to much to the left, had two wheels on the grass and couldn't avoid running into the barriers in Hawthorn. I could probably have limped back to the pits, but I decided it wasn't worth the effort, I was just frustrated.
Brands Hatch is fun for rubbing door handles in tin tops, but its basically a jazzed-up go-kart track, which is way to narrow and completely inadequate for high-downforce cars with high power-to-weight ratios, I was actually expecting something like that to happen. If there's another chance, I'd like to give the Williams another spin to further explore its huge potential, but then at a proper racetrack.

Terribly sorry Bruno for that contact. Didn't expect to be let by at that spot and was sitting behind to go by after Dingle Dell, sadly I didn't leave myself enough room to avoid contact.
Other than that, a race that proved the setup was golden but sadly not be tonight.

Pretty gutted. I was happy with 2nd on the grid here, a track that I don't like at all. But it was good fun in the Lotus at least, because it was absolutely hooked up here. I took it very easy from the start until the engine expired, which I was extremely easy on. There was one little misshift, but I don't think that killed the engine, as I've had races where I won with much more engine abuse. Would've been the 2nd easiest possible win this year, besides Jacarepagua. Funny how the engine decides to quit on these easy races. Happy with the race result though as it is a non-race for the championship. Thanks for the broadcast and of course, congrats to Oscar on his first win, John for 2nd, and Coxon a great 3rd. See you in Hockenheim...another track I hate!

A very emotional win. Had a good feeling already a week before the race. Felt overall quite confident with both setup and track, and clearly everything went my way this time. Cheers to my brother and team mate and congrats to 2nd, and to all other drivers. A really competitive series! As always a big credit to the modders and the professional broadcasting crew. This is the real deal in simracing 🏁
Lastly but not least a special thanks to my dad for the help in creating a better gear lever mount for my rig

That could and should have been a Ferrari win. Jonatan made a great setup, the car felt like the quickest thing out there and we both ended up nowhere.
Early in the race I tried to pass Cezariusz. I got by on the back straight, saw him in the mirror, looked right, couldn’t see him there, turned in and there he was. Two laps gone for repairs and unfortunately he was out.
Thankfully my car could be fixed and I set off trying to salvage a point or two. I unlapped myself and got back into the top 10. Helped by retirements I then found myself in seventh with surplus fuel. Gabriele then slowed down and on the last lap I snatched the final point off him.
Congratulations to the Thim brothers and Richard on the podium. We’ll try to do better at Hockenheim, which should be a great track for our Ferraris.

Bitter sweat.
Yes. I have part blame in that incident. The sudden drop off speed from the backmarker midcorner caught me by suprise. My sry to Bruno, Brian and especially Grant ruining that great pace of yours.
On the flip side, it was a dream result. First pole and a first one and two. So I'm a bit torn in the way that came about. My congrats to bro for a terrific drive. Talk about ending it on a high. 'You where suppose to break a leg?'
I'm guessing that's your own interpretation.

I Qualified 9th not bad but I really should have gone quicker. While driving the warm-up lap I noticed that I was having to turn my wheel about twice as much as before to get around the corners, I think that the resets had somehow lost its calibration. At the start my car went sideways (not sure if that was due to the wheel calibration) but I set off a few places down and after a steady lap or two I was down a few more places. Getting around the hairpin was very difficult with the wheel calibration and while racing a Williams on the exit of the hairpin the car went sideways into the Williams (sorry) causing me damage and a pitstop for repairs, I don't know if the Williams had to stop. After that it was drive as hard as possible to the finish in case any points were available, a few small battles along the way and offs due to the wheel, Owen fighting a bit too hard with the Tyrrell nearly lead to a few big crashes, but my wheel was the cause of a crash into the barriers and race over. Congratulations to Oscar Thim 1st, John Thim 2nd and Richard Coxon 3rd. Thanks for the broadcast I watched it on my TV and it looked very good . The track looked great.

I didn't have good physical conditions for this race, I had a bad flu and my head was heavy and I was reluctant to participate after having a bad qualy. My intention was to get the engine to resist and bring the car to the finish taking as few laps as possible. Aggressiveness was on the rise in that race and I believe that many were lost due to this excess. Congratulations to the Oscars on your first win, it was deserved. Congratulations to the broadcast team for another excellent job.

To be honest I knew I was being a tad aggressive but most of it was me balancing fuel consumption and judging the boost cutting in with the short shifting was making me abit slidy off the bends haha

A tough race that i knew would have a high attrition rate due to errors of others. Decided to just take it easy and see what happened as i knew the Benetton didn't have the pace of the cars around me. Had a fun battle with Ray, hope i wasn't too annoying . Decided to pit early (Lap 35) and then push to see if i could undercut some of the guys in front. After the stops i was about a second behind John and tried to attack but he had too much for me even in his damaged car. Managed to get Ray after the pitstops thanks to my undercut, was expecting round 2 but unfortunately his engine died. After that i decided to back way off and save fuel and the engine. I had used too much early on when battling with Ray early in the race and wanted the engine to make it hope. Really pleased to be back on the podium this season, especially at my home GP and at a track i usually struggle. i hope it isn't my last one. Well done to Oscar on his first win and John on second. Congrats to all finishers too, that was a tough race. Thanks for the broadcast too, a joy to watch.

Raced on the outdated BT54 for this time.. a car that was neither one of the best in 1985... Qualified P12 , more or less where i expected to be, 0.2s off my PB .. not so bad
Started well and gained P9 on the first lap After get throu a collision at Hawtorns set to P7 with Anders just behind me. Had a misconcentration on lap12 at Surteees seeing Jereb off the track.. slipped down to P10 Pitted on lap 38 for Softs and rejoined track in P9. Started to battle with Giovanni but went a bit wide at Surtees under braking, trying to lap a Minardi on lap 43 (sorry for slight touch). Rejoined Giovanni and last 30 laps we were glued to each other.. He was a bit faster on straight meanwhile i was on the left hender corners. We found themselves respectively P5 & P6 on last 10 laps!
Unfortunately we found a slow Arrows on our path and we collided slightly, but enough to cause a puncture on my Front Left , so i HAD to pit. Tought that 45 seconds would be enough to keep up my P6 but Juha was 4-5 seconds faster and couldn't handle him last 2 laps.
Congrats to Thim Bros to Coxon and to everyone who finished in the points
See you in Hockenheim. The story will be really different

Well, preparation for the race was not ideal, i watched the 24 Hours with friends till 5 AM and a big and long tipical italian lunch on sunday, combine with the fact that i didn't touch the wheel for a week. So Qualy was like a frozen shower, far away from my personal best and i got problems at every attempt, so started 16th. I had a very good start, 3 cars passed before the start line and i was 11th at the end of lap 1, not bad at all i thought. The first half of the race was not so impressive, the car was burning more fuel than expected to keep the pace of the guys ahead and in general too much understeer. I was basically alone. Then the gap to Gabriele diminished from 20 to 5 seconds and was encouracing to see that we were basically on the same pace. As the gap was oscillating between 3 and 5 seconds i decided to pit a bit early from what planned, as a long train of lapped cars was ahead, tring to undercut Gabriele.
New set of medium, the car was much better and when Gabriele pitted i was ahead in 8th. But this was only the beginning, i had to resist to Gabriele assaults for nearly half race and at the same time i had to cope with lapped cars and being lapped too, and the fuel, my God was so overwhelming.
I had a couple of hairy moments, one time i put two wheels on the grass before Hawthorn, a lapped Minardi kept me behind his clutch for nearly 2 laps and then rear ended a poor Ferrari in front of me and Gabriele, a little misunderstanding with a lapped Arrows at Druids... But the car was good and the time spent to setup the car with an optimal traction at Surtees exit , really paid back and i was able to keep Gabriele behind. He fought like a lion,on a couple of occasions i was nearly loosing the position but was clean and so good.
Fifth again and two precious points for the Tyrrel ( speaking of, ehm... Juha you gave my literally sweaty points to Kayo, I WANT MY POINTS BACK ahahah ).
Congratulations to Thim brothers for the amazing one/two and especially to Oscar for his first win, and to Richard for third place.
Broadcast as usual, top class.
