I realise I'm a bit late for that request, but an extra cone or two before the first chicane would probably help with safe racing.

No brake markers for the chicanes , that's gonna be fun.

No brake markers for the chicanes , that's gonna be fun. I'm more worried about manually controlling not hitting the redline so the car can finish, to be honest

No brake markers for the chicanes , that's gonna be fun. There are cones in groups of 3, 2 and 1 on the right side.

Kind of difficult to see them when approaching at 180mph in a group of cars.

That's why I asked for an extra cone, because as soon as I make out the first cone, I gotta brake hard to make the chicane. Could lead to disastreous situations in packed racing, I'm afraid. Backstraight is somewhat easier.

Pervasive spiking throttle on my pedals means late withdrawal. Sorry guys but racing with 85% throttle at Avus is no bueno

I enjoyed my race. Had some good fights. I simply just hit a chicane trying to outbrake the much faster Gabriel Sterr. The whole front of my car was dented anyway from someone sending it and nearly taking out the field T1 so I just decided to go full throttle, if the engine goes it goes. The place feels like driving to work, and it gives me tunnel vision from the monotony Anyway, another great championship under the belt by ISO. Onward!

8th place, nothing gained, nothing lost. Or maybe...?
...honestly, I don't like german makeshift race tracks, but putting these tire chicanes into this oddity of a racetrack is the icing on the cake of nonsense. Seriously, who ever thought that mess up should be put up against the wall! Expect big accidents in 3 ... 2 ... 1.
Anyways, at some point, I found a semi-safe way around these obstacles, but that took me a few cars - no wonder you gotta wait two months until you get an appointment at a car body shop these days! And I had a good run in Q, getting the car into the 1:17s, a second faster than my previous best, and there was some more potential. Probably not for 7th, but I already had 15/100, before I clipped one of the tire barriers on the backstretch. Oh, well, 8th, a lot better than the whole season.
My start was even better, banged some fenders with someone, but else, clean - and from 8th to 5th! I could maintain that for a few laps, but in the end, I was eaten up. Then, one after another got by me from my drag, but I couldn't really defend myself. Matthew gave me a good fright, because after he passed me, his entrance into the backstraight chicane didn't look so well, and indeed, he didn't manage get by the final portion and went into the air, and somehow I could still sneak underneath him, phew! Lap 8 or 9, I had a spin in the first turn and had to let by three cars, but I figured they'd get me anyways. 10th. Richard quit. 9th. John (I think) had a mishap and I was back in 8th. John 5 seconds behind me, should in therory work out, Juha was either in engine safe mode, or it had no longer all its horses, so I could make up some time to him, Then, Ricardo had to quit, and a yellow flag was out. I was stuck behind a lapped car and I couldn't really see the cause of the yellow - until John blasted past me and Angel May. As soon as the yellow was lifted, I went past Angel and tried to fetch John, but he was to fast. So I finished in 8th.
Good result? Bad result? Bit of bad luck, I took a good piece of performance and competitiveness out of the car when I decided to go with wing setting 2, in an attempt to lower my revs. I had a test yesterday and my engine blew after 11 laps, and I wasn't even drafting, so that one gave me some serious concerns about engine life. In the end, I was a bit surprised there weren't more engine failures, but my decision cost me about 7 to 8 kph down the straights and 2,5". But then, I was able to finish the race (and probably helped me through the chicanes), and unlike Imola, where others refused to properly finish their races, it was a result of my own performance. Well, let's wrap up the Procars. was a bit of a frustrating season with a car that for quite a time I just couldn't get under control. A few updates later, it still isn't my favourite, but at least managable. Let's see how the WEC will work out.

Juha was either in engine safe mode, or it had no longer all its horses, so I could make up some time to him.
I was saving after having blown a few engines earlier in the season, but judging from the difference between me and the winner, it was far too much!

My race didn't go the way it was planned, but these things sometimes happen. I believe this to have been my last race here at ISO for a while, since I'm moving to Germany to study, and it is quite complicated to transport the sim... Thank you very much to everyone for a great season in Procar this year, it has been a lot of fun! And congratulations to CC for the championship win!! And also thank you to all for this years of racing, it has been an awesome experience. See you guys around!

What an event this was for me, full of ups and downs! Started with a great qualy session, setting a 15.8 lap, faster than my 16.1 in practice sessions. P3 on the grid, and all seemed to point to a great race and end result. Here I have to apologize to everyone for the hectic start, as I failed to get the car going. Dropped from P3 to P22. From dead last I focused on finding my pace and to recover as many positions as I could. A few cars in front had accidents, but many I had to find a way to overtake. By lap 9 I was in the top 10 (I guess P8 or P9), with P4 around 9 seconds ahead. I kept a good pace, made the right calls to overtake and found myself in P5, three laps to go, just 2 seconds behind Gabriel. Considering our pace, I was confident that I would pass him before the end, but a backmarker popped up between us in the first chicane and I lost almost 3 seconds. After passing the backmarker I pushed again to get closer and on the penultimate lap I lost it all. Clipped slightly the brack straight chicane and it was all over! This gave me a bit to think about the mental side of racing and what I should improve on... All in all, I had a great time. About the series, I have no complaint about the Procar M1. A bit difficult to drive? Yes, but not undriveable. Very rewarding when driven properly and aware of its limitations. I rather drive cars with more power than what they can handle than cars that seem to drive on rails. Congratulations, and a big word of appreciation, to the organizers of this series! I should apply to enter the WEC 1984, as I prefer endurance racing than sprint racing. See you soon! Cheers!

Aware of my limitations and lack of intimacy with the car, as I only competed in 2 stages. I was hoping to run an error-free race and save the engine, as I've seen several reports of engines breaking down. I made a good start, getting rid of the accidents and saving the set for the final laps. I didn't want to run out of tires and I kept a consistent pace and without mistakes throughout the race, I only had a small escape at the exit of the first corner and a good dispute with David Saber, but aware of my limitations, I decided to do the trivia, without to force in braking and gymkhanas. Congratulations to CC for the brilliant performance and to Jonatan for the usual good transmission of the race. In time, I hate AVUS, which for me is the most boring track there is.

Just want to say thank you again to Juha and Richard for this series. For me the physics and mod itself is just perfect. The fact this mod doesn’t hold anyone’s hand and understanding the car is half the appeal. Jonatan.. thank you for the broadcasts - top notch. CC - awesome job on them results

I kept a good pace, made the right calls to overtake and found myself in P5, three laps to go, just 2 seconds behind Gabriel. Considering our pace, I was confident that I would pass him before the end You definitely would have! Be assured I was throwing caution into the wind on that lap, taking lots of speed through the same chicane and making it past the tire barrier by the skin of my n*ts
Since some people have commented about the car physics: I love them precisely because I did not understand them immediately. In the beginning I had the mindset of driving a race-prepared street car whereas the M1 is actually a race car that happens to have a tin top and a street version as an afterthought (source: Jason Cammisa). After I spent the time to understand the car became lovely to drive and I like the fact that a piece of real world information can translate into finding the right mindset to approach a car in a sim.
