As the season ends, any chance I could make a once-in-a-lifetime experience and be Ayrton Senna, driving the #12? Gotta admit, haven't touched AMS1 since I wrecked my 956 at Monza like an amateur
Yes you can have the #12

My Ferrari is free for today. I don't feel well and I don't want to interfere with other people's races knowing I won't be able to complete the full distance myself.

Thank you very much! I am worried though, as unlike Senna, I am driving like a grandma right now and seem to be holding up cars

Sorry all, my PC froze after giving intermittent issues and I had to reboot, now it won't start Windows. Gutted as I was happy to be back in the booth If I can solve it I will jump back into the broadcast.

Blown engine. One of those random ones as temp and revs were well under control.
Guess Mansell isn't meant to finish that race 😂
Thanks to all for the season, congratulations again to Jules for the championship. You drove very well. Sorry about your disco, didn't say you had left until after the race had started.

Well, a typical AGS/Motori-Moderni race.
Qualified P18. Expected nothing more. Start was ok, made up some positions in lap one. In lap two I noticed the engine was already overheating, at very moderate boost setting. So started to lift and coast and got passed by car after car. The enigne was still overheating, so I coasted some more. On the plus side, I saved a lot of fuel. But what is fuel good for if the engine starts burning when you just think the word 'throttle'? It continued that way until my pit stop in lap 38. Lap 38 for me, that is. I had already been lapped several times, lost count.
A few laps after the pit stop I was slightly distracted by a car lapping me and missed my usual point to lift off before the first tight right hander. Tried to compensate with the brakes but they didn't work because they were cold as ice. No wonder, I hadn't used them for the last 40 laps. Crashed into the wall, lost the front wing and what not. After a 137 seconds pit stop the car still behaved strangely. Guess someone in this incompetent team missed something or just wasn't in the mood to go get a spare part.
Thought I'd go for at least one fast lap without lift and coast now. Unsurprisingly, the engine lost power halfway into that lap, then failed completely a lap later.
Wondering how Motori Moderni stayed in business for another five years. No more business with me, that's for sure.

Well, that was a race I knew I wouldn't finish, as I knew that temperatures would be very high and could not be kept under control by shortshifting and stuff. At least I made it 59 laps and up to 6th, before the engine would go kaboom, and I can't drop down under 7th, but its always a letdown. Generally, i had probably put up too much wings, and I should reconsider testing the car at 40% fuel, as it was quite a handful at full tank, and running on soft/supersoft threw the balance off in the first half. The longer the race went, the better the car came into its balance, and even trying juggling with fuel and engine temps, the car got better and faster. But yeah, it was not to be.

Jheez I’m so happy with that! I don’t even quite know how it all happened but from 13th on the grid I did not expect a win! I just spent 50 laps bricking it on lowest boost thinking my engine is not going to last after Richard’s engine went! 2 years ago in 86 me and dad retired after contact with each other here, and although Dad just missed out on second by 2 laps, I feel that was still a bit of redemption! Finally my Brabham lasted!!! Thanks Jason and Ryan! Was good to see you back Alberto Thanks all

My first point here. At last! Well kinda 😂
With my greatly admired BMW engine and this gold-ish Arrows that I also like so much. This year was great for me here at ISO, racing all cars that I love: Williams, Benetton, and a permanent seat in an Arrows. I couldn’t have wrapped up better.
First time racing with an H shifter in an official race. TH8A was not well-fixed though, which increased my mis-shifts. Geared Reverse twice trying a 6th, luckily I felt it and kept my foot on the clutch both times. But before that I’ve spent a couple of hours practicing with the shifter, and was able to qualify 19th. Which became 22nd after changing to the correct car 30 seconds before the Race procedures. Dumb mistake of mine only noticed two minutes before the start, by the other Arrows driver. Never spoke to me before, never answered my messages or responded to my setup deliveries, but saved my race today from being DQed. So I’m thankful to Chacon for that. Just wish we had had a team relationship before.
Starting last was probably the best thing for me, I could avoid hazards in the beginning. B and C tyres to decide later about pit stops, driving slow trying not to boil my engine. The strategy worked. I was last for most of the race, but after so many DNFs they rendered me a 6th place! Then the BMW gave up the ghost.
Some scary moments need to be mentioned. I was pushed twice by the other Arrows driver 5 laps behind me when I was lapping him, first towards a McLaren lapping us both, second out of the road before the first right-hander. I was able to use the escape area to maneuver and come back safely. Then in lap 40-something I made a mistake and hit the wall… no front wing, time for pits! All softs-C and back to more workout.
It was a great evening. Protests will be delivered, but I’m happy with my race today. Now it’s time to enjoy the end of the year and try a contract for 1991 when the moment comes!
This humble and important sixth place is dedicated to my wife, who supported me today so I could race.
And to Mike Olson, who is always an inspiration for me, being able to do what he does when other people would call it “limitations”. Racing with mouse and keyboard, no arms or legs, great skills, fighting to live every single day, struggling with the system and making a living out of all the obstacles he needs to face.
Congratulations to Grant Riddall for the victory, and to Jason for another superb and professional broadcast. I’ll watch it this week but watched the final laps.
Merry Xmas and Happy 2024 everyone 🙏🏻

I would like to thank all the ISO team for delivering such a wonderful season, i had lots of fun even in the modest Tyrrel. About the race, after a standard qualy run in 11th i had one of the worst if not the worst start of a race of the year. Lost maybe 6 or 7 positions, for the first couple of laps i was stuck in the low field and i struggled to pass some cars, my car was feeling very strange. After a while i found my rithm, i managed to climb to 10th and catch the Benettons battling fot 9th and 8th, we had a long battle that lasted i think 20 laps and i could stay ahead of Tim keeeping in sight Dave that was improving lap after lap.
However temps were a bit off and tyres badly worn so i stopped at lap 36, my pitstop was very bad, 16 seconds and i had to do the outlap on the lowest boost setting to decrease engine temps. Dave's stop was a lot quicker and the gap increased from 5 seconds to more than 15, i tried for a while to keep his pace but i couldn't do nothing so i settled down and decided to keep my engine alive. When the retirements fest began i climbed to 4th, i was relatively safe, i had only to watch for Cezarius who was a lap down. When Ray retired i climbed to 3rd but the engine broke at the last lap and so i was 4th again. Very happy for the result, i was so close to the podium!

First of all, I want to apologize to Fernando Porteiro: - Sorry for not replying to your messages and not using your configuration in the other race (I had my configuration). I didn't know you and I didn't know about your potential, I didn't see you on the server during the week's practices, so I thought my configuration would be safer for me. I also want to apologize for the incidents on the track and I have a reasonable excuse for that. I replaced my problematic 3TPA pedals with a new T-LCM that I used for the first time this weekend. I entered this race without any practice with the Arrows, something I had never done before, as I dedicated myself to an event organized by another group of unleagued drivers which was the 1000Km of Brianza with the 1967 WEC cars. In this 5-hour running event that I did "solo" and obtained 8th place overall and 5th place in my class, it exhausted all my physical and mental condition. But for me, a commitment made will be a commitment made and I went to participate in the F1 race anyway. I confess that I was more lost than a blind man in the middle of a shootout and I only did stupid things during the race and let this serve as a lesson to never repeat. After the incident (in which I was not at fault) with CC and Gabrielle, I was completely disoriented and it resulted in a stupid accident due to a total lack of concentration. I hope we can have a better relationship from now on, as we have mutual admiration for Mike Olson and there is no reason why we can't be friends. It was a fantastic year of competitions at ISO and in advance, my congratulations to the organizers and the race broadcast team. I tried a lot and almost managed to score points in the championship on a few occasions, coming in 7th place on one occasion, but finishing the vast majority of races. so nothing more fair to wish my congratulations on getting the point for Arrows that they chased throughout the championship.

Coming up to the end of another incredible season, so many memories and so many thrilling moments! I can't start my statement with other than thanking entire ISO admin team, broadcast team, supporters and drivers for many pleasant Sundays of good racing.
In this time, I'm happy that I could sort out life issues that prevented me from racing last year. Then I went lucky to secure a Minardi right in the second round, and making it last till final stages of Monaco, granting me a few points, that was mega! Then at Haas, I think pace wasn't bad, but I had plenty of mistakes, something I need to work on. In many other series I race, consistency isn't an issue, but in more demanding cars such as here, I'll be focusing on that next season.
Also, I'm very pleased to have had the opportunity to interact with some of you in the Discord channel during practice before races, in special Anders who is always nice to talk to. Actually, it would be awesome if BL could join us there sometimes as she used to do in the TS.
Being unable to race at Adelaide was really sad moment for me. I had this road trip to Denmark with my wife and a friend couple. I don't know where I could have taken that Haas, but I was confident this would be a track I wouldn't retire for other reason than engine.
I'm very stoked for the next season, and eager to have a try on the F1 91 mod!

Adelaide, one of the best Formula 1 street circuits in history that needs racing, so in the 1st place thanks for the car. With a beautiful setup made by my good friend Gabriele and with a nice middle class car to go into battle with again with the thoughts, who doesn't, to finish the race. this time I experience the enormous power with a very strong Turbo, something I have not yet had the opportunity to drive in competition , what a pleasure, bang whoooshh. However I had to keep this crazy v6 block in one piece but found out late in the warmup that I had the wrong download and with a few minutes to go I experienced an unbearable power peak that hit the limiter. i simply did not have time to adjust the gearing. i had a downtune schedule that i adhered to, boost controll and anti roll bars starting with 2.8 pressure. This resulted in a lighting start from 20 to 12 on the 1st lap, what a great feeling and icm with super softs the car was stable. Unfortunately I could not tame the turbo kick well and the engine popped into the red several times , with nice short battles with Brian and Michael the engine went in lap 23....

First of all I want to apologize for trying to reset the weekend during the official Qualifying session. I was lost with time, sorry for that. Practice and Qualifying was ok, still to much to improve on a Banzai lap as I have the feel that a lot of time is lost out of the corners. The start of the Race was good, gained some positions taking advantage of others mistakes. The best moment was a overtake on a Lola Haas on the main straight, just got the boost to the max and floored the gas. At that moment the good Renault made the job and left the Ford behind just to my braking skills to miss the point and hit a barrier, doing a small damage to the car. After that I did some laps and decided to retire after a spun.
I want to thank you guys for letting me join the league and compliment the organizers. This is a amazing experience we can have here, with the special Mod and broadcast.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2024! See you in 1991!

I wonder how good the MP4/2 is ? I'd love to find out at the last F1 round Well... it isn't good- it's fantastic. Driving this excellent piece of machinery was a great experience. But let me start by apology to fellow drivers - Bruno and Gabrielle. My idea on how to overtake Bruno's Arrows was simply based on what I read many times at the pre race driver briefings- in case of being lapped, stay on the racing line and let the faster driver do his job. Sadly I followed this idea, without properly judging the real situation on the track. Add a great closure rate for those cars and the reciepe for a disaster is ready. After reviewing the replay I realized that Bruno simply wanted to keep the racing line opened for me to overtake. I feel gutted that for Bruno's kind gesture I didn't change my overtake idea and simply run into Arrows back. Once again all apologies to you. But let me put some more positive thoughts on the race itself. Finishing 3rd was way beyond expectations. The engine withstood excessive amount of beating - missed shifts, and overreving it to the ignition limiter couple of times. All the credit goes to the McLaren team and the mechanics- repair was quite long, but worthwile. Car drove without any issues, so I'm glad to collect some valuable points towards Constructor's Championship and help to beat unstoppable Lotus Team. If you ask me before the race start, I'd say that driving this great car without much experience, without proper setup I'd be glad to last as long as half distance of the race.

A big thanks to the crew, organizers and the TV broadcast of this series.
F1 1986 Mod is my favorite interms of physics, such a difficult era to recreate. Getting what I would consider an outsider car with a shot was fantastic especially along side my brother. We had some great times even trough there where lots of up and downs wich actually in the end adds to the 80's spririt. A season to remember!
Well done to all winners & participants!
