Thanks for giving me a drive for the round. Didn't quite maximize qualifying and the race start but the strategy and race pace was great, for whatever reason I had no FFB and couldn't remember my reset button so it was an interesting experience.
Luke and I were making our way forward and when in clean air after getting past the couple packs we were stuck in were matching or faster than just about anybody and the hard Pirelli's I was on were going to make it with plenty of meat left on the and were in the optimum range. Unfortunately caught up with a lapped Benetton and later with Kirsten after a spin at Rascasse and lost the front wing (I didn't know until T1) and 100 seconds to repairs. Car was fast after the stop and without any drama's could have realistically still got to 5th but gradually while catching Del Piccolo I got more stutters and tried turning my stream off and then it froze permanently. Unfortunate but just one of those #AMSThings
Would love to do more races, unfortunately races fall on a monday morning for me so I am driving to work during most races but this race fell on a public holiday, so does Mexico later in the season so hopefully there will be a seat free and I can make that one too.

For me the important thing was to qualify and I did. I am aware that I don't have the ability to rub myself against the guard rails although my car is great and using the last minute setup given by Juha (thanks Juha!), I managed to start where I intended. Monaco has always been the ultimate challenge for my skills and with little training time with the new steering wheel, I was very excited for the race. I made a calm start and lost 2 positions, I didn't want a direct confrontation in the early part of the race and I remained conservative, although I realized that some drivers use small touches on the rear of the car as a technique to undermine my rear suspension. I managed to progressively move up positions based on other people's mistakes and was in 10th place competing with the respectful Jonatan (who, although he was aggressive, didn't touch my back) I made a small mistake which resulted in a slightly stronger contact with the guard rail and decided to bring my stop forward by 2 laps, my car needed repairs. When entering the pit, I realized that Juha was in the pit and as everything is narrow in Monaco, I decided to go one more lap due to lack of space and on the next lap, I managed to make my stop and there were 129 seconds of repairs. I returned to the track in the last positions but I improved with my lap times, although fatigue (I think I used too much ffb on the steering wheel) was already sapping my strength. I did my best and managed to do several laps between 1:28 and 1:29 but I wasted a lot of time by giving up space when I got a lap advantage from the fastest ones. Finally, I was happy to have finished the race and managed to survive this tiring race. Congratulations to Jason for the excellent transmission and to Giovane for the beautiful victory.

Thanks for the great broadcast yesterday. Fun observation regarding the car sounds: I've got a couple of antique liqueur glasses next to my TV, which start ringing when the Ferrari V12 comes near redline speed...

Wow, that was a great race! Monaco is always a special place for me and a victory is a big reward for the time spent practicing. Qualy was more or less as expected, i coulnd't find a solution for the massive overheating of the sticky tyres so as soon track temperature went up my chanche to improve was basically zero. Started from 8th place, i lost a position and during the opening laps i was stuck behind Niklas and John but i managed to pass both at Massenet. The situation at lap 10 was Grant first with a huge advantage and behind him a big group of 4 cars led by Ray.I was 6th but after some incidents i was in 4th position; the car was much better in race trim and slowly, lap after lap the gap to Cezarius shrinked from 12 to 4 seconds. At that point the best i could achieve was a 2nd position as Grant was absolutely amazing fast but when i saw his car parked after the swimming pool chicane my expectations changed radically. I kept focused, Ray pitted and tyres allowed me to stay out and study the situation. I think Cezarius did the same and when i saw that Ray was slower after the stop i decided to stay out and stop only after the Minardi, at any cost. After a desperate lap i stopped, thankfully was fast enough to exit ahead of Cezarius. I was first , unbelieveable, but how the race would unfold was still a big question, Cezarius is a fast driver and i had 40 laps ahead. My pace was good enough to keep a safe distance at 90% effort, when the Minardi went too close i was able to put a couple of fast laps to stabilize the situation; I think I caused some head scratching to Jason and Juha seeing the gap moving like a yo-yo . The last 10 laps were difficult, my car was set for mid race and it became tail happy lap after lap, the front bar was on the stiffest setting yet and no more clicks avaiable to correct the issue but in the end, well, i won...
thanks to all the participants, especially to those who make possible this league to run like a clock and congrats to the podium and all the survivors.
see you next time!

Qualified 2nd which I was not expecting
Start of the race I managed to stay 2nd into turn 1. I wasn't on Grants pace but I was able to keep the guys behind at bay. After a few laps I hit the wall at the swimming pool and had rear suspension damage which made the car oversteer and nervous underbaking, especially into the chicane.
I was sorry to see Grant yet again drop out of the lead through no fault of his own. So now leading I was a second a lap of my pace due to my damage, but the Williams was pulling me clear of trouble on the straights. Pitted on lap 40 even though I selected do no repair I still had a 21 second stop. Came out in 3rd with a 12 second gap to the leading two cars. To my surprise the car felt even worse on fresh rubber so I decided to manage the gap till 4th place until the finish and take home a good amount of points for the championship.
Well done to Ceszarius for 2nd and Giovanne for the win. Thank you to Jason. Your commentating is a pleasure to listen to.
See you all in Canada

First qualification of the season for me. I don't deserve much credit, as I owe this qualification to my unfortunate and very fast teammate, who completed a 13th lap and was disqualified... The race quickly came to an end when a sudden and severe understeer brought me up against a rail... Now I just have to find the motivation to take this Lamborghini to Montreal!

Didn't qualify too well and started from P20. At least I didn't have to worry about putting the car on the grid. Had a decent start and opening laps, moved to P12. Just as the situation stabilised, my engine blew up in lap 11. End of story
