Unless Ricardo checks in before the green flag, I'd like to claim the #7.

I'm sorry I wasn't able to confirm that I won't be racing today sooner, life as been quite busy recently. Didn't have the time to train at all for some weeks.

How many absences do I have so far? I know I failed to qualify Monaco (tech issue), Phoenix and Imola, if I miss this one how many do I have left? I'm not sure I can make it to today's race.

Failing to qualify isn't counted as an absence, so far you got 1 absence and can have 3 further before loosing your car

I won't make it today, hopefully someone makes use of the car.

Tried to qualify, but when I was able to gain 0.6 on my time I lost control and 1 second total. Had a time 0.02 slower than Kayo, out of the race.
Frustration is replaced by the feeling that the BT60 is much better than BT59, and also thanks to Ricardo’s setup from Brazil. This was really a game changer.
See some of you next Sunday at Snetterton, and I’ll try harder for the next 1991 round. If my Microprose memories are not failing, we’re going to Magny Cours from here.
Good week everyone

Had a good qualifying in P13. Was very careful at the start, lost two spots in the first lap. Some laps later, Gabriele made a mistake in the last chicane and I was able to pass. That started a battle us which lasted for 20-25 laps. I think he was a bit quicker, but only 2-3 tenths. Not enough to just let him by, teammate or not haha. Unfortunately Gabriele was just a few car lenghts behind me when my engine exploded. I wasn't quick enough to pull over to the left, he wasn't quick enough to avoid me to the right either and off went his front wing. Damn.
Hope the team can afford a new engine for Mexico.

Had a good tussle with the Lotus team for most of the race, as well as Larousse team and Juha in the first stint. Still can't get a handle on this car for some reason. Oh well. Just happy I didn't crash out or blow the engine. I have no idea how the engine survived because I abused it like crazy Thanks for the broadcast!

I found it difficult to find the rhythm in qualifying but on my last run I managed to do 1:17.8 which was good enough for 3rd on the grid the next cars behind were within about 0.2 secs so it was very close. I watched the battle to get on the grid once I had done my laps, I know that its difficult down there but well done a great field. The race start was good as Grant made a poor start and I got in to 2nd place. That didn't last too long as after a few laps I spun at the hairpin and was down to 8th. From then on it was a fight to get back towards the front but too many small mistakes stopped that from happening. I had a bit of a battle with Richard before I got a run in to the final chicane and managed to scrap through. Richard's under-cut pitstop got him back in front by about 8 seconds which was difficult to close back up and then with about 10laps remaining I was right with him. It took a few laps to get past Richard but I managed it only to find that I didn't have enough fuel to complete the remaining 3 laps. Therefore Richard went back to 4th place and I cruised around to finish 5th with a 1:44 final lap. Good fun. Well done Ray (was it really that easy!), Anders and Grant . Thanks for the broadcast , I will go and watch it shortly.
