Server is online, there are some drivers on it. Use the IP indicated in the first post, it is NOT the same as USAC, maybe that is the problem you have not changed it. It is this one: 51.77.116.8: 34897

Sorry for the late message, but I'm working on a blast with a Dirt Rally series to start this weekend, so I won't be running tonight unfortunately

Damn I can't believe how I lost it that stupidly. Started last due to having caught a vicious cold and feeling like shit, and was taking it easy getting positions from those who spun or crashed, and then me idiot touched, just touched the edge of the track and the car spun around hopelessly and hit the barrier. Tough luck, was feeling quite comfortable at my pace Unfortunately can't stay for race 2 as it gets late for me, but I got the bug and will be back for the next event

Gutted that I couldn't race tonight. Lakeside is one of my favorite tracks, but a close friend of mine was quite sick and I felt that I had to help her out with getting her medicine and buy groceries, so that's why had to leave.
Looking forward to the next race like hell now.

I also hope your friend will feel better soon!

Well, this evening was a lot of hard work in the Hyundai camp.
While Hyundai had some good ideas for their Rally Programme of the early 00's their effort of upgrading the Class II Lantra to Super Touring spec didn't quite go to the plan I don't think, it lacks a bit in most avenues...
But anyway, onto the races themselves.
In practice I noticed that I'd struggle a little bit around here compared to the RWD's especially as the track reminds me, at least, of Knockhill and Oulton Park, tracks at which Rear Wheel Drive has always been an advantage.
Qualifying 1:
Surprised myself with a PB lap in there when I took the fuel out with a 52,6 lap. It was "only" good enough for 3rd on the grid but I'll take it either way.
Race 1:
At the start I ended up being a bit too careful and lost out to both Richard W and Dave M but on the exit of the first turn Dave made a tiny mistake and I could take the position back to sit in 4th.
At Hungry Corner Ryan made a mistake and ran wide at which time I tried to sneak up the inside but misjudged what he'd do and contacted his rear right and slowed us both down, sorry for that mate.
Lost out to Ray, Dave M, David S and Juha but the latter pair made contact later around the Eastern Loop and I were able to sneak past.
Fastforward a lap and Ray had a lackluster exit out of Ford and I could sneak past down the front stretch.
Now it was a question of catching up to Dave in his Vauxhall Cavalier and I had to work hard for it but after 5 laps or so I was sitting, more or less, on his rear bumper.
I had barely caught up with him when he ran just a tad wide at Ford, put his left rear on the grass and the correction caused him to hit the outside barriers.
After I got past it was a question of trying to stay consistent and hope for mistakes up ahead but sadly it didn't happen and 4th was the best I could do with the lowly Hundy in the 1st race.
Qualifying 2:
Everyone else were able to improve while I was allready at my max pace and it resulted in 5th on the grid but still somehow best-of-the-rest behind the Bimmers and Richards Audi.
Race 2:
Had a similar start to the one I had in Race 1, lost out to Daves Cavalier but stayed inside the top 5.
I can't quite remember how I got past Dave but I think I got by at the Loop and I was able to run a few laps and open up the gap but then I got disturbed by Juha on TS when he mis-timed a coughing/clearing his throat thing and I didn't notice I had locked up and therefor slid off at Karousel.
This allowed Dave through and the rest of the race consisted, for me and Dave, a battle for 5th place in the race.
My car was slightly outclassed down the straight but my driving and setup meant I was a bit faster on the run through Dunlop Bridge up to Eastern Loop.
I had a few moves going into the Loop but I wasn't quite able to make it work and in the end Dave held onto 5th place with me about 2 tenths behind in 6th.
A really fun battle, thanks again Dave.
I'm overall happy with my results for the evening, this was a proper struggle track for the Hundy, I hope it'll be better for the next race at Phillips Island until we get to Calder where I recon I'll struggle a little bit once again.
Cheers to everyone who showed up and I'll look forward to seeing you all and hopefully more drivers at Phillip Island.

Amazing intense racing as always, you are missing out if you are not here!
So i ended up picking the audi again because it wouldnt be a ASTC champ without at least one of the works audis around.
It was a big battle with the damn cars from bavaria here, but i for sure felt the extra kilos i got on top of the ones i already had in STW. Went as fast as i could, and no major mistakes saw a 2nd and a 3rd against fierce opposition.
As usual cant wait for the next one!

I really like this mod, Really like Volvo. I found some adjustments and the car became faster (not faster like others, but fast to me) Low time diference, I did many races with slowly times , bigger seconds gap. And today not so bigger, 2 seconds. I think I'm on the right path to get even closer

Philippe I had high hopes of banging wheels with you after some laps we did together in the practice that were great fun and also with Bruno as we all were more less on a similar pace. Too bad I spun stupidly, but given how crippled I was (And am still) I was lucky to even get past the first corner. I hope that we will meet again at Philip Island though

I trained very little and didn't know this track, so I decided to take it easy. Alright in the first battery, I managed to take the car to the end even suffering 2 lane exits, the car finished whole. On the second drums, my cell phone rings (I forgot to put in the silencer) and it was enough for me to touch the grass at turn 1 and hit the tire barrier. End of race, I lost a wheel and the engine broke down. Hope you get better soon Alberto.

I want to thank Ryan Walker for the setup link. The setup was great! Shame on me, I was not so well on a fast and narrow track.

Race 1, had a great start being careful and was in 4th place. Juha then tried to go up the inside of me at the Eastern Loop, he must have been on the grass, and we collided with me getting heavy damage and Juha rolling. From then on it was just drive around until the finish 7th.
Race 2, Again a clean start but early in the race I got a slide going into turn 1, clipped the kerb and the car rolled and slid on its roof to the barrier with the impact stopping the engine, race over.
Which cars are in the Independents championship? Is the Independents championship the TOCA Challenge Cup? I guess that it is.

Any car that has a red name on it's windows it eligible for the Independents championship.

Cars from teams without "Australia" in their name is another way to spot them.

From then on it was just drive around until the finish 7th. Sorry for that. I was indeed on the grass. My car wasn't much good after that.
I didn't do much better in race two, except I didn't crash this time around.
