Just to make sure you book a place in the right spot, it ain't Phoenix in Georgia, Illinois or Louisiana, also not in Maryland, Michigan or Mississippi, It ain't none in New Jersey, New York or Oregon, not even in Alberta, British Columbia and especially, not in South Africa. Next stop is Phoenix, Arizona! For the Checker 200, and the closest thing I can think of with some sort of link to the race name was this.

Just noticed the event poster contains the words "THE HEAT IS ON!", handing me a valid excuse for posting this one too:

Round of 1 the DRM will take us to the "IX. AvD/MVBL Rundstreckenrennen - Bergischer Löwe". The Löwe refers to the red lion on the event poster, which featured on the coat of arms of the Duchy of Berg.
So we can have a few songs about lions. Also because I couldn't find much noteworthy to post about my home nation.

Let me follow it up with one of my favourites from theirs:

We're racing at Portland this week, and there's a Belgian band with just that name: Portland.
Probably unknown outside our country, but I like them:

Jimi sez: If you're G.I.Joes lady, you better don't mess around with other men!
What a lame bunch, but at least its a good audience and gives an applause. But else, either they had no clue what they just saw, or they were in complete awe. Ah, those were the times where good girls went to a concert in a skirt suit!

Yesterday, I paid my local Vinyl pusher a visit. Bad idea. Went home with Tricky's 'Tricky Kid' EP, for almost a steal...

As the next two races are both hold on street tracks, this one seems fit: This one could have worked as well for the Norisring, as it was 23 degrees on the day the race was held, towards the end of summer:

It's ironic that a band whose biggest hit was named 'Wind of Change' remained faithful to to the same style throughout its existence. I doubt you'll ever find me queuing for one of their performances.
The German piece of audio which features the most often on my phone is actually this one (and it's the BBC who are to blame for it):

Monaco on the schedule this week, and who better to represent the Principality than a member of its own Princely House.
Or one could say we're running to the sea when tackling the descent after Casino Square.
