Anders you can pick a season car if you want, so as to be sure that you will have a drive you like. If a better one becomes vacant, it will be offered to everyone and you can switch, and if you can't attend regularly and loose/drop the car, that won't prevent you from picking one offs or a season car again.

Yes, and this was a brilliant engine....
... had it been released 15-20 years earlier. it was, in a 917 in one shape or another I understand from several sources, the 91 Porsche F1 engine design was basically 2 mid-80s championship winning TAG-Turbo V6 engine blocks fused together into a V12. Out of date technically and very heavy. PR stunt gone terribly wrong Best move they made was to sneak away from the project mid season claiming to return once it was all sorted

They only ones that sneaked away was Footwork/Arrows, since they decided to drop it for some Hart-tuned engines and didn't wanna wait for Porsche to get their serious update going. Because I think there were still people that did try to provide a better engine, not to mention it would've been a hughe flop for Porsche to give up like that...

Porsche "Sneaked" away too, they claimed multiple times during '91 that they would stay after the 91 season either with Footwork or another team. Even saying this as late as the Spanish GP. The fact that both of the heads of the project were dismissed shows how embarrassed Porsche was. Porsche made major mistakes in the design, no upgrades were going to improve that engine, only a whole new one would make any difference. Porsche and Footwork simply underestimated the task at hand, Porsche admitted that themselves.
Both parties were equally to blame, they didn't work together like McLaren and Porsche beforehand, hence them using an A11c for the first two races and the new engine didn't fit in the FA12. No one at Footwork expected the engine to be so big.
But back to Imola now. 🙂

Well, with serious update, I basically meant a true V12, not two bolted together to form one. And those that worked on it apparently then used it(or any experience gained) for a new project. If it was a magazine, I probably threw it away by now

Just 5 left to confirm. Gianluca, Mick, Brian, Reilly and Adam to confirm. If all confirm and everyone shows we will have a full grid of 26 cars

Won't for sure make qualifying. Are there DNQ's? If so, there's no point for me showing up.

Only if more than 26 people appear, which so far isn't the case.

#9 Wow, not going for the Benetton? After being busy elsewhere and staying in bed due to headache and being a bit unwell, I'll probably not get far in this race I fear...

I wanted to let someone through into the first hairpin, touched the grass on the outside, lost then the control but somehow I didn't touched the barrier but then the gravel ended my Race
Big Thanks to David Jaques for helping me with the Setup, the car felt good until I touched the grass
