Some people forgot the race to the flag rule, was lucky to take advantage of that too.
The 500 miler is going to be tough, strategy will make the difference as overtaking is hard.

Another one lost in the pits. Also got a drive-thru penalty for supposedly jumping the start, but could at least pit right after that as another yellow came out. Did two stops in that caution actually, and the second one was unnecessary. When the green came out, I was 10+ seconds after Alberto, and could not catch up on that. When the checkered flag came out, I had more than a lap of fuel left. Without that extra pit stop, I would have been with Alberto the entire final stint and would have had a better shot at winning. Oh well, just a qualifying race. Looking forward to next weekend. And also: have never won at Pocono, guys in the broadcast booth. Won at Trenton, Texas and Phoenix with the 73's, and at Milwaukee, Cleveland, Toronto, Road America, Nazareth and Tamiami in 1988.

Also, did I F Up the start? Was I not in the wrong line? Sorry if so, looked like I spawned on the outside, and kept myself there.

I've got a fair bit of work to do; towards the end and in traffic it was quite awful.

Amazingly clean race for all the Odd fellows in Heat 1 Had to worry about fuel a little without any yellows. The only one came on edge my pit window. I was hesitant coming in, then screwed up my stop trying to recalculate fuel while putting down pitlane Lucky to get back to 2nd. Good run Adam and Jukka! And rocket Cezarius Good broadcast of 2nd heat too! entertaining, unpredictable race, Glad I didnt have money on it These were the sprints, marathon next week See you all then.

No, it's that the starting boxes are a bit weird, but once you get going the game tells you to asume your normal position. I will be going through the replay to see why you and me got drive throughs, the SC works very well and does not brake at all, it enters the pist at full speed, but the game is sensitive to us accelerating too early or whatever. Czsariusz did it perfectly at race 1 and had no issues, need to copy that. Speaking of, that was blistering pace in the Coyote, only the bad luck with the strategy deprived him of victory. But, that is what these races are all about, having the quickest car is not always a free ticket for the win! Many things can, and usually do, happen.

Had a decent race. Thanks to Jacques for being my Crew Chief/Strategist. If you watched the broadcast, Jason was correct I did slap the wall exiting 4 early on, so I did have some damage. I jumped down pit road on the first caution because that should've been enough. I was surprised when it said going green as I was heading down pit lane. Opted to just take 2 tires. When the next caution came Jacques said pit again, top it up and change all 4, so I did. I was then set to run as hard as I could for the rest of the race. Except, we realized we didn't take into account that draft itself.
I had gotten a great start at the initial green, but slotted in behind some people, as I didn't want to end my race before it started, this almost backfired as Francois was trying his hardest to push me up into the wall on the back straight on Lap 1, so I backed out of that. On the last restart I got a better start then the first start, and I saw an opening, so I went for it. I really just wanted to lead at least 1 lap, and there was my chance so I grabbed it. When I finally settled in behind Alberto, I realized I was taching out and running 216 at the end of the straights. Faster then I had been all month, and I didn't factor that into my fuel burn. When I started the penultimate lap I realized I wouldn't make it and had to make a splash and go.
My car needs some work, it wasn't driving the way I want it to(seems to be the story of me and these cars I had the same issue with the AAR Eagle when ran these in rFactor for the Triple Crown Gold Star races a couple years ago) But a Top 10 starting position should be good. I feel like the big race will be like this one, bit of chaos in the first few laps then it will settle down into a single file run.

My race was basically a quiet one; I lost ground to Ray Riddall early on, but began to close on him and the cars ahead after a while. Was looking forward to doing battle with them, but then Ray spun right in front of me, and that triggered the yellow. In hindsight, I should have dove for the pits at that exact moment, but as they say, hindsight is always 20/20. USAC Man dropped the green after one lap, leaving me exiting the pits as the leaders were charging down the main straight. Had the yellow been longer, I could have closed up to the back and had another shot at improving my position, but oh well. Lots of work to do on the car to make it handle better in traffic; hopefully I will stand the test of 500 miles next Sunday Thank you to Jonatan for the fantastic broadcast.

great to join you all , realy missed you guys. Abit rusty and so sorry i screwed up after the 2nd yellow, the Firestones need several laps to heat with full tanks but after 4 laps they fly and start to work well but after the 2nd yellow pacelap they cool off ofcourse, and i should have know but still had the confidence to go early on the throttle exiting the last turn to do another Balsy move lol, the rear i made very planted ( i guess i need more) and got surprised by a nasty snappy rear and bang couldnt save it and i think it was Raul who was unlucky aswell another car. the turbulence and tows are realy good in this mod , very very awesome AND dangerous , however i need more ffb to feel the tires, i have this mostly on the mods you guys make so maybe i need to tweak the realfeel myself? any sugestions?.
