I have a question: does parc ferme means there is no fuel adding before the race too? Im acctualy quite unfammiliar with this rule, never faced it before.

I could add fuel last time before the race. NO other changes in the setup, though.

Sorry Ray for the tap but i got hit just before that and it unsettled the car,yet again the latest update has screwed my controls up when race starts, seems ok in practice/qualy,but soon as it goes to race the settings change on final straight went from 5th to neutral instead of 6th ?,which resulted in me getting rear ended and out.

Damn, I love these cars. ...and this track.
Thanks, ISO, for hosting this. Wish I had been able to make the Wednesday race too.
That was a blast.
+1 for a championship in these, I'd definitely be in!

Suspension was wrecked, limped to the pits (luckily happened right in front of the pit entrance) see if it could be repaired, but figured i wasn't feeling like a 22 lap hot-lapping session... so i retired the car, but oh well. it's part of racing, better luck next time.

This cars are really tricky to drive... Either Im really incapable of seting those propperly. The very moment I start to push a bit harder, Im acctualy driving on the edge and start to be a threat for myself and others.. Its kinda frustrating, since I was not able to follow the rest of the field. However, I had fun overall, I cought some of the cripled cars, but event like that, i was not able to battle them propperly.. So whats next.. Im on holiday for two weeks, and no races in plan?

Sorry I did not show up last night. We had some people over unexpectedly and did some local Belgian product tasting... Driving a stock car after that did not seem like the most wise thing to do. Timo Hahaha Timo, I tryed to drive these friday night after some scotch.. very, very tricky

However, I had fun overall, I cought some of the cripled cars, but event like that, i was not able to battle them propperly.. So whats next.. Im on holiday for two weeks, and no races in plan? These cars are definitely "slow in, fast out". There seems to be no other way to drive them efficiently. Any pushing just seems to result in overdriving, sliding, etc etc etc. They are sort of "on edge" at all times. But it's deceptive and sometimes what feels like the edge is quite a bit more unstable than when you push through those bounds and find a new "edge"...I found multiple places at Interlagos where I thought I was at the car's limit, only to find that I wasn't even close to it yet, and strangely, the closer I got the more stable and balanced the car felt. I've found they also require a specialized style of driving to feel like I'm not always on edge. I don't know how everyone else tends to approach them, but for me, part of the goal is to ALWAYS stay in the throttle slightly. Can't just lift off and let them rotate like many other cars. Also, can't push hard into throttle suddenly (they really don't like that at all)... ...so I've ended up developing this habit where I'm blipping throttle (or mostly just slightly "on" it a bit...ever so slightly at times because it'll cause the car to push through the corners) even while I'm braking... It's a pain to get used to, but rewarding as all hell when you get it right. That said, I remember some conversation about using aggressive wings to stabilize these things. While it seems to work to some degree, I don't think that's the best approach. More effective seems to be differential tweaks to suit your particular style..and in getting that in a comfortable zone, I seem to have better results that way than just trying to tack some wing on for stability. I'm interested to know if Richard, in particular, was running high wings yesterday. I was at 0 myself.

I was at wing 6. Great race with you 👍 Great racing with you as well. I enjoyed it! Alone on track, I had a good pace. In traffic, not so much. Seemed even without the draft, especially in the second sector, I was able to make up time, but lost most of it in the first corner it seemed. Makes sense though....excellent move as you dove in on David and I as I was trying to pressure him. Smiles all the way. ...keeping saying this to myself, but I really need to get some triples set up. I'd love to get a bit more aggressive at times, but I constantly feel like I'm leaving way too much space if I'm two wide into corners (especially)....it's those times that the restrictions of a single monitor become very clear. Would love to be able to SEE that I'm not being overly aggressive, but be able to feel like I'm giving 100% rather than what I generally feel like I'm doing now, which is compensating for the lack of side to side vision by being too cautious. ...anyways...talking to myself now...hehe. Great race and again, +1 for a series in these cars... +100
