I personally prefer the Brazilian stocks for the wheel to wheel, nose to tail action we see in those and something like these cars as well....but either one, I enjoy immensely, so let's do it to it! Hell, I just like racing with you guys, no matter the cars. Always fun and enjoyable competition around here and anywhere this group races. ..ready for whatever may come!

Great first race. Really tough battle with Austing who was very fast so was almost whole race in close contact with me. In second race i was surprisingly not so fast as in the first one so i had to hardly fight with the guys behind me up to the point when Raul stayed on the track when he losted his rear end and almost everybody behind colided. Oh boy next time more carefulness will be better then a lot of aggressiveness from your side especially on cold tyres. But i enjoyed it a lot.

Oh boy next time more carefulness will be better then a lot of aggressiveness from your side especially on cold tyres. But i enjoyed it a lot. Martin, Im really sorry.. If you are talking about my first lap spin.. well, it was all a chain reaction really. First mr.Whited overtook me in T3 (small hairpin in the middle), and knocked me a bit, when my car lost stability, and I was try not to lose connection with him. Then in the next tricky left-right turn, I spun. I dont know if somebody touched my rear, or maybe I touched mr. Whited rear, or I just cought the grass.. I tryed to correct the car, which is acctualy instinct, with no aim to hurt anybody else.. Latter on, Jukka spun me on the same inner hairpin, or at least I think it was his kiss in my butt, which spun me, and same way, trying to keep the car on the track, I hurt mr. Ryon.. Many appologies to all, Im pretty lousy in FWDs, or maybe just not enough exp.. I was supprised with P5 on qually.. and too bad, I could have score some better positions, but my lack of feel for these, and not enough practice has a price.. Ill do my best not to repeat that mistakes.. I wish I could say that I was agressive, its more that I was battling my car and myself more than Im able to...

Just a top for FWD cars, if you start losing the rear end of the car, just floor the throttle 😉

Sorry, Raul. I don't recall the exact moment we must have bumped, but if I was to blame I apologize. I was quite a bit faster than some of the cars I found myself behind and started to feel like I was being held up, so I may have got a bit wild and slightly aggressive....though, to quote the bossman "these are touring cars, after all" ...then every time I would gain some ground, I'd end up nearly losing the car and falling back behind the same cars...over and over this happened. FWD never wants to do what I tell it. Just push, push, push...straight into a wall. A challenge..but one that grates at my nerves over time.

If the cars is just pushing, you are accelerating too hard and too soon. You need to feed the power in. But there are much worse FWD cars out there.

Certainly correct.
Though, knowing this and applying this are two very different things (for me anyways)... Always easy alone on track...these cars are simple to drive. Start going wheel to wheel and I get to pushing too much and then what you describe is the result.
It's been a while since I spent much time in anything FWD outside of rally stuff. More time and muscle memory and it'll be fine.
Nonetheless, FWD still grates on my nerves. I like a loose car I can toss around with the throttle. Of course, that is what makes it challenging, and grating on my nerves or not, I love a challenge!

i think this is one of the best sim fwd cars.
it feels right. and it lets me right foot brake.
plus its not too fragile, which allows for proper touring car racing!

Jason, no need for appologies.. Im trying to find some excuses for my errors, and most easy way is to see others as a reason for that But as said, I started to GET the feeling, more races and practice would make me even better, much confident.. as Alberto said, after 130 races, Ill learn And after all, spinning, crashing and touching eachother does not necessery means quiting, which makes room for fun!

In the end you are lucky bastard, I will need 200+ races to get the feel

We are very busy preparing the opening of the F1 71 season in HSO in february, and there are right now consecutive Gold Star and CanAm races, but expect the announcement of a short championship here for the remaining sundays of this half of the year
