I'm looking for a co-driver for my Entry in the 2020 iRacing 24 Hours of the Nürburgring! The 2020 iRacing 24 Hours of the Nürburgring will be held on April 25-26 and I'm intending to enter the 1300 GMT slot with my team and my Ferrari 488 GT3!
The only issue is... It's a 24-hour-race and so far I'm alone in my team. So, does anyone by any chance have the time and willpower to compete with me in the big race? If so, PM me please or reply in this thread! Requirements: - An active iRacing account and subscription (obviously)
- At least a C Class Road License (otherwise you're ineligible for entering the series)
- Pieces of Content: Nürburgring Nordschleife and Nürburgring Grand-Prix-Strecke and Ferrari 488 GT3
- 24 hours of time on May 3 and 4 (we'll set the stints up so that it fits best for driving and time management)
- Optional: Knowledge on how to set that thing up for the 'Ring since we'll be racing with the big boys :^)
"The iRacing 24 hours of the Nurburgring will be held on May 3 and 4. Two time slots will be available for this race, 1:00 GMT and 13:00 GMT. Race will be on the Gesamtstrecke 24h layout and feature the following cars: Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, Global Mazda MX-5 Cup and five GT3 cars – Audi R8 LMS, Ferrari 488 GT3, Mercedes AMG GT3, McLaren MP4-12C GT3 and the BMW Z4 GT3."

The Mazda is still in it? Even though they have the TCR Audi and the GT4 Cayman for example now?

I just checked and the MX-5 is actually not in it, despite the (original) description of the event stating that it's in there. I understand why, though. It would be scary as shit doing the 24H in a Mazda with GT3 cars zooming by every 2 laps. I mean, that's happening in NEC right now but in 4-hour format!

Just Checked on the website, Race is THIS weekend 25-26th April, not sure I can get enough GT3 practise in that time.

Oh you're right ... The 24 Hours of Nürburgring (ADAC 24h Rennen Nürburgring) is a 24-hour endurance event held on the Nordschleife of the Nürburgring in Nürburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It also utilizes part of the GP-Strecke course to form a total lap length of 16.1 miles (25.9 km). Date: April 24-26, 2020 Timeslot #1 - Saturday 01:00 GMT | Friday 9PM EDT Timeslot #2 - Saturday 13:00 GMT | Saturday 9AM EDT They should really fix their damn series descriptions ...
EDIT: they did fix it ...

I'm not going to run the iRacing 24h of Nurburgring, so this thread is now void. The reason for this being that my PC (CPU mainly) is unable to sustain the constant load of 40+ GT3 cars on a 16-mile circuit. It's too dangerous to me and other drivers had I decided to keep going.
