Only way i know to correct the issue is go to Automobilista in your games list in steam, right click, proporties, local files and the verify intergrity.
That should put the original files back in place, but it may also remove any mod that you have installed.
Someone else may have another way, so i'd see if anyone else posts anything first.

The file integrity verification check won't remove files. It'll add files that are supposed to be there (base game files) but it won't take any out that 'aren't supposed' to be there. If another file has overwritten it (in Timo's case, a sound file) you'd need to delete that file, then run the integrity check and thus it would be readded to the game. If you don't delete it first, the game will think it's still there. It doesn't check the actual contents (as in, if they've been altered or are untouched) it just checks to make sure the file is there. So for something like this, you need to know which file(s) you want to go back to default...delete them, run integrity check, allow game to readd them. Will work just fine.

Here: 51.77.116.8/57HillV8Engine.7zEDIT: For the record, those are default rFactor sound files, so you should have them also if you still have rFactor.

I don't have 57HillV8Engine in my AMS sounds folder but it is in my rfactor sounds folder. Is that any good?

Yes, some mods -specially conversions from rF- include them because AMS no longer did.

Timo, if you ever experience that FFB "glitch" again, I can tell you it's not the end of the world. The reason being, AMS uses rFactor's RealFeel FFB mod as standard FFB script, thus it has the same controls. In order to reverse your FFB, you have to hit RightCTRL+NUM8 - just like in rFactor!
