Unfortunately, I had to give up for the points dispute even though I was in 13 place and without making a mistake, with a strategy of only 1 stop. Reason: My bladder filled and I either went to the bathroom or i will hit the wall urinating all over. Things of the age ... lol

I couldn't find anything in the setup to get the car to my liking therefore this race was just stay out of trouble, hope for the others to crash and a few yellows to adjust the strategy. Only one yellow therefore not much choice on strategy, one stop and see if I could make it to the end, I only just made it on tyre wear. A few good early battles but its difficult to overtake a similar paced car here. My tyres at the end of the race. Well done Anders. Off to watch the broadcast now, thanks guys.

Awesome race!!!!! Wrong strategy from me, I was really expecting a least 3 FCY in 150 laps. But it is on me, my mistake, should had put fuel for a longer leg. Awesome battles all around, the 2 stops strategy made the race very interesting and not boring. Incredible drive from Anders and David!! Congratulations!! Thanks ISO See you guys next weekend!!!

Got screwed by a frozen screen in middle of corner, and middle of race. I think it lasted 10 seconds while I sat motionless holding wheel and pedals at same angle. Lucky to return from catatonic state in 1 piece but lost almost half a lap and a few positions. This shit is really, really, getting old.
Congrats to everyone else
BTW. Where the bleep were the yellows? Cars facing Wrong way on straight doesn't matter to usac man in 74?

BTW. Where the bleep were the yellows? Cars facing Wrong way on straight doesn't matter to usac man in 74? i think the caution threshold is set pretty damn high, as the only caution AFAIK was caused by me spinning and actually having crashed and lost parts - debris yellow one might wanna call it.

Bad strategy, a spin so slow it cost me a lap, and thus zero points. I'll try to do better next time round.

I think I did wrong in this race about everything I could possibly think of. Screwed my qualy bad time by spending the evening doing something else and jumping in the car last minute, then lowering the fuel when I realized I had too much and it was not necessary, Threw my qualy setup off. Then I had been with my mind elsewhere the whole week and simply did not even think of tires! I was so happy to think I could do so many laps on a tank that I did not even consider that my Firestone would never make it. People around me were going quicker on lower fuel, and I was puzzled until my tires went orange and I had not even used half a tank! Then, and only then did I realize I had screwed it royally. Tried to see how long I could hold the tires, and fiddling with the HUD (Had also forgotten to program back the request pit one, as if the rest was not enough) I did a nice spin and win a la Sullivan, only of course I missed the 50% about winning ... As if that all was not enough, I dived in for the pits when the yellow fell and forgot to adjust my fuel. As a result, exited the pits on fresh tires ... and another full tank!!!! Really, what a mess, everything that could go wrong, did. At that point I was like 4 laps behind the leaders and my only hope was simply biting the bullet and finishing on those fresh tires. I drove carefully and even managed to battle it out with Ray but then when lapping Cesariusz and making room for a lapping car at the same time I lost it out to him and little Al, so no points reward. Oh well, I never deserved them anyway.
On another note, apologizes to Pascal for the opening laps. I had someone brake sooner than expected in front of me, and slid up to avoid hitting him, making contact with the Mongoose. My hud showed no damage, hope it was the same for you.
Other than that it was a rather clean race, 19 out of 23 cars finished in this hard track, and we only got one yellow. Yes there were several spins that could have deserved one, but the sensitivity works now much better, you will always get one or two yellows to add that random element, but not a fuck festival as it was before.

Oval racing has always been a "fuck festival" full of fake excitement and photo finishes caused by garbage yellows that put an unpredictable lottery element into the race. But Fair enough. Thank you for clarification of this series intentions Now we know what to plan for.

I have no issues with the odd garbage yellow that adds excitement, but we have had in the (Not so distant) past enough yellows to make the races not fun at all. In fact if I was distrustful enough I would even suspect that sometimes someone was overdriving knowing that if he caused a yellow due to a spin it would only help him catch up. What everybody should plan at this or any other series for, is doing their best and having fun with whatever you get.

I think the pace car picked a wrong car to lead around the track so the leaders got a free lap?
For once I could just bring the car home and stay out of trouble. Tyre wear took me by surprise. Maybe, if I hadn't lost nearly a lap under caution, I could've fought Jundt and Woodbury for position at the end as I could match their pace alright. Anyway, still very happy with 7th from the back of the grid.

I think the cautions are set just right now. At least in NASCAR, they were more lenient in throwing cautions back in the day, just when there is a stationary car with lots of debris on track is when a caution should be thrown.
Worked out great for us here! But also, a noticeable increase in driving standards since Trenton, that's great!
I had a pretty uneventful race, but I called it right and could benefit from my strategy. Started 8th, lost a couple of spots at the start, but understood just when to pit, and could cruise home in 6th. Crucial points.

Maybe, if I hadn't lost nearly a lap under caution, I could've fought Jundt and Woodbury for position at the end as I could match their pace alright. Anyway, still very happy with 7th from the back of the grid. So that means when I got close enough you let me go? Or did you unlap yourself later again? I was so focused on the consistency battle with Nick towards the end that I can't remember much more than me aiming for the right steering and braking point while nervously glancing at my fuel consumption. I finished the race with the car slightly coughing before the line as I crossed it with around 0.2l left in the tank. Would've probably ran out of fuel on the last lap if I hadn't "discovered" that shifting to 4th saves me like 0.1l per lap, but had to make strategic shifts on certain laps as shifting would mean Nick would get closer. Really worked hard for this 4th place Great race though, enjoyed it. Got lucky with the yellow but worked well with my "strategy" to go full fuel tank at the start and go as far as I possibly could. Thanks to Alberto for the base set and for the BC by Jonatan, still have to watch it!
