I'm sorry. I can't even keep the car on track for one lap. I'm giving up. Have a good one, good luck all.

I'm extremely sorry to the Jordan team I had high wings, so everybody got me on the straight. I started to brake even earlier then before, but anyway I saw myself approaching too fast to the rest, even if I was trying to drive carefully. I preferred to drive into the grass to avoid another incident, but when crashing against that wall the car when back to the track and I hit the Jordan team. I'm ashamed of my behavior and a huge sorry to Gabriele and Tim

I am quite displeased. Not just with the car, which somehow needed a lot of lock on the straights, but with two circumstances in this race. Sadly one Lamborghini was affected and I apologize for that. I am also forfeiting my seat as I don't see either of the problems going away.

Got suspension damage halfway through the race but kept driving. Engine failed with 2-3 laps to go. Sad.

Awesome race!!! Very happy to finish. This track is a killer!! Just kept the car in the grey and it was interesting I couldn't put faster laps with new tires. I think I had more grip but not balls to try to go faster. Congratulations to all finishers and podium!!!👏 P7 feels great!!👍 Thank you for the broadcast Jonatan and Alberto!! Great as usual. See you guys next round!!

For the first time I was comfortable with the setup I developed for this car and the only fear I had was the durability of the brakes and that’s what got me out of the race. It is not the first time that I have been having this kind of problem with the Williams brakes. During training, in race simulation, whenever I approached the last laps I had problems with breaking the brake disc. I used the opening of the brake cooling ducts in position 12, the maximum opening! I had wings in 19 and my car was very fast, feeling safe and I didn't make any mistakes during the whole race, but when I approached the corner, when braking, my car broke the left rear brake disc and became a passenger agony.

I would like an opinion from the MOD developers regarding the brake problems I have been facing with the Williams FW14 # 6. I have always used the opening of the brakes above the necessary, in this race I used in position 12, the maximum. I didn't brake or brake the tires for the entire race. I did 3 complete simulations offline of the race and in 2 of these simulations I had this same problem, breaking the left rear brake disc. My brake balance setting was 49.5 at the front and 50.5 at the rear. What could be happening for this type of brake break to be so constant?

You have to keep the temperatures down, if you are going beyond 1200C it will be very hard to make them last.

Had similar, durability issue with the FW14 Brakes in testing, found running 27, 20 wings starting on 48% front bias and winding it forward to every few laps to make was just enough to make a race distance, had a failure after 47 laps when I was doing my race simulation.
I think it's just a trait of the car, every thing is pushed as far as it will go.

You have to keep the temperatures down, if you are going beyond 1200C it will be very hard to make them last. The maximum temperature was around that, 1200 degrees and the opening of the brake ducts was at maximum. My driving was not aggressive and I did not apply the brakes at any time. What calls my attention is that this problem has been recurring since the beginning of the season.

Dave Miller doesn't seem to have that kind of problem and his direction is quite aggressive. Is there any difference between the 2 cars?

There's no difference between the two cars, if your brakes fail with fully open duct, lower your brake pressure a tad and ... well, brake a little earlier. That's all you can realistically do.

There's no difference between the two cars, if your brakes fail with fully open duct, lower your brake pressure a tad and ... well, brake a little earlier. That's all you can realistically do. The brake pressure was at least 60%. I will try to brake the car earlier and progressively. Despite all that, I did not brake at all during the race.

So my only guess is that you spend too much time braking.
