As we have been mentioning in our broadcasts, we will reveal earlier than usual the mods we are working on for next year. But we won't make it as easy as just announcing them ... instead you will get some teasing pictures that get you thinking what we are actually working on . I'm sure some of our motorsports nuts around will be able to tell from the first pic already , but it might anyway be fun. So as you all know we will be having some mythical F1 season next year, but before showing you some parts of the cars you might want to have a look at the safety car. The mod itself will have unprecedented levels of detail, and some high polygon modelling that sets it among the modern titles. So our safety car could not let it down, and we wanted something really good looking, which is why we came up with this: Next monday we will add some more stuff here ...

Great news Alberto , guessing from the SC, the mythical F1 cars are likely to be powered by 1.5 turbocharged engines

RS Cossie fully drivable too? Would also be eligible for a Group A TC mod, I get Touring Car Masters vibes from that

Smells like BTCC, but I hope we get a Bathurst round if that's the case....

No, this is the safety car of our Formula 1 series next year, at the moment there are no plans to use it in Group A form. But that doesn't mean at all that there will be no touring car racing or Bathurst.

I can't read XD. I wish it's from 93 onwards, I am struggling badly with manual transmission

I can't read XD. I wish it's from 93 onwards, I am struggling badly with manual transmission Why so? You can use paddles still, only really important thing is to time well when you give gas after shifting. After some practice it tends to become second nature.

With previous clues, I was at first optimistically guessing 1982 since that was a rather competitive season, with 11 winners of 7 different teams(only the 2012 season came anywhere close to that tally with 8 different winners, with a record of 7 different winners in successive races). Also, it would've meant I'd have kind of had a home race Due to the safety car, my own guess would be '85 - '87 now. Many turbo seasons didn't see a complete grid with just turbo-powered cars, as teams like Tyrrell were underfunded and turbo engines weren't cheap.

Having a closer look, I see 1998 written on the lisence plate. Is that it? Will it be 1998?

always a dream ( one off ) to compete in a decent turbo f1 season. Realy hope there is the option to install Qualify (bomb) engines and go for the launch with only 1 lap with super sticky qualifiers remember Berger said in qualify in 1985 at Paul Ricard, the Blurr and bouncing on the mistral straight makes us all puke and getting out of the car there eyeballs rolled out undo there helmets , like they run on coke.. haha man insane stuff ( must be a very rare sight how De Cesaris looked with his strange eye rolls thick )

Here are some more pictures, this time to show the depth of the work that is going on. First is Wilk's downforce map of one of the cars. As you can see there is an envelope of efficiency (red) clearly defined, where you will want the car to be as much as possible. There is a deep physics work here to ensure that the car will react realistically to both driving and setup inputs and adjustments, and that the downforce levels are correct at all times. Next is am image of our new super-high detail wheels. These were specially created for the mod, and you will see them when selecting max detail, although doing that for all cars will bring any PC to its knees. So it will be mostly for your own enjoyment from cockpit view, as the high detail ones (Next level) suffice for the rest of cars - they are in fact still even more detailed than any mod we have done so far! More stuff to come next week, with the presentation of the mod, and some of the cars
