Disco outta nowhere. I was using Streamlabs OBS, but I haven't suffered a disco before.
What else could I do to minimise a disco? Maybe also use that whisper trick?

Another race ruined by the same guy as in Hungary.
Oh well...never felt comfortable at this track with this car.

The tyres felt horrible in this race, nothing like what they had been in testing. I somehow managed to blow a rear tyre on the opening lap going around the Lesmos! I carried on and at about half distance both front tyres blew, crawled to the pits. At around lap 30 the brakes failed even though they where max size, max cooling duct and I had not been hard braking, even lifting off the throttle before braking.

It was fun and exciting, I need to say that I was worried about the start but I didn't see any great trouble there. I became sad when my DFR engine shut off suddenly at 7th lap, may pace was slow but safe. Anyway i'm waiting for Portuguese GP.

Crazy first two laps :X...
Don't know what happened to Czesariusz or Pascal. Some car went flying my way as I tried to pussy my way around Ascari.
Race pace was....well...shit since I didn't prepare.
I tried to keep it on the track.
It all went downwards from there.
Great podcast. Great people. It was fun anyways.
Looking forward to to upcoming tracks.

Standings have been updated:
My own race was the usual mess. I started preparing quite late (never a good idea) but I managed find a decent qualifying setup, and race pace was actually very good. I went from 7th to 4th by the first chicane, and that was where to good news stopped. On the second lapped I missed my brake marker on the start/finish straight and spun into the gravel. Luckily I didn't hit the barriers so I set off to regain places. I made it back to 7th, with Dave and Alberto in sight. Dave then spun in the pits, giving my 6th place, but I never got to 6th because I did just the same. I went a bit further than him through, and ripped a wheel off which ended my race.
As far as lousy retirements go, this one ranks quite highly.
Well done to Anders on doing where I failed a few years ago: bringing the Benetton over the line in first. My teammate did a good job too, couldn't get closer in my attempt to catch him.

Unfortunately for me, I had a small itch that I, in the end, coudln't ignore so I started trying to get to grips with Monza for the umptienth time in my sim-racing life, picking the Larrouse as it was the car I had had the most experience with among the cars that was still available. Spent an hour trying to get the car to behave on low wings, something I had failed to do at Hockenheim and can't really say that I succeded with here. Joined the server and somehow set a 1,36,3 or something like that, only 0.6 of a second slower than John, which I have to say that I was happy with at the time. Sadly I never managed to get anywhere close to that lap time again during the evening. Race: I started very cautiously, mindful that the tires were colder than stone cold by the time we'd reach the Retefilo. That cautiousness continued all along the opening lap and by the end of it I was up to 16th place with a couple of seconds gap both to cars in front and cars behind. From there on it was a relatively lonely race, only time I had cars around me for an extended amount of time was when I put a lap on Timo and when Bruno cought up to me and I couldn't do much to keep him behind due to the difference in machinery. So..... A lot of spins and halfspins but somehow survived... At least I finished and in 8th. Now onto finer and better things, Pocono in the broadcast booth next week and then Portugal, either in a car or in the booth Congratulations to all who finished and Anders especially for a blinder of a consistent drive.

Great to be back racing again . And to start it off with a victory feels even better . Its been a rocky road to get there, thru the nimble but ohh so down on power AGS. Point scoring race at Monaco in the heavy but lovely sounding Ligier. Discbraking Larrouse at Montreal the fisty screaming engine cocking Minardi And now the Benetton . Cu all at Estoril Great job with broadcast and in the booth

Great race Alberto Iquino! Was difficult to catch you, and stressfull to stay ahead of you! Alberto Sr must've wired the inside of my crash helmet, because he seemed to know my every thought during the broadcast Had a major confidence zapping mistake at the Parabolica early on, but luckily survived and finished pretty much where I hoped I would before the race began. Big Congrats to Yoda Nillson Sorry to see so many DNFs. This track always appears to be one of the friendliest, then it bites your face

congrats to anders for a solid race. after the initial chaos of the start, had a very good race, no mistakes, but still couldn't match anders' pace or consistency. very smooth! wasn't a big fan of monza going in, but after testing really found a new appreciation of how much can be gained or lost by very subtle adjustments (both to car and driving). more to it than just long straights interrupted by a few chicanes. that said, i'm still looking forward to the added twists to the following tracks.
and lastly.... *edited since pascal removed his post*

Went from 14th to 6th on lap one, car felt good was able to push, had a great fight with Dave then Pascal, up to 4th pitted still 4th car felt even better, then disaster I just happened to glance at my hud a the very same time I should have braked for Ascari.
Car wrecked and so was a good result, gutted.
Well done to Anders and my new teammate David.

Disco outta nowhere. I was using Streamlabs OBS, but I haven't suffered a disco before. What else could I do to minimise a disco? Maybe also use that whisper trick? Might have found a possible answer to the disco reason. I had my PC not turned off fully since the day before, so maybe the occupied RAM space piled on, enough with 16 GB RAM for a slight hiccup that caused me to lose connection. I should've at least restarted my PC before the event to eliminate that possibility
