Appologise for the late posting of the Event Thread.
Richard, as head admin for the series, lost track and when I wasked yesterday he said he'd take care of it tomorrow, thinking the event was next week.
But now it's posted.

I may or may not be there. I'm not sure. If things go as planned, I won't be, but if the wife has other plans, I will be there.... LOL...
Also, I'm getting .srs mismatch and being kicked form the server. I see an update link posted, but it just takes me to the filedropper site there's nothing there...

That's strange...
I'll have a chat with Richard about it and see if he knows what is causing that. It may again be our server needing an update but I'll ask him and come back to you as soon as I can.

EDIT 1: Uploading the fix to a different location as I write. It should be available within a few minutes dependent on how nice my upload speed decides to be.

EDIT 2: The updated link has been added to the opening post, please let me know if the problem presists and we'll look into it further.

Big thank you to everyone who showed up and for making this a fun event despite the somewhat lackluster turn-out.

Jonatan, sorry for not responding on the track.. I was watching football, it was very intense... thanks for taking this race over.. really great cars for driving, and I love this track very much too... I was complete moron in race 1, forgot that setups are locked, my brakes melted with duct 1, nothing I could do very, very fun!

I didn't even realize there was a race today.😕 We do apologise that we didn't get the thread up sooner than Friday evening (I think we got it up). Neither me nor Richard had full memory of the race being yesterday.

Even with the small grid, that was fun. Spent most of the time battling with Ray and Raul. Unfortunately about all I could do was hassle them both and hope for mistakes because I just wasn't getting good exits and couldn't find that little extra needed to actually successfully overtake. Entertaining, at times trying to fit 2 and even 3 wide into some of the tighter bends at this course...lol lol.
Thanks for hosting, Jonatan.
Hopefully numbers will go back up for the final races. Fun combo and the night race aspect will change it up a bit.

Yep it was fun. I didn't like the track to start with but it grew on me as time went on. I'm not sure if it was brake fade or brain fade at the hairpin in the second race as ran wide twice allowing cars to overtake. 30 points from the races is ok but I think that Austin is still safe in the points table unless he doesn't turn up again. I'll be looking to maintain my second place in the points at the final races.

Little Al and me are out on weekends during summer time, but we will be back in september. Not that we add much to the competition though, LOL
