Dunno about the right rear wheel, can't see that looking forward, but the front wheel was fully on the curb, not even touching the grass and that's already enough for a warning? Most curious...
To be more precise, i've made far more liberal use of the curbs without lifting last week and got away with it, only some real harsh cut-offs that included the area behind the curb got sanctioned, but here I'm rolling on the curb pretty normally accelerating out of a corner, neither sliding nor having the rear hang out wide, and get a track warning having barely been on the curb? I'd like to understand what triggers such a warning. I don't agree its just a matter of lifting or not, because then I must have fetched a few more warnings at the 'Ring.

We need more info than just "Wheel on a a kerb". Which kerb and photos too preferably please. But if it gives a warning to you, it will to everyone. So just avoid excessive use of the kerbs people. Same as we had to at Portland a few years back.

Ditto, use the replay feature when you get a warning and take a screenshot from above-behind. I'm open to tweaking that if the warning is indeed incorrect, but certainly not if people just want to abuse the kerbs. In the real race they were not climbing on them.

That's the maximum I got to the outside, but I got that warning earlier, but I can't pin down the exact moment in the replay.
Confused me enough I crashed the car in the next corner...

I see that you are using low detail textures and thus getting zebra stripes, is anybody else also? We can easily give you a patch with optional textures that will be blurry in the distance but eliminate those zebra stripes in the road.
As for the kerb ... I'm sorry to say that if your right wheels even go past the dark line that is about 1/4 into the kerb, you are deservedly getting a warning there.

So the no touch area starts where exactly?

The edge of the kerb, don't go over the top of it as you did in the picture.
Touching the kerb isn't the best idea here anyway.

Correct Mike, thanks. But as Richard says, ideally stay completely off the kerb.

Just a note for you all:
If you enter the escape road at the Bus Stop chicane, you must come to a complete stop before re-joining the racing surface. All re-joins must be in a safe manner. Any caught not stopping will be subject to post race penalties.
Thank you.

Sadly have to pass on racing tonight. Twisted my right thumb recently and I've felt under the radar since yesterday evening, not feeling good enough still Thanks for letting us know. If anyone wants to try the Arrows, go ahead, first come first serve. But be warned, if we feel you are too slow or unsafe, we will stop you from starting the race.

Ended up jumping into David's vacated Arrows...
Was too late into the race with food needed to be eaten so softened the car up too much resulting in it bottoming out up the hill between Eau Rouge and Radillon. Car gave up the steering on L3 going up the hill, clambered over the outside cerb on the exit and I flew into the barriers. One of those "I'm happy it's sim-racing" moments...
Was fun while it lasted though, best of luck to the remaining drivers.

Engine let out again! I don’t understand this. I set my gearing to be kind to it and it still let’s go..

Oh dear, I'm really ... dunno what to say.
36 laps completed and everything looked good so far, and then with approximately 6 laps left, I got a tiny bit to far on the inside of Pouhon, got on the inside curb which levered out the front, into the gravel, lost the front wing at the barrier, crawled back on the track, and with traffic approaching from the rear, I got a bit distracted, braked to late, even though I was really careful and slow, I hit the barrier a second time going into Fagnes this time breaking my suspension. Oh dear, oh dear...
Until then, everything looked pretty good, I did careful engine life management, and a few cars breaking down reminded me to not use to much boost, temps looked fine, I had passed my team mate early and the remaining Minardi under control. Friday I found the sweet spot of ride height and rake, and from then, the car really worked nicely. Still a handful to drive, especially when cranking up the boost, but it was sort of stable and became survivable. A few suspension tweaks yesterday, getting the setup closer to defaults again, careful gearing made to find the right compromise between not revving to high, but also not choking the car in fifth, and a test yesterday that was promising I could make the distance. I had myself worked up to 14th position, but the Osella remains a car with a razer thin limit between the car working well and falling of on one side or another. I enjoyed it while it lasted, but now I'm gonna cry into my pillow again...

Started race fine.. saving fuel.. okay, raise boost... wait... what? it's not mapped? Damn automobilista!!!
Oh well... it was more or less in the right spot to begin with...
Did some overtakes at Kemmel straight due to top speed and i could go through eau rouge and Raidillon flatout...
Did some fighting with Jules... i overtook him, i made a mistake at La Source, he overtook me, i overtake him at Les Combes...
All going fine.. untill i hit the rumble strips at the outside... car went airborne.. race over... grrrrr

Had a cautious start as I expected some incidents...
Anyway, had a nice tussle with Kayo for a bit. But most of the race I just tried to take care of the engine temps. The medium tires did well to last half the race distance. Just happy to finish at all.

Fifth race, fifth points finish, but that's just about everything worth mentioning.
In qualifying, I had a few okay laps. On my third attempt, I'm eight tenths up, good enough for Row 1... until I ran wide. Sixth it was. Still, that's okay considering how little my engine is suited to qualifying, and a few others had the courtesy of also underperforming so I wasn't too far back.
Onto the race then. Again a track where my McLaren should have the upper hand on fuel consumption. That's usually the death threat to my chances.
I started cautiously and retained sixth. After passing Richard Wilks, Vadim Taciak at la Source I was up to third. Tim Hille unfortunately retired, and I was second. I then set off to catch Coxon. I got close, but never close enough.
Coxon pitted, I immediately followed. Coxon left... and I was stuck for another 6-7 seconds, while Gabriele Del Piccolo and Dave Miller passed. I think I need a word with my pit crew. Sure, they were quicker than they were at Monaco, but still they managed to lose me two places.
However, judging by Gabriele's pace, he'd have caught me anyway. At this point I started doubting my setup. When Dave Miller just ran away from me, I knew I had got it wrong. While my car was excellent with a full tank, it wasn't good enough once the fuel dropped off. Comfortable to drive yes, but lacking speed.
Dave proved too quick for me and I had to settle for fourth. Still, it's points, and up still equal third in the standings. Well done to Richard for winning, it's about time that red thing held together for an entire race.

Yeah, one more checkered flag for Minardi. At Qualifing I could challenge Brabham and Arrows, but at race I manage to keep up the engine reliability and the tire temps, and mainly avoid driving errors like off-tracks scapes. I had a good fight with my teammate (quicker at straigth). It's always positive finish the Grand Prix.

I qualified about where I expected 11th, there was no way that I could near Vadim's time, I don't know how he did that time, for me I couldn't trust the rear end if I pushed the car hard the rear would become lose. But congrats on that time Vadim. I started the race steadily around the first corner to find someone spinning in front of me, lost the front wing and suspension damage therefore at the end of the first lap I had to pit for repairs although the suspension wasn't fixed, down to last position and 35 seconds behind anyone. Then it was just drive around on low boost until the end of the race. I was hoping to not make another pitstop but the tyres wore out and I had to stop. At the end of the race I turned the boost up and lapped 4 seconds faster than previously. Well done Richard on the win. Thanks for the broadcast. The AGS was going well.

Was a Good Fun Race today. Had a Nightmare of a qualifying session, just couldn't get the car to behave nicely in qual trim at all, so best I could do was only 12th. Race trim was much nicer so I was able to make up quite a few positions early on, managed to set the car up so I didn't need to do any lift and coast so that helped a lot at the end of the Kemmel straight. Had no answer to Richard and Gabrielle today, well done to both of them for excellent drives, Juha gave me a good run all through the race as well. Really Unlucky for Tim, long overdue some good luck in the Lotus. Canada should be a very interesting race, making fuel, engines and brakes last the distance will certainly be a challenge, but as always I look forward to it

Well i definitely payed the price for less practice time on this one. Not that i think i could challenge my teammate around here, he was showing what a good drive and the car could do! Qualy was full of incidents, and the race was uneventfull, except for me running off the track at one point, with no bearing on the end result, basically dictated by pace (of lack of) and massive fuel consumption. At least the car was nice to drive on worn tires Congrats to all the finishers, and to those that had bad luck, i am sure they will bounce back

Really enjoyed calling this race along with Jason and Alberto at one of my favorite tracks. Congratulations to the podium finishers and everyone else that finished the race.
Big congratulations to Richard Coxon on the win and had a feeling it was only a matter of time. Looking forward to another of my favorite tracks that is Montreal where drivers will have to look after their brakes.
