Can I swap to the #85 please? Having now tried the Mclaren finding it almost impossible to drive as it flips over if it get even slightly sideways in the short chutes or in the transition off of turn 4, other cars seem to be abit more forgiving before flipping. Sorry, Alan. The rules don't allow one-off drivers to switch cars once they've made a choice.

Does anyone have any suggestions of things I can try with the setup or racing lines to stop the car flipping over? Tried a few different approaches with no luck so far.

Since no one else chimed in, perhaps make the car so it understeers so that there is less chance of it snapping and the tail stepping out.

Hi, if anyone would like to swap for an earler slot (19:40-19:45), I'd be happy to take anything after 21:00 CEST.

I'll swap with you Cezariusz, I've got the 22h05 slot (which will be closer to 21h45 once the empty cars are removed).

Hello all. I'm sorry especially to the admins for giving notice of situation so sudden so close, however I'm feeling ill after vaccine jab and therefore not in minimum conditions to participate on the trials. I really didn't connect the dots that being vaccinated on Friday would give me a tough weekend.
So I'm OK on releasing my car if someone is interested on trying to qualify it and race

A NEW PATCH WAS RELEASED TO ADDRESS THE REPORTED ISSUES
On safety grounds, we decided to release a patch that combines the previous ones, and adresses the issues recently reported. Changes in setups should be minimal

The Time Trials timetable has been updated, with the free cars moved to the back of the qualifying order. Any driver selecting one of these cars will have to take the timeslot listed in the timetable.
Cars not selected will be removed from the timetable by the start of the Time Trials.
Drivers not completing their runs due to crashes of wave-offs will automatically be added to the next available timeslot.

Curious, I now find it hard to make it safely around the track The changes only make the cars a bit more stable aero wise when they get sideways, it's really a small tad but suffices to prevent the lift that was being generated when getting angled (And caused the roll-over). Total downforce and all the rest remain the same, you just need to adjust again to the new limit.

Although feels like the opposite to me, but I know not all cars effected the same

It seems a little looser than before, got that fixed, but I certainly miss a few tenths now.
A few of you peeps better step up their game to keep me off the grid. Unless you want me to pay you a nightly visit...

You probably need now less front wing than before, that's what you are feeling. To rebalance the car after the change, the bias of aero was moved forward.
