I hope we get a serious attempt this time and not a withdrawal after a few laps. Thanks for jinxing me Richard. Game froze on the session change and I couldn't do anything but kind of making my game crash, by which time the event was over for me. So I couldn't even write in chat to restart for me I tried my hardest to wrestle my car to a good Q place, but I guess fate once again said nope.

Sadly for me, an unexpected stack-up at Clark (Which I still can't understand how a stack-up can occure there) along with distractions from TS chat, saw me lose my front wing against Jules' car, sorry for that mate, I hope you still get a good race in here.
My event ended 7 laps in, had just passed Alan, looked down to check gap to next car, looked up and was slightly off trajectory, nudged the grass going towards Dingle Dell and slid off, knocking the front left off. Knew as soon as I touched the grass that my race was over, that's how well I know the track and I make that kind of school boy error...
I'm extremely dissapointed so won't join the broadcast for this one. I hope all participants gets a good event here.
Sorry for your non-starts Cezariusz and David.

I tried my best to be out of the way for guys. If I screwed someone's race, my sincere apologies. I was trying to make sure engine wouldn't burn as well.
David Sabre, I'm sorry if I was wrongly slow on the inside, I was just letting cars go due to Blue Flags. From the crash I got rear left tyre punctured and it would be awful to return to pits from main straight.
Still, great experience to race today and I have lots of work ahead as pace was awful

Too many mistakes from me. Made one silly mistake after another. Pleased to see a Brit win the British GP, well done mate. Well done to Wilks getting on the podium too, and well done to Vadim. Another solid drive. Well done to Anders dragging the car into the points a great drive.
But I think the politics behind the scenes are starting to affect our performance. (Ferrari and Politics go hand in hand). Hopefully the stars align and we can recapture some form at Hockenheim.
Fantastic job Jason and Alberto, really enjoyed the broadcast.

One more time I was bringing the Minardi then this Chitti engine threw away one more pair of pistons. Dreschsler took another Minardi until the end, I think about requesting back my old #24... Let's go to the Dark Forest...

I had to take evasive action to avoid hitting David Sabre there. Just one of those things. I really don't like this track so today was always going to be tough. I had a better start than I expected but then had the contact at Graham Hill Bend. So then the rest of the race was run with the damaged LR suspension. I did zero practice laps in race conditions so I guess 12th is alright with the horrible handling car. Sorry for holding you up a bit Dave M., didn't intend to do that after you had that spin but that part of the track is difficult to to let someone by.

I qualified about where I thought that I would in 11th. I could have got a bit more out of the car but it wouldn't have made much difference to my grid position. I made a mess of the start as the car bogged down and I lost four places. Tapped someone going into Surtees as car backed up (sorry). A few spins and avoiding spins during the next few laps as I tried to get a few places back. The car felt great in the race and it should have been much higher up the field. After a good safe pitstop I re-joined about 8 seconds behind Ray Riddall and I managed to close that gap down and then had a great battle with Ray trying to overtake him and every time I did I made a mistake and Ray was back through, it was fun but hard work. Towards the end of the race Ray got back in front and with only one lap left to go I backed off to let Grant lap me and save having to do another lap as fuel was tight. Hard work to finish 9th. Congratulations Grant for the win, Richard for 2nd, and Vadim 3rd for Tyrrell . Thanks for the broadcast I'll watch it soon.

Phew, not a great race, but at least a finish, but there was a bit more in it.
First of all, Brands Hatch is definitely not my favourite track. To narrow, both track width and layout, to many off camber corners, these in combination with the elevation changes, I always have a hard time to find something like balance in the car. If the front starts to run to the outside long before you reach the apex, something major is wrong. It wasn't before friday late evening I was able to straighten the car out so it wouldn't burn my front tires. A successful endurance test yesterday showed I was working in the right direction. So when I came home today, I cobble together something for the qualifying, managed a 1:12.3 offline, my best laptime around here, that was okay. Well, on to Q...
...I had to abort the first attempt, as my laptime was suspended. The second attempt was okay, but there was still lot to be desired. Time for a pizza. Third attempt after dinner, I was not really in the right rhythm, so I aborted that run, too, after having already lost over a second. Fourth time's a charme, I got a good run, could shave a good junk of my time and ended up in 22nd, a bit off my PB, but I improved my position.
I did some last minute changes to the setup I worked up yesterday, and it seemed like the right things. Balance was fine, tire temperature even, I felt well prepared.
Start was okay, that free spot ahead of me didn't hurt, I passed the first victims, the faster cars behind me passed me quickly, but that was not unexpected. But then, I quickly went backwards, cars I had under control before passed me left and right. Hm. maybe a bit to much wings for the race, but I also couldn't really keep up afterwards. And when the time came and the leaders came up to me for the first time, I made a fool of myself and let both Brabhams by without any resistance. D'oh! And they both pulled away from me, not good, but I wasn't willing to crank up the boost, yet, I still wanted to have some spare change for later.
Unfortunately, being lapped really does hurt at Brands, one is always in the wrong place, and one can quickly loose a few seconds at once. So I kept trotting along, made my pitstop at some point, that was a slow one, and I really put myself out of the rhythm before, because I forgot to switch the light on in my room, so I wouldn't see the letters on my keyboard. Unbelievable! When I left the pits, I already had lost a lap to Luciano. Now I slowly increased the boost, but it wouldn't really go forward. Instead, Gabriele quickly closed the gap to me. Trying to put up a fight with him was futile, he was a few seconds per lap faster, but when he ran wide, I took my chance to pass him again and run away. In the end hopeless, but fun, nontheless, Brands needs the cooperation of the car in front to make a pass stick. Gabriele would also quickly bridge the gap to Luciano, but then he was back in the pits, and I think the same manouvre once again later. Anyways, some quick maths showed me I had more than enough fuel in the tank, so I increased the boost further, and then some more. At some point, Luciano was 1.10 minutes away, and Mike was a lap behind me. I decided to try to shorten the gap to Luciano, so I increased my pace, and slowly the gap got under a minute, then under 50 seconds, then 45, then 40, 38, 35, and then, unfortunately, the race was over. Ah well...
So, what was my introduction in the new team like? On the positive, I finished the race, the engine held up, even though I wasn't treating it overly gentle late in the race, and I got a glimpse on the potential of the car. But I was probably to passive, to conservative early in the race running minimal boost, and thus lost a lot of precious time and perhaps a better position.
Next stop: H-Heim, home turf! Special in its own right, another chance to make it better!

2 points on a track which I don't like, elevating me to equal second in the standings, I'll take that!
For the last race without a qualifying package, I set a PB in qualifying and made it into the top 10, lining up alongside Richard Coxon. The track turned out to be cooler than expected, to my advantage as my McLaren loves to overheat its tyres. I could thus fit different tyres which they proved to work really well. By the end of lap 1, I was in 6th, and I soon found a way by Time Hille as well. Towards the halfway point I also overtook a struggling Dave Miller, but I left my stop a few laps too late and Dave was in front again when I got out of the pits. Dave then gifted me 4th by going off. Also in front of me due to a quicker stop was Tim Hill. I tried to catch up but he wasn't having it. Instead I had to back off to save some fuel, allowing Anders Nilsson to close up. He got close, but not close enough. I timed my boost runs well and crossed the line with a car running on fumes and Anders filling my mirrors half a second in arrears.
Well done to the Renault engined finishers in front of me, Grant, Wilks, Vadim and Tim. Glad to you see your efforts rewarded instead of ending up with the usual smoke signals.
And thanks to the drivers I lapped who displayed some very courteous driving at times.

If I had a plan, dont think that was it? Had an early Incident when David Sabre spun ahead of me at Surtees, I held my normal line with caution as his car headed off into grass, but somehow his Gymkhana 180 put him right back on line and at a dead stop Locked up but still hit poor ole David square in the rump and lost my wing. Fun Done! Glad you didnt suffer damage Sabre (even if you deserved it more than me, lol) you're race pace was good! All downhill, and dingle dells from there with at least 2 offs and a spin. Based on the names at fringes of the points, looks like I picked the right round to drive like a lump of slippery wet poop. As there was little to gain, and in the grass is where I belonged! Feeling burnt out too, maybe I over practiced? Congrats GR, Wilks, and Vadim (noice)

I picked up some rear end damage but the car was still handling ok.

That was interesting. Thanks ISO // broadcast team ! ! ! Qualy 3rd. Couldn't extract anything. Track temps were also straight from hell. Ok result - still left a lot to be desired. Race - 3.00 boost all the way. Mediums twice. Start was decent. Miller and Wilks close in the opening laps. I was lifting and coasting most of the time. Fuel consumption was right were it should be. At some point Wilks made a ballsy move into Paddock Hill Bend for P3. I defended but left enough room since I saw it coming. Good one! It was nice to see a good maneuver firsthand, being executed at a difficult corner, with both drivers playing their part ;-). Miller had his unfortunate off which made things a lot easier. Didn't have the nerves to gamble and attack for 2nd since fuel was tight so I kept it clean till the pitstops. I went into the pits BAAAANZAAAAI...and overshot. HARD. Hahahaha. Since I like a challange I also hit the wall exiting as I checked for traffic and bend my steering a good 25ish degrees. Took a lap to adjust to that new feature. 2nd stint then was just about not throwing it away. Sprinkle in a quicker lap here and there. Tim Hille made an excellent charge at the end but I had 1.7 liters left at the chequered flag and could ve responded if I had to. Very happy with 3rd. The GoldenBoy took 1st with style today - you even had time for a 360 combo at some point . Great win Grant! Gratz also to Wilks and specially Hille for a good result. Condolences to all other drivers. This track was not made with the Benetton and the Ferrari in mind ;-). Greetings to everybody who drove a really shitty chassis // engine combo. You are the true heroes enduring this on a sunday on a track that simply is HARD and unforgiving. On to Hockenheim... oh no...!

Wooo! Happy with this one!
Was a great race, car felt solid and comfortable. Soon as Wilks got into 2nd it was game on and was really tough to keep the pace. We were very equal so would have been very interesting if we were closer! Had a very near miss with my 360 spin ( sorry Bruno ) but managed to get back into the rhythm.
Finished with around 5l left in the tank which is around 2 laps worth so was pleased about that! The shrine I’ve built to the engine gods seem to be working too!
Great broadcast and well done Wilks and Vadim and Hille for the results!

Q Didnt expect more 7th Race Got a good start but i couldnt capitalize on it 7th. No way to match the tempo off the guys ahead . Rather lonesome first half race, apart from some laps with pressure of a Benetton that was rather stressed to pass. Decent pitstop 14 sec. Was catching Juha at the end, but he stayed really calm under my pressure. He had the legs on me in the strait. Well driven Juha the best i´ve seen from ya m8, i throw my best at you not a wheel wrong from ya Grats to Grant awesome drive ! Wilks for second and Vadim for third As usual a stellar job in the booth

My race was quite relaxing after I found my rhythm after like 5 laps or so. I was happy to see that my pit crew served me in about 10 seconds, 7 seconds faster than in France. I went for a super safe setup and the car exactly behaved like that through the entire race. Congratulations to the top 3 and everyone else who was happy with his race.
