May I take David's Arrows BMW if he doesn't confirm? -Matt If David doesn't confirm, the car will be made free. Whoever asks first after that time (18:30 CET, 17:30 GMT) today will get the car. So yes of course you'll be allowed it should he not confirm and you ask first. But don't get your hopes up, David has a habit of leaving his conformation until the last minute.. P.S Feel free to practice on the server in the car in the meantime. |

Look like I won't be able to finish the race- I'm pitting around lap 22-24, but when my pitstop is finished the fuel amount drops to 1 liter :/
EDIT: Reinstalled the mod and tried to pit in at the race session- looks to work fine this time.

Look like I won't be able to finish the race- I'm pitting around lap 22-24, but when my pitstop is finished the fuel amount drops to 1 liter :/ EDIT: Reinstalled the mod and tried to pit in at the race session- looks to work fine this time. sounds like it has to do with a setting in the .plr that changes if the crew will "fill to" the amount specified, or "add" the amount specified in the pit menu. im pretty sure in race session the mod forbids any fuel changes so it "should" take care of things. but for practice if on the "fill to" option and make a pit stop it will drain the tank (since the pit menu is locked to 0L).

Just a little note for you all who are racing. When exiting the pits, you must not break the solid white line (Next to the yellow one in the image) You must only join the track when you get to the broken white line. The red arrow indicates the correct route. We will remind you all again during the briefing on Sunday, but I thought the visual may help you in the short term.  
Bump. Another note too, we expect cars to follow the racing track on out laps during qualifying, we don't want to see cars speeding through the escape roads to gain an advantage. Anyone seen doing it without good reason may be dropped to the back of the grid. EDIT: Obviously if you're on an outlap and if a quick car appears behind you on a fast lap, you can enter them. That would be a valid reason. |

It's not that i hate the car but i can't change the differential...
A lot of my setups start with the diff and my driving style is based around it... or more precisely.. built around it...
It feels like i'm handicapped...
And that makes it hard for me to find a setup that works around the diff issue..

There seems to be a contradiction in the rules, first post as it says: "18:30 - Qualifying (1 hour, unlimited laps)" but then the text calls 12 laps in several instances. Can you clarify please? I assume the unlimited laps is the error.

Carbeque approaching the Ostkurve, just as I prepared for my pitstop.  Until then, the race was so-so. First start was wild, and trying to navigate through the carnage, Little Al hit me in the rear, which put the car askew. Not that I didn't expected it. Second start was a bit slow, gotta work on my clutch setup, but that is a different story. I got through the first few laps with few problems, but after the car settled in, I had a bit of trouble entering the Motodrom repeatedly, running wide or spinning. That cost me quite some time and confidence, but after 12 laps or so, I had adapted my driving and was getting into a good groove, keeping the distance to my teammate who was already over a minute ahead of me. So I trotted on, tried to stay out of way of the faster cars and had to deal with the novelty of me lapping slower cars. I'm so totally not used to!  Until it went kaboom in my back...  Did four full distances practicing, and never had an issue with the engine, but then today... Quali was a disaster again, not getting things together again and being 1 1/2 seconds off my personal best... 
At least I reached my goal for today, even though in a completely different way than anticipated: Not being the last car running...  |

A disastrous race for me. Made a mistake, that is all on me. They i started to get a bit annoyed with other competitors as their tactics seemed questionable. So another mistake was made. I then got caught up in another drivers accident, so that lost me 2 laps, was charging through making fuel and started getting into a rhythm. Then Matt S had a minor moment which i got caught up in that one too. Aw well.
But i do want to apologise for my outburst on the broadcast. I hope no offence was caused.
