Without even turning on the steering wheel since the last F1 race, I was rusty. I managed to start well and luckily I didn't get involved in an accident between a Porsche and Miller's Grid S1 (Great start and excellent pace Mr. Miller), but a few laps later I put 2 tires on the grass and had a contact with Mr. Thim who made me spin and lose 2 positions. Ok, the race continues... until a Porsche when putting a lap of advantage touched my rear throwing me off the track, with this waste of time, the Grid S1 passed me and I followed it, but when I got close I made a mistake in T1, making it very difficult to reach the Grid S1, as there were only 3 laps to go. All in all, it was a lot of fun (and tiring), I hope to get back on track before Indy in Texas.

Dead in the first corner of the first lap.. I'm starting from the back because I couldn't get to grips with the car in quali, I get it together in warmup a bit, I decide to run a conservative strategy, 0.80 bar boost, nothing too risky.. Feeling good, getting to the end of the formation lap, rolling start, off we go, starting to overtake the group b cars.. downshift, and... BOOM Engine is gone I'm utterly shattered. My DRM 1984 debut lasted shorter than Mazepins F1 debut, but at least I didn't spin and take anyone out , my car just choked. Not mad, just disappointed. Better luck next time... I hope.

It was quick but as always great racing. The start of the race was a bit tricky, with some Group C cars falling behind slower class. Can't say it was mistake free drive, but this weekend I had a very limited racing hardware so any harder braking was a tricky game. Twice I got close to Anders and Richard but then some error in my driving made the gap a few seconds wider :/ At lap 23 I took the inside line at the Ford-Kurve being just behind Richard's car, stayed close to the apex through the corner, but we touched sides- my apologies for such a surprising move. All I wanted to do at this point was to get alongside you before next downhill and hairpin section of the track. So it wasn't any banzai attack for your position. Anyway I ended up spinning to the inside and hitting the barrier head on So not a good move at all :/ Feel quite surprised and sorry that your car suffered any damage. Hopefully will plan my next overtaking in less surprising way.

Nice to be back, even though it wasn't one of my finest days! My focus was a bit off, but when I got a good lap together it really got together at least.
It didn't happen in qualifying. Did not get a proper lap on qualifying tires in at all, so dropped more than a second on my optimal time. Eventually lined up 10th, but my race preparations had gone well, so felt confident that I could make up ground. I did that on medium tires which got me the track positions early on, then it was all about nursing the car home the last 10 laps. It was a bit of a pain, but 3rd place was all I could expect from this round. Really enjoy these kind of semi sprint races.

Good qualy...
But lock up on the first lap.. and almost took out the entire field... had luck that i didn't hit anyone!!!
But by the time i got out of the gravel trap... i was nearly last and then slowly working my way back up...
Did some overtakes here and there and had a hard time trying to overtake David Sabre but with the Group C cars lapping us...
And then when coming out of the Dunlop corner going into... cut off by a group c car... went straight.. crashed into a wall and lost right front and in the pitlane.. can't repair.. race over...
And then checking the recording... audio settings were all wrong... causing the recording to be very quiet... ofcourse..

How did you get all those fancy spotter messages? Calls you "Dave" etc I think I heard Angel May say "Chacon, Coxon?" Good recovery drive BTW

It is the Crew Chief Plugin, works with most sims thecrewchief.org/forumdisplay.php?28-Download-and-LinksVery Fun race for me, bit of an incident at the start but had fun coming back through. the Grid is not the easiest of cars, really needs more downforce, but it is very fun to drive
