With a set of tires downsized to the car perhaps the Lotus 79 would have looked like this

Between Master David Sabre, Richard Wilks and Alberto Ibanez, is there anyone interested in converting my cars for AMS ?

Unfortunately unless its going to be used here it will be a lot of work which is unlikely to be used anywhere else. 1973 is interesting to me but it would need AMS model standard tyres.

Hi Marie, I'm not sure if you´re aware, but there's an Automobilista discord server as well with lots of guys who I'm sure would be delighted to lend a hand/offer advice on getting your very nice looking cars into AMS, with the proper shaders.
I'll send you an invite to the discord page...

Maybe not so professional, and the smarter folkes here might condemned the use of it. But a simple convertion is easy to do with 'rfactortools' at a click of a button. Used it alot for tracks and mods for personal use. Physics seems to be the same, some coding might not convert at times. The main issues for me always is the need to create the 'series icon' for the mod to appear, since its not a thing in rfactor. Other issues that are common is that force feedback gets reversed (negative is now positive) but thats easy to change just changing the slide in the game menu when racing the mod. And the steering rotation is now fixed is probably missing a coding line and sometimes the sound pathways are wrong in the sfx file, but other than this to me it's often the same mod. rfactortools www.racedepartment.com/downloads/rfactortools.1954/Noooo! Don't use this! It creates a myriad of issues, such as broken sounds, messed up shaders and wonky physics. The conversion tool doesn't translate 1 to 1! Better to learn how to mod the proper way and use encryption scripts on the MASFiles, they can be downloaded at the AMSU discord Salvatore was mentioning.

Looking very good what about the cockpits? Did you also update them?

I always thought that most of the 1977 models were 10% too small, did you rescale them?

I have restored the Team Crew models which are almost always identical in size, while the GPC79 cars have a very variable size. From this I learned well to check the dimensions first of all. This model originally has the dimensions that I consider correct, but however the entire cockpit of the 312T2 '78 was replaced as well as modifying the chassis in the front area which is now closer to the real model. The entire restoration of this model took me over 2 weeks of modifications and checks with period documents.
