Hi guys, a question. Is it possible to flash lights for lapping cars? Or put the lights on while lapping cars as in real life? Yes. Thanks Richard

Sure thing I've noticed that in the past three days since being allowed to join the #34 team, my name hasn't appeared on the OP Entry List yet while it was updated afterwards with ppl confirming attendance and withdrawing etc. - what's the issue? I interpret the "Sure thing" message from Alberto as a confirmation that I'm entered in the #34 beside Matt or am I mistaken here?

You're racing, we're just super busy with a host of things and it probably got overlooked. Sorry, corrected now.

Hi guys, a question. Is it possible to flash lights for lapping cars? Or put the lights on while lapping cars as in real life? Just don't do it too much as it can get annoying when you are driving a much slower car. Remember that we also have our own race.

this is confusing. It is now 18:11 in Sweden, which means the same as in Paris, and qualifying has not started yet. What times are we going with?

All launched now. Sorry for the delays. Qualifying will only be 30 mins so that your race starts on time.

when being lapped just drive a consistent line, the faster car will find a way around. if you move early and let someone by great. if you move at the last second and the faster car is already making a pass results in an accident.
if you spin on track, you have to make sure it is CLEAR before proceeding. other cars are trying to avoid, if you start to move it makes it more risky, and a potential accident.

I know, sorry David. I'm afraid, after the crash I just hope that you had possibility to repair. Very sorry to saw after some laps you was retired. My race was not lucky I go long at Tosa and was hitten hard in the sand by another M1. I try to go out from sand and also if I wait many laps seams that the temperature of oil and water don't goes down, also if I turn down the engine.

The CK5 is barely drivable here. Makes the Ford and of course the 956 seem like a dream to drive.
Held on as long as possible, reached 9th before pit stop and came out in 11th. The car drifted just a centimeter too much and the LR clipped the tire in a chicane.

I had no real practice but a very nice setup - big thanks to my teammate @ Joest. Kinda failed at the formation lap - sorry. Blasted past everybody in front accidently after the green lights. Was safely in P3 - then the lack of practice and personal curiostity kicked in. Overdriving here and there, spun twice on some bullshit mistakes and lastly just overcooked Piratella and hit the wall hard. Gave up.
I like these cars very much, I sometimes just don´t understand ´em at all. Specially on the brakes. Thanks for the season.

WD to those that finished. Was fun and will look forward to events in the future, especially DRM 1978 where we can run full boost without remorse.

Looks like I've still got some in me.
Start was typically chaotic, nothing new. Tbh I wasn't sure why everyone immediately rocketed past me at full boost knowing we have to make at least 33 laps per stint, but hey, I'm not here to judge.
Not sure what happened in turn 2, the rear end just got around. Glad nobody hit me or vice versa.
Other than that, good race for the #34 car. Matt's pace wasn't quite up to it, but when you drive with a controller, there's just some differences to deal with. No problem. He got it to the second pit stop without damage and without making a mistake, so that's where I could take over.
We stretched out our fuel enough so I could push for a few laps. Good stuff, especially because I got fastest lap as well, on worn tires, with an engine that was as close to blowing up as ever. Gotta love those 956s.

That was a good one. I maximized my result, I barely made any mistakes after lap 5 (overshoot the last chicane on lap 1, and stalled in Aqua Minerale early on, that was it), I ran within my fuel numbers easily. It is a bit annoying that I am so far off Jundt's and Jaques' ultimate pace with these cars (congrats guys, super job in this legendary car), it can't only be explained with them running an alternative strategy, but I'm still very pleased with my effort here. I think I ended up 3rd in the standings also, which is far and away more than I expected, this was supposed to be a side-gig for me! As I said, I really maximized my results with in this championship.
Yes, gotta love those 956s.

I had almost no time for practicing. I just learned to handle the car for good at a practice before qualifying. I just though that, because I do not know how to handle the car properly, I had to use a very low boost strategy. However, since I noticed that everybody was going away and even the BMW were getting closer, I realised that I need extra boost.
Everything was ok, then I decided to try to push a bit to recover margin (lap 7). what happened next is that I ran a bit wide at Piratella and... this was the end of the race.
I really wished to race more. The intention was to gain confidence and experience at the 956, but, this is it.
Really disappointing, but this is life.
I really wish to drive those cars once again.
Thank you for the company at this race, folks!

Hi to all. My first time with a competitive car and I enjoyed like a child. The qualy was strange, I was following Jules at Tamburello and suddenly he was outside the track in the grass so so I accelerated the car to pass him and in the blink of an eye, he was ahead of me, hitting his tail (sorry for that Jules). A lot of time to repair the car and I was anxious because I knew I could get the pole. I also knew that I only was going to have one attempt and as in real life pole for Lancia, my first pole in ISO (Thanks for let me take the Lancia) The race it was going to be another history, a long long race in an amazing track. The start was good, and I was on a 2 stops strategy with a pace of 49 low and 48 high with a fuel consumption of 3,0 so I decided don't take excessive risks. I let the leaders pass and make my race, but unfortunately I let my phone beside the wheel with sound (a rookie error) and the landlord called me, I called my wife while the phone was annoying me and I lost my concentration and hit the barrier going to pitlane repair the car and lost many many positions. It was time to recovery positions, but in a overtake to Jonatan Acerclinth in tamburello a misunderstanding, made me hit him lightly (So sorry mate my apologies). At this time I was 7th and again a desktop error, and again I don't know why, finishing my race. Congrats to David and Cezariusz , and also to all who participated this race, amazing mod, track and people See you soon

Thank you for the great championship My biggest simracing dream has come true. I won a championship at ISO I always wanted to follow small steps in racing, faster categories after slower ones, so I decided to stay at the DRM B class champioship until the end, despite my favorite Porsche CK5 became available at one moment. Finally (after 2 years of trying ) I started to understandd how mr. Wilks physics and tyre model works and get some ideas what driving style works better than before. If you asked me 20 years ago if I will be cometitive simracer at the age of 42 I would laugh and say "Definietly- no !", but this result proves otherwise ^^ Thank you again for making such a great place for racing and see you in the upcoming season and series
