I think I'm gonna have to pull my entry. I'm not feeling well and the car is a handful. Hope everyone has a safe race.

First Oval racing in years. Fun. Car was a gem to drive (thanks).
The yellow made it impossible to challange for more then P5.
Thanks ISO.
Edit: Sorry for the nudge J.Frederiksson

Still can't get the car set up to not cook the RF. But when it was cool enough the car handled very well, which is promising for the last two races. Sorry if I held anyone up too long. Car was a handful.

Firstly and Most Importantly, THANK YOU! to CC, I wouldn't have been up as far as I was and lasted as long as I did without that Last minute setup you sent me. I'd forgotten you switched over to the Parnelli during the season and thought I was screwed as far as a setup.
This track with these cars, to me, is a lot like Martinsville in a Cup Car. If I try to drive fast, I usually end up all over the place and slow. But when I calm down and take it easy, the leading cars start to come back to me. Doing that, I was able to run around for a good, solid 50 laps. RF tire was heating up but I was able to keep it within 10 degrees of the rear, which is way better than the 30 and 40 degree difference in practice with my own setup.
I got under Coxon in 1 and 2 on Lap 50 and got back on the gas a little too hard and spun into the sand, kept it going and got back on the track and was in 3 and 4 with dirty tires and in the wrong gear and it just stepped out on me and I ended up in the grandstands. Was having a lot more fun than I had originally thought I would.
Apologies to Jason Whited, I didn't mean to clip your rear early on, I mistimed my move left. It turned my front wing yellow, so I assume it did the same to you on the back.
On to Great Britain, these should be fun, especially Silverstone!

Phew, exhausting one...
...qualified in 12th, which was probably more than the car was good for, though I left a little something on the track. The car was capable of at least 3/10 of a second faster.
The race itself on the other hand was a different story. The good thing was I had a little to play with compared to the last two races, but getting the car into a decent balance was another thing. Extremely loose with cold tires, fine if the difference in temperature was below 5 degrees, but keeping the front right from running away was an ordeal, especially with a few guys really pushing hard from behind, so I was soon busy with keeping out of the way of faster cars, keeping my lines shut for my competition and hauling that increasingly more ill handling thing around the track. Somehow. Simon Wattman gave me a real run for my money early on, but then dropped out. Then I could concentrate on getting closer to the car ahead of me and was indeed able to shorten the gap to David, as I could give my right front a little rest, but at some point, I understeered into the wall of T3, and that was a hard one. I pitted a bit later than anticipated, but still to early: Right when I came to a halt, a yellow was thrown. That cost me a position, and while the first half of the race was a relatively disciplined one, the restart was really, with two cars tagging my rear and one of them spinning right behind me in the middle of everyone. Jeez! That chaos cost got me a little, I couldn't stick to Davids wing and Luciano could pass me. I had him under control in the first half of the race, but in the second half, he was clearly faster. As things leveled a bit out, I could finally fetch David and was back in 12th again, and that was all. Happy to have finished, and I certainly enjoyed this one more than the last two outings. Lets see what the last two outings bring

Unexpected P6 for me! I'd participated in a 24hr Nurburgring race yesterday and deep into the night. Needless to say I woke up quite sore this morning and seriously considered not doing this race. But LVT race I'd signed in but had to back out last minute and I didn't want to repeat that two weeks in a row. So I sucked it up and joined the practice server with 25 mins or so to prep. Luckily for me, I checked my saved setups and realized I had previously worked up a short track setup for this car, applied it, made a few tiny changes and it was just hooked up. I didn't feel like it was fast but didn't care. My main concern (because it's been issue for me in this series) was fuel burn, but quickly checking that I realized I could stay within the limits, provided I kept an eye on it. P15 quali was good enough. Just wanted to see where I'd fall into line and just relax (though, I don't think the relaxing part quite happened! lol) Right away I realized the car was really good entry through mid corner. Didn't quite have the power to pull up to most on exits, but the mid corner ability to just drive it down to the apron was sweet I brushed the wall somewhere along the way, maybe about lap 40 or so. Slight bit of damage on the right side of the car and I started to worry about the balance. It felt ok, but I've often had that exact thought just seconds before disaster. I paid some attention to it for a few laps but then started to forget it happened because the car felt fine. Shortly after, as Fitch said, he got into me a bit when trying to get under me into a corner (no worries Fitch, it didn't cause me any issues. Though, I did curse a bit...mostly because it got me a bit loose and in a moment I wasn't really expecting it) Pit time came and then I made a mistake I thought was the end. I'd reconfigured some buttons recently and buttons to move my pit menu stuffs was missing ....searched around the button box a minute and finally found it. But in the bit of chaos I somehow screwed up and opted to take left side tires and keep the rights. I did not think the tires would last at that point and was cursing myself for the stupid mistake. The moment I left the pits the caution came. I spent the whole time considering coming in to fix the tire mistake. But I was afraid I wouldn't be able to work back through the pack if I did, so in the end I decided to risk it. In the end, I didn't have anything to lose really, anyways. It got slippery towards the end and I had a few heart beaters. But overall it was ok and the worn tires performed better than I thought they would. It was probably a good thing I was running high wings, else it'd have been a different beast all together I'd imagine. I'll definitely take it, considering I didn't have a bit of practice time this week. I wasn't expecting much, but am happy I pulled it together and showed up. Pretty fun race. Grats on the championship, Jacques! And, as always, big thanks our hosts here at ISO... Another great broadcast from Jonatan and Alberto. Thanks, you guys, and good show!

Finally had some time to share my thought about this race. First of all my big apologies to David Jacques- shutting the doors like I did on you when at exit of T4 at lap 114 wasn't my intention in any way. I was pretty sure that I can pull away slightly at the corner exit due to Cossie power, but this time got a lil too optimistic in this matter. As on any short track I feel like should put more downforce for the race setup- speed and corner speed is important as in any race, but you can't do much with those two when your tyres overheats after just a few laps

no worries, was some close racing. you were able to clear me a couple times previously, but that time i was able to get further along side. i thought it was going to be game over, but luckily the contact for my car wasn't too severe, unfortunately, it looks like it hindered your car quite a bit.
i hope what i did doesn't seem too aggressive. i understand that in modern f1 rules it would be completely frowned upon; lead car gets to dictate line right to edge of track (perfectly exampled by the last f1 race). compared to american oval standards where significant overlap is enough to be deserving of racing room.
tires were certainly the limiting factor, i think for everyone. the closer the balance of the car is to neutral the better the tire temp spread front to rear. not sure if there is anything else that could be done, just tune the balance as close to neutral as possible.
