I can't get to grips with the gearbox, it behaves differently online
When I come to the braking zone and start downshifting the engine just drops all rpms and the gear won't shift, then suddenly it drops several gears. No matter how slow I do it, it seems to stay in neutral and suddenly drop all gears, which makes me spin.

You need to blip on downshifts and from what I saw you was braking too late for T1 and locking the rears.

Decided to park it. Over a minute down to the next car, stuck behind a car that is slower than me, but has a lap advantage and nothing to win or loose, my tension was gone. Two effed up races that began with a slow start and a spin early on. In race 1, I tried my luck passing a car on the outside line of Signes and that clearly didn't work out. Not unexpected, just what you get for impatience. I set off to make up the lost time and could quickly get to the end of the group ahead of me. My car worked reasonably well, I could make up some positions, had a fun battle with Jason White in the middle of the lapping traffic. Unfortunately, two faster cars right ahead of me tangled up and trying to avoid them, I spun out. Trying to get off the line, I quickly put in first and tried to get off the track, but got right in the way of Cezariusz. Apologies for that! Time to quit.
Qualifying for Race to brought me an improvement in time, but not in position. Meh...
...start was bad again, and to add insult to injury, I lost it again in Signes, this time on my own, the tires were still to cold to make it in that speed and the rear spun off. Great, last, again! So I started my chase again, but being slightly more stretched out, it took me some more time to fetch the end of the field, gained some positions, but was certainly a bit above my limit. When I tried to chase Jules, I just could avoid a spin at Beausset, but at the price of having flatspottet my tires. I tried to continue nontheless, but got in a second half spin and then a third, and by then the whole thing was undrivable. I went to the pits for just new tires and only new tires, and even though I advised not to add any fuel, I got plenty of it, god knows why! At least the bloody thing wasn't shaking anymore, but that extra fuel did't really help. I wasn't sure if I was to continue or not, my motivation was gone, but for the time being, I resumed. But I had another incident at Beausset, Jules put a lap on me, and soon, I was two laps down on the leaders, over a minute behind Christian and just couldn't go my rhythm. So that little bit what was left of my motivation left me alone in my room, so I decided to end it. Not sure if I've overdriven the car in the end, but what was actually a nice handling setup turned out to be very peaky in the end, and much more so in Race 2 than Race 1. I certainly enjoyed the car, but not the races...
I really enjoyed myself last night and I forgot how much fun the BMW can be. Happy with two 3rd place finishes and 3rd in the aggregate results as my practice time was limited and it was pretty much arrive and drive last night.
Good fun battling John in race 1 for 3rd and I did notice his tyres were going off as he was sliding around a lot so decided to wait until he made a mistake to pounce and take 3rd towards the end. Congratulations to Anders on winning as well.

Thanks to everyone who showed up, was a nice event.
Great battles with Ruben, i've not had to push that hard in a long time. Great fun. I always enjoy these cars, hopefully we can use them more next season
Congrats to Anders on winning the LVT, sneaking it at the death.

I had a lot of fun last night. In the first qualy I did not manage well the traffic so P2, with an amazing lap from Richard. My start was good with Juha side by side so I braked later to got the position P1. Due to a spin from Juha I had 5 seconds ahead the group, so I decided manage the advantage, but when I was catching the first lapped car, I lost my concentration and I made my first error so I lost all my advantage with Richard. Richard was pushing me hard and catching another lapped car I made other mistake, lossing my position. The same with Anders, great battle mate, but trying to follow him I went into the gravel, so I ruined my race. Then my race was a nightmare. I would like to aplologize with Wilks and Jonathan, I was very agressive due to my frustation, so sorry mates finally P7 and very disapointed with myself.
In the 2nd qualy I managed well the traffic and I got the gap to do my lap so finally P1
A good start and I could hold my position. Richard was my shadow, pushing me hard every lap, the pace was devilish. I could manage a little gap and the I made my first mistake in "Double Droit du Beausset" hitting the curb in an absurd error, losing my position. I tried to follow Richard but he was quicker than me, and in the same curve, the same mistake. P4 but I was very lucky due to spins from Richard and Ryan so finally I finished 2nd, my first podium in ISO
Congrats to Anders, you are like a hammer and Richard, amazing battle mate, you pushed me beyond my limits, you made me sweat mate and thanks to all who participated in this event. Amazing mod, amazing environment, amazing people

Difficult event for me. Didn't practice at all until Saturday and only had time for a few laps. I never really got a feel for the car so it was always gonna be hard to race them. Just pure driving it was fun though.
Had good battles with several others like Porteiro, White, Hackman, Dauger, and a few others I can't remember.
A street circuit with these cars would be very interesting though.

A Macao race isn't a legit Macao race, unless it meets the following criterias:
- a car in the barrier at Lisboa - track blocked at Melco - a serious wreck in Mandarin and finally - a red flag.
I always wondered why no one ever considered doing a Macao GP, neither here nor on that other site, but watching the video, and remembering yesterdays on and especially off-track activity, I remember why. Would appreciate more tin tops, though. Nordschleife in Gr.A cars, anyone?
There’ll be tin tops at the Nordschleife next year, twice. Very fast tin tops, I agree, but what’s not to like about the prospect of racing an E21 320 around there?
As for Macao, it’s an old favourite of mine. I must be one of the few people who actually like the track. I might change my mind if I ever get taken out by a pile-up at Lisboa though.

I think its fun, when you're on your own. Navigating between other cars around Macao can be an ordeal. When Eurosport broadcasted the S2000 and WTCC-races from Macao, I made twice the mistake to get up early to watch the races. In later years, I restricted myself to the recap, because then, they had all the track cleanup time cut out...

There's a weekly motorsport magazin over here, that used to feature a 'picture of the week'. Usually on the Macao weekend, its one from there. One year, they featured that infamous GT3-car that was put on the recovery truck as the marshalls found it: upside down The following year, they featured a motocyclist in full tilt. Shoulder and helmet scrubbing on the armco
