CAR SELECTION
2nd January: Car booking opens at 20h00 CET
5th January: Car booking closes at 20h00 CET
7th January: Entry list posted
9th January: First race thread is posted
Initial car allocation:
Drivers interested in taking part in the series have to post in the full-time entry list when it opens. Doing so implies accepting being assigned whatever car the admins choose to, which will be done based upon driver's regularity in the league, sportsmanship and fair driving as well as achieving the most balanced field possible.
A personal preference of car or driver can be indicated, but admins will not be bound by that. Drivers can also indicate cars they do NOT wish to drive, but only when stating the reason why.
NOTE: No quick driver or new driver whose performance level is unknown may drive the cars called out in the entry list by a red number. If you are in doubt as to your status, please PM the series admins.

Shared full-time drives:
In certain special cases, the admins may consider allowing two drivers to share one full-time drive for the season, both arranging between them who races each event. A driver in a shared full-time arrangement is allowed to procure a separate one-off drive specifically for the 500 mile events, but picking a one-off at any other event will mean abandoning permanently the shared drive. Points scored by each driver will count individually towards the driver's championship.
Please PM the admins if you and another driver are interested in such an arrangement.
- Every full time time driver must announce his presence/absence when a race thread is posted.
- Any driver/driver combo of a shared drive missing 2 races without comment or missing 4 races in total (regardless if they announce their presence or absence) will lose their car and it shall be vacated.
- Vacated cars shall be offered for 24 hours and anyone can ask for them after an admin has posted their availability. After the 24 hour period, the cars will be assigned in the following preference order:
- 1st: To the asking full time drivers with the most starts
- 2nd: To the non-full time drivers with the most starts
- Drivers can only switch cars once during a season.
- Full time drivers who give up or lose their car will have their number of starts reset to zero.
- If a full time drive is vacated once a race thread is up, the admins will offer the car as a one-off for said race, then reallocate it as a full time drive after the race has been completed.
- Full time drivers are not allowed to switch to another free car after a race thread has been posted. If they drop their car, they cannot take part in the race.
- Cars can not be reserved in absentia (i.e. reserve the car for another driver).
- Full time drivers who haven't announced their presence 48 hours before the start of official qualifying will have their cars made available as one-offs.
- If a driver declares his absence, his car shall be made available as a one-off.
- Once a driver has chosen a one off car for a race, he cannot switch should another car become available for that race.
- A driver may drive up to 3 different cars (a car is determined as a chassis + engine combo) during a season as a one off driver (excluding cars he has driven as a full time driver)
- Admins reserve the right to deny a car to a driver if they are deemed too quick for it.
CHAMPIONSHIP RULES AND POINTS
The championship will be run over 15 rounds.
Positions 1 through 12 score points. One point is scored for pole position, with one point scored for most laps led in the race.
1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | 5th | 6th | 7th | 8th | 9th | 10th | 11th | 12th |
20 | 16 | 14 | 12 | 10 | 8 | 6 | 5 | 4 | 3 | 2 | 1 |
Both finishers and non-finishers can score points. All rounds count toward the championship total.
There will be one drivers’ championship, as well as the informal "Triple Crown" (a driver winning all three 500 mile races will be declared Triple Crown Champion).
If two or more drivers finish the championship with the same number of points, ties between these drivers shall be resolved in the following order:
1. The greatest number of first places.
2. The greatest number of second places and so.
3. The date on which the drivers achieved their first win.

19:35 | Drivers' briefing and warm-up |
20:00 | Race start |
500 miles event schedule
Due to the longer duration of the event, 500 mile races will start earlier at 19:00. Specific practice, warm up and qualifying info and schedules will be indicated in the corresponding race thread.
Road course event schedule
19:00 | Qualifying Session (50 minutes) |
19:50 | Drivers' briefing and warm-up |
20:00 | Race start |
QUALIFYING PROCEDURES
Ovals:
Qualifying on ovals will consist of a two-lap shootout for each driver. This 5-minute session will be a "private" one, which means each driver will be alone on the track although everybody will run simultaneously. Each driver will be allowed a maximum of four laps: one warming up lap, two qualifying laps, and the slowing down lap. Any driver covering more than four laps will have his qualifying time disallowed and will be put at the end of the qualifying order.
Indy 500:
The Indianapolis 500 grid will be determined by the traditional 4-lap Time Trials one week prior to the actual race weekend.
Road Courses:
Qualifying on road courses will take place during a timed session in which all cars can be on the track at once. No lap limit will be imposed during road course qualifying sessions.
TIRE AND RACE FUEL LIMITS
Tire and fuel limit information for each race will be indicated in the corresponding race thread.
RACE START PROCEDURE
The start will be given flying behind the game-controlled Safety Car.
When the green flag is given, overtaking is allowed in any part of the race track, even before the start/finish line. This also applies for restarts.

FULL COURSE YELLOW PROCEDURE
- When a yellow flag is thrown, you can race till the start/finish line (Race to the flag). The order behind the safety car will be the same as the drivers crossed the line for the first time after the caution was issued.
- When the Safety Car is out, you must keep a normal pace until you reach the line of cars behind the SC. Otherwise you'll get a penalty. Same when you exit the pit lane under yellow, you have to be quick enough to rejoin the SC.
- The pits are open all the time.
- On restarts, all cars must be no more than two car lengths apart, and single file. You don't have to be right behind the car in front, staggered formation is allowed for safety reasons, but respect always the distance (Never side by side). Failure to observe this rule during the race could result in a post-race penalty.
- When the Yellow comes out, a Yellow Flag will flash on your screen. That flag will continue to flash until you have TAKEN the yellow. Once you have taken the yellow flag, it will stop flashing and will be a Solid Flag. So if you are in the middle of turns 3&4 when the Caution is called and cross the start finish line, if the flag on your screen is still flashing, then you need to continue on around the track before YOU are actually under yellow. Which also means you get to pass the Safety Car.
- /!\ The leader must be careful to not overtake the Safety Car when the latter is exiting the pitlane. /!\
A training server running on the next scheduled track will be online permanently. Please avoid cars which are not assigned to you on the server.

BEHAVIOUR ON TRACK
- As for all ISO races, it is required you use your real name both in-game and on the forum. Thank you.
- Chatting during the race is strictly forbidden, talking during a qualifying session is only permitted for technical difficulties, but please whisper to the admin in charge to limit the disturbance towards other drivers. The code to add before your message when using whisper chat in the AMS is the following:
/w adminname Message
Example:/w Alberto Ibanez I have a problem.
- Respect the red condition at the end of the pitlane.
- Respect all pit exit/entry procedures as listed in the race thread and driver's briefing.
- Drive Through : If a driver has to do a drive through, even if there is no pit lane speed limit, he has to drive through the pitlane at 100 km/h max (60 mph). If he doesn't respect this, he will get a 30s penalty at the end of the race.
- If you have a spin on the course, it is YOUR responsibility to make sure the track is sufficiently clear before you rejoin the race.
- Driving back to the pits on anything less than 4 wheels is not allowed in any session. Drivers must stop in a safe place and ESC out of the race. Failure to do so may result in a post race penalty.
- Race Control may request drivers who are circulating at a very slow pace to retire. Drivers must stop in a safe place and ESC out of the race. Failure to do so may result in a post race penalty.
PROTESTS
A protest form is available in the main forum page (Top navigation bar) should a driver consider that a race incident in which has was involved himself merits disciplinary or corrective action. Any inappropriate comment regarding incidents will be deleted by an admin. Protests have to be logged no later than 72 hours after the race ends. Protests filed in names of other drivers will not be accepted. Any resulting rulings will be posted after this 72 hour period has expired.
