A test server is now running with the DRM 1978 mod at the Hockenheim Short A track, which is default AMS content. SERVER INFORMATION Server Name : ISO DRM 1978
Server IP : 51.77.116.8:34178
Server Password : iso78
A training server will be running 24/7 (same password).

So far:
ShadowReciever for 320's except McLaren spec should be set to false.
Ford Escort cockpit needs the gauge blackout for the NAs to be moved, slightly to the left. Only slightly.
Windscreen for Porsche 935/K1 needs fix.
Bruno is having game-crash issues with the new kitted Toyota Celica but I'm struggling to recreate it. Patches for the above issues will come as soon as possible.

In both, the only thing I changed was the amount of fuel. The problem seemed to be intermittent, since using a Porsche, I reduced fuel and I did 8 laps without the game crashing. I will test more over the next week and report if I have problems. |

I had one CTD with the Joest-935 77, I think I was fooling around with ... fuel or steering in the pits.

I was on the server at the same time as Michael, and my game crashed simultaneously.

Richard did mention frequently joining/leaving the server causes lag which might be the cause of the problems. Will continue investigating though.

Just some positive feedback:
Sound design -> Porsche is awesome (only car tested).
One can hear the excess boost pressure bounce around when off throttle.

I have noticed just some error on all BMWs. The front headlight glass is flying in the air. Also the tyres looks too squared. Would be nice to see rounded shape as i prepared for BMW M1 mod. The tyre rims looks very similar to those from M1 mod.  |

- What car you was in exactly? (Model and number)
-Did you have any different upgrades applied?
- When did the game crash? (While loading, in pits, in garage changing settings, on track, after an accident or when someone joined the server?)
- Any error messages?
- Was it online or Offline?

Had one game crash in the Manhalter 2002, I believe it happened at the same time as Juha was in the pits and the game crashed for him. I was just sliding it through the entry to the Stadium section.

The tyre rims looks very similar to those from M1 mod. Those tyres are the Brickyard Legends Team ones, with over 20 different wheel styles. You'd lose the accuracy of a lot of wheel specific cars if you were to replace them, as well as rewriting every single genstring. The headlight glass issue is also to do with genstring. I was left with no choice but to find a common area to put the headlights to compensate for so many grilles. Otherwise, I'd have to make at least 15 Light Style<X> folders or more. |

Have tested with full Div 1 and Div 2 fields together offline, no crashes (not even memory warning with 30+ in the field.)
I have no idea what is causing crashes online.

I had problems last night with the Toyota, crashed twice within 5 minutes on the server. I thought it was only me so I did a full reinstallation of AMS (I had been installing a lot of mods and game seemed quite unstable and had long load times). I just did 10 laps in the Toyota without any issues at all. However, when I crashed before there were others on the server.

Anyone know what this might mean? Juha (in a 320) left the server and then my game crashed mid lap. Check Windows Event Viewer you should get more detailed information about the error. Checked myself and apparently it was caused by an confliction with my HUD mod.  |

Interesting, but several drivers don't use any Huds on bar the default AMS one so that seems unlikely.

WE ARE DOING TESTS WITH THE SERVER USING DIFFERENT OPTIONS. YOU CAN JOIN AND DRIVE IF YOU WILL, IGNORE ANY MISMATCHES IN SRS OR OTHER THINGS POINTED BY THE GAME. JUST LET US KNOW IF YOU HAVE A CTD AND WHAT CAR AND SITUATION IT WAS. |

PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE NEW SRS FILE WE HAVE PLACED IN THE MOD PATH (AUTOMOBILISTA/MODS/DRM 1978)
PLEASE REPORT ANY CRASHES YOU HAVE TOO USING THE ABOVE QUESTIONS. IT HELPS US IMMENSLEY IF YOU CAN FILL THAT OUT.
