I have to pull out as well. Had PC issues during the week and thus haven't been able to do any meaningful practice. Sorry for the late notice but especially on this track I'd be a danger to the other cars

Is the track okay offline, Is it just online? Are you sure you don't have duplicate files anywhere? I think I found the problem. There was another SKY.mas file inside the Locations folder, probably from another installed track. Perhaps the Norisring.scn path tried to load both, the one inside Norisring folder and the one inside Locations folder. It worked. And which one did you delete? Were both sky files from a modded ISO track? Might be an oversight if every modded track adds another sky file. Are they all the same though? :S

Can I join the Division 2 race as a one off in Coxon's Loom car and still race in Division 1? I would also request my Division 2 points would not be counted because of that.

As said before the season: not allowed. Ah alright. I thought that was limited to full-time entries only. No problem

First of all, I really want to apologize to Ray. Completely my fault, I should have been more aware of the cars surroundings and that's completely my responsibility.
But still, I had a great race. I had lots of fun when I wasn't punting people and while I am a bit bummed that I wasn't able to make the move on Martin stick I must commend him (and everyone else) for his great racing and driving skills.
I look forward to the famed Nordschleife!

Man, that was fun! Battling almost the entire race.. and the degrading tyres... all that whilst keeping the turbo engine under control at full boost....

I qualified 3rd which was better than I expected. Trying to be careful on lap 1 I hit the wall at the chicane exit and that damaged the right rear corner which made it difficult to control the car under braking and turning into the chicane. Had a few small battles along the way but two small spins didn't help (I've got to stop these mistakes) and I was down to 10th and it was looking like I would finish there. Then some engine failures and I was up to 7th trying to catch John Thim. Couldn't catch him (one more lap would have done ). Spent the whole race watching the engine temps after a failure last time. Its difficult to drive like that but it was a fun race. Thanks for the broadcast.

Had a nice start and from then on just tried to manage tires and engine temps.
Computer had a stutter right before I was going to shift and it killed my engine as the shift didn't register. Gutted!

Sorry to Richard Wilks for the small tap at the early stages of the race. As for my own race, I'm getting real tired of this Toyota. Drove the crap out of the thing, taking care to shift very early and it let me down when it mattered most. P4 gone. Other than that, that was an amazing race!

That was great fun, we had very exciting racing in the midfield! Sorry for tapping you, Michael, it looked like a gap, but vanished in front of me

Must ask my engine build to supply me with something which lasts longer than 35 minutes.
Grabbed Pole, saw Martin take off an decided to take it calmly. Wilmer and Jan found a way through as well but I kept to my planned revs. Then Anders came looking and we had a great scrap.
And with 5 laps to go, closing in on Wilmer, the engine said goodbye yet again.
I hope it'll behave better at the Nordschleife.

I considered it a good result for me, I started in 13th and finished in 7th place. I tried to do my race, without worrying about the opponents because I started with a lot of fuel (120 liters) and used the maximum pressure of the turbo throughout the race, controlling the temperature and the wear of the tires. When I thought about attacking Luciano who was 20 seconds ahead of me, I made a small mistake in the clamp, the first gear didn't go in and I accelerated in neutral above 8 thousand rpm. At that moment, I understood that there was no point in pushing, as the engine was at risk and as I had a 20-second advantage over Miller, I preferred to secure the position and finish the race with an engine at risk. Congratulations to the winners. Once again, a superb broadcast of the race by Mr. White and Alberto. Let's go!

fun race tonight. No practice until tonight, but we drove this track with BMW ProCar i think. I adjusted my brake pedal for the last CART race, so the braking was far better for me than before. I think i should have lengthen the 5th gear a bit more, but i did no test in race trim (just went in with default setup and going +2 clicks from what i discovered in warmup). Maybe short shifting would have helped to safe engine too, but i thought i would be safe as i had no problems at Zolder. The race itself were interesting with all that braking from top speed and acceleration out of these corners. Would have been nice to fight with Martin until the end. Congrats to all finishers.

That was great fun, we had very exciting racing in the midfield! Sorry for tapping you, Michael, it looked like a gap, but vanished in front of me That almost ruined my race. Not for the loss of position, but the right rear tire never came back into its temperature window. Phew, close call! Classy move, nontheless, and I really enjoyed the battle!
Well, if there was one track Porsche had in mind when they designed the 935, it must have been the Norisring. Get around the bends somehow, point the car into the right direction, and: vamos!
Returning from a visit to my frankonian homeland earlier today (not Nuremberg, though, but I drove the start-finish straight about 25 years ago, in search for a crate of beer ), I turned on the computer around 8.15, did some familiarization laps offline and managed to lap a new personal best doing so, and then hopped on the server as soon as it became online. Q was so-so, I'm still convinced two laps weren't timed properly, and thus I was stuck with a 52.7x, where the setup was fine for a sub-52.4, but not today. But well, the actual task consisted fo 44 laps. I took a very careful start this time around, trying not to shred my engine in the opening lap again, lost 3 positions, but could quickly get one back again, kept the end of the trail in sight and gained a position here and there, some by overtaking a car, some by other peoples' misfortunes. Had an interesting battle with Jules, that included a few fender benders by me, but also one or another missed gear. Unfortunately, he dropped out, but I was in fifth. Matthew had visible problems while behind me, Gabriel did his best to hassle me, and while I had my advantage going into Grundig turn, his strong point was definitely the Dutzendteich turn. Exiting the Schöller-S left trying to get into a good position to attack Matthew, the car suddenly went into an unexpected spin. Seems I had a little help there. I turned the car around but that had overstressed my right rear tire. Unfortunately, Matthew dropped out with technical troubles, and Gabriel sportingly handed my position back. Fourth. Tin medal, but I'm happy with my race and the result.
Up to the 'Ring. That's gonna be intersting!
