Could I have a go in the 22, please? Sorry, the 22 is free again.
I sliced my palm pretty good on a bit of 50 year old VW Saturday afternoon and some testing just now indicates three hours of Monaco-level driving intensity would be...uncomfortable.

rears still keep locking up, even when the brakes are stone cold.

Never had so much fun for a DNQ....and a blessing in disguise....PC was pretty much as I left it (settings, HUD clutter. ) and was having a sulk from the neglect. Even if I was on the grid by virtue of only 23 turning up, I think the stress of 22 lapping me every 15-20 laps, would be too much...
This mod lured me back....Shame I took so bloody long to get setup.

My races are getting shorter.
I got the wrong angle into the harbour chicane and that was it. Shame for me as this was a track where I needed to score points.

Blew the engine up. Commentators were absolutely spot on. I've never led an ISO race before so I the concept of winning was at the forefrontof my mind rather than the length of the race. Surprised it gave way so early though. I will say, that harbour chicane is one of the scariest experiences I've had on simracing (however I expect that may change looking at this seasons schedule) I was counting down the amount of times I had to do it each lap, at least I don't have to worry about that anymore.

A blown engine for me after 15 laps. I missed a few gear changes and I couldn't keep the engine temps down. After 3 laps the tyres were already overheating.

Found a sorta workaround for the tyres by lowering the tyre pressure of the rears... Did a fantastic job keeping the tyres cool, which enabled me to overtakes 3 guys on track and other guys dropping down the list by either dnf of pits.. was running great in 5th.. untill engine just gave up

Happy this is over, at least I managed to do my greatest number of laps I ever accomplish around this place with 41, but else, it was an evening to forget. Couldn't get my stuff together in Q, there was probably at least 7/10 still in the car, but I could get no really clean lap down. Threw the car in the harbour in warmup in the first lap, after that, I was really fed up. My start was really careful and I lost a another two positions, I had a little incident in the opening laps, when I sent David into a spin in the tunnel after he had a slight error exiting Portier. I was along him, but got sideways in the tunnel and missed a shift, and all I could see in my mirror was David spinning away. Sorry for that! The rest of the race was trying to get as long as possible, managed to climb from 20th back to 12, August followed me like a shadow for the first 10 or 15 laps, after that, it got lonely, the distances to the front and rear got progressively larger. I missed 3 or 4 shifts, but what really worried me was I never got the engine temps under 107 degrees, even though I was really shortshifting and coasting a lot. I had a spin right in front of the casino in lap 37, and in lap 42, letting pass a few faster cars through Gasometre, the engine just went quite.
On to Zandvoort. The flowing nature of that track should suit the car and me a lot better.

Had a very good Q and somehow managed to put my red tractor on pole in Monaco Had a good start and tried from lap 2 onwards to preserve both tyres and engine Unfortunately my tractor decided that 50 laps are enough in Monaco and my engine died

Dang, that was quite an effort to get through two thirds of this race. It was great fun but couldn't keep the engine happy no matter what I did, never had it under 110C. While it isn't points, I'll gladly take a top 10 from starting dead last. On to the Dutch sands of Zandvoort!

I just want to congratulate each and every one of you for even thinking of taking on the task: 100 laps like this isn't something everyone can pull off. About the chicane... did someone mention Masta full-blast? Perhaps on Remmen-Philrob's version of Spa?

Was the water cold? Was just behind when that happened. Had a lot of fun racing you, Wilmer, Anders and Gabriele, was happy with my driving and didn't think I was abusing the car too much, altough it looked like it on the broadcast! That "divebomb" on Anders was not supposed to be a passing attempt, just different braking patterns between our cars, thankfully Anders saw it coming. I'm not sure what I did wrong. I didn't overheat the engine, didn't overrev it, rarely going over 6800. Probably need to lower it, then again this track is very stressful on the drivetrain. Congrats to everyone who finished! A merit.

Don't worry guys, plenty of chances to end a race in the water this season ... Long Beach & Toronto have both the sea close enough Fun fact, we will be racing by the mediterranean, pacific and atlantic ocean this year

Very tense race. I had to check the qual times to see where I could slot my car. The 11th in qualifying was incredible! I had to keep my nose clean and pick my fights to manage the car tires and engine revs. My plan was set and overdrive to defend would had been silly. The car just can't go faster! I made a mistake at the killer chicane and after that I changed my approach, endurance mindset ON. Everybody in front broke and I finished 2nd, much more than I was expecting. But still 3 laps behind of the leader. Congratulations David, Simon and Luciano. You played it well! Thank you ISO for the broadcast! It was an endurance for you guys as well.

ahhh it wasnt to be but atleast i got some points. Started off very gently knowing its long one.I was surprised how many how drove fast and hard but they paid dearly for it . Halfway thru the race i was up to 4th and climbing;). On the way i had a good battle with Jonsson,Fredriksson. Yes i saw ur late brakemove Jacob .Finding myself in second 24 sec behind DJ closing it down to 10 sec before he started to speed up again and matching my times. So i settled for 2nd trying to bring me boat home . Yea driving the Vanwall around Monaco felt more like trying to get a oiltanker thru Suezchannel . But on lap 94-95 isch i think ,it gave up on me . Yet again my Monaco curse struck . Wd to DJ,Thiago,Wattman and Rocha . Hats off lads u did it !!!! Big TY to broadcast team awesome works lads
