I'll be, carefully, be around for this one. Running with a cold but hoping it'll be better by Sunday... The race is only on march the 6th.

is there are reason to force everyone to use 7zip? why not just use windows zip/zip extractor? previous version of 1.3 worked just fine.

I'd say because 7z has better compressing algorithm and hence achieves smaller files than native windows compressor

PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE MOD AGAIN
I apologize for the barrage of corrections, but unfortunately somethings needed more time to test.
This one is because of the fuel consumption, which was exagerated specially in the div 2 cars. I downloaded 1.3 version before this message. Should I download it again or message is just a reminder?

Check the age of the archive, if it's same age as the one you have on your computer, then no, if it's newer online, then yes, you will need to re-download it.

Worked fine for me with Winrar, so no forcing of programs at all.

i apologize, my last post wasn't very clear in the meaning i was trying to communicate, let me try to rephrase...
a small suggestion; maybe iso could standardize what compression method is used.
zero obligation to do so. just seems less than optimal to have some files done one way, and some files done another, some requiring an app, some not.
IF there is a REASON not to standardize then disregard my suggestion. im sure we will all figure it out, at least eventually. im not asking for that REASON to be explained to me, just questioning IF a REASON exists. because, if there is NOT a reason, then why not standardize and reduce questions/confusion in the future?
to clarify my personal situation, i've been having connection issues, so when i first downloaded the update and got an error extracting i thought corrupt download. tried again and got the same error. had winrar already, so tried that to check, and still error, so posted my question in the forum. wilks responded that he compressed the file with 7-zip, so then i thought i needed that specific program since winrar didn't work. downloaded 7-zip and still error. so now that i knew i was using the proper app i could conclude the download was corrupt/not complete. re-downloaded again overnight and now able to extract using 7-zip (and coxon you are correct, once correctly downloaded winrar works on this file as well). all sorted now, thank you.

My suggestion would be to properly name the files, if you got us redownload a mod again for miniscule changes, call it e.g. a 1.3a or 1.3.1 instead of plainly 1.3 again. That'd would be clearer than using another file format.

My game usually gives "connection lost" in very large folders like Nordschleife. Unfortunately I will not run this step.

Liveracer has currently a habbit of not regularly recording my fastest laptime... Yes, it’s an annoying fault but unfortunately it’s something we can do very little about.

It looks rather unlikely I'll make the grid in time for the race start, so I am absent for this one.

Could I erm.......'reluctantly' drive the #5 (I'd have preferred a Div2 one off, as I am unable to operate a clutch pedal, and keep an eye on fuel consumption.

The #53 Ford Escort is now available as a one off. If Angel confirms she’ll race the car before any one else claims it, she can still race it.

Welp, work has specifically requested me to be in on Sunday so I'm not gonna be able to make it to this race sadly. My car is free.
