Awesome track to drive on Q went as good as one can hope for. Got off to a decent start was third out off the first corner . Had two Ferraris in front of me wich both took off like a paycheck and Juha on my rear. I felt quite fast that best i could achive was a third. Had no answer to the pace off Brian and Tim. And on lap 41 my engine gave up on me . Wd to to Brian,Tim 1-2 and Juha who manage a third + all who finneshed .

Happy about my the outcome of the weekend My Quali was solid again, same for the race Sorry to Michael Drechsler for having the slight moment, I kinda lost my concentration in the laps before and simply misjudged the closing speed. Very happy and proud to be part of the Ferrari 1-2

What a great experience to be able to race on Zandvoort in a simulator in this accurate configuration after all these years, a very big compliment to Sergio Loro and of course Martin Lacina for their excellent work. a dream to race on. tried to drive the super heavy Maserati to the finish but lap 16 put me in a tricky situation, Mick slammed into the tire stacks on the straight and catapulted back onto the track in front of me, got a hit but lost control and crashed into the right gates and flew over the grass and spun, immediately put the gear into reverse to slow down hard and not have to fold the left gates with the rear too. The car became unpredictable and started to wobble a lot during braking or when letting go of the throttle. The blue flags didn't make it any easier for me and on lap 23 where I let passed Rodriquez I spun on top of the most dangerous spot; Zijn Veld Jan de Wijker! got out of there but out of nowhere two rushing cars came and had already put my 360 in , bam . If I had driven backwards, it would have ended better, but that is always afterwards. What a heavy tank this Maserati and in combination with a bad injection Avgas power penalty makes it a big fat Sherman. still tons of fun !! great to see the Ferrari guys attacking the corners without wrecking their tires. too bad this race was not broadcast, hope to ride this more often in the future

Having watched the event as race control, I have to say big kudos to Martin Lacina for his outstanding work on this track and to Wilks on the physics , as the cars truly looked like the real thing in all regards. It was a real pleasure to watch, although Brian's killer performance left not many chances to the rest. But Hille's great come back was one of the highlights of the race from my point of view, together withe the three way battle that lasted many laps between Jacob, Gabriele and Thiago and Miller's merciless climbing up through field like a hot knife through butter I know Thiago is not a fan of those fights, but you all looked great and I bet you had some fun with it, for sure I as spectator did appreciate that even more than when Thiago drives away Sebastian Vettel style and hammers lap after lap in perfection till victory (Also quite meritory of course). Looking forward to Reims, where poor Juha and the Cooper brigade will have some hard time.

Racecraft has never been more important than in this season all across the categories. I quite love a battle to be honest, but it is easier to put my head down and hit my marks on and on. These cars are way too scary to battle because they are extremely sensitive with weight transfer and poor brakes/grip all around. Ultimately unforgiven, and it gives even more merit to all the survivors and real life drivers of that time. I was having a bunch of fun with the guys (Juha, Miller, Jacob, Gabriele), unfortunately I believe I made a tinny mistake in the breaking point and it was all gone. I had incredible runs in the last turn fighting Jacob but didn't want to overrev the engine to complete the overtake and blow it up before the end. It didn't work this time, but I believe I was in a very good plan to at least grab some points. But there is always a next race. I had a big brown moment ending lap 1. Juha gave me the right side at the straight, I had no idea that the pit area had less grip!!! I almost hit the fence!!! hahaha Well done to the survivors!!! Congrats to Brian, Tim and Juha for the podium!!! See you next race!!!

Ever had a bad day? Well.. i had a bad weekend... Didn't get to practise due to a depression and with the rear constantly locking up.. even with all the tweaking.. Eventually got it somewhat to work... Qualifying... frustrating when you're behind a car that's slower than you.. so you make mistakes etc, managed to post a good laptime... Race... now off with a good start, David Jaques let me by because my pace was better than (thanks man).. climbed up some places... got a bit wide and spun out.. lost some places.. never mind... managed to overtake to get back where i was...... untill i made a big mistake and my car was send airborne into the trees... fuck this weekend! Downloaded the replay, You were very fun to watch and were making good progress through the field and really messin with those Maseratii's, the crash was a bummer! Maybe the tires were too toasty for a second? Who knows, these Dinosaurs have humbled most of us multiple times by now. Agree with Alberto, for anyone missing a broadcast, the replay was really worth the download! Pretty much everybody, top to bottom, had a great hero moment, or two, or ten, with stellar car control, and the track looked awesome. The cars looked way more fun to drive than the torture they actually are

I don't get it, how I would end up with yet another mechanical DNF. Looking at how the other Maser' in contention used his engine, I don't get how my engine could give up some 15 laps earlier. I never really revved over 7000 rpm, coasted in 5th around the back side and generally took it very easy. I guess it is the name of the game with these cars, sometimes it just doesn't want to play along for the distance.
Anyway, racing wise, I think I am regaining my form. 250F+Zandvoort is a delightful combo. For once, qualifying went really well, 5th on the grid and fastest Maserati was a nice feat, whenever you beat Canola in a similar car you have to be happy with that. The race went well too, hold off Canola and Gabriele despite them being more aggressive with their equipment (or so I thought). With that I am quite disappointed to DNF yet again. But with the pace I've shown here, I feel upbeat for the rest of the season. Will be fun, just have to finish some races.

Pains me, to do this....but my car is up for offer #12..I am not "freeing it", and as there is abetter car also available atm........I would just prefer for some1 more competent, better practiced to get the car from the tail end. Hope that makes sense? ( DRM was a bloody nitmare, cos the 2 rows ahead were slow getting moving (or I was too eager) and I always had it in my mind I would be behind the Div2 cars....anyway, I am looking forward to it.....though, Monaco seemed much easier?? ( Or you hadn't read the briefing, which stated the opening lap was the formation lap.

Well another computer issue, I have lost the count. I love this circuit amazing job for recreate it as real as possible. Very happy with the qualy, 10th and only 1.6 from the pole and very close to the "Leggeras", the only laps I could rev the car to 7000 rpm because in race is impossible without blow up the engine. Sorry Gabriele during the qualy, I did not see you, I tried to get out your way, but was late . I had a bad start in the race but I recovered the position quickly, but a lap later, I "kissed" a little bit the tail of Dave Miller, and I spun as a rookie, so downed to 20th position. I knew I did not have any chance to challenge the other cars so I marked my pace and wait for retirements. The thing was good enough and I was in 10th and 25 laps remainig. I wanted to finish the race, no taking risks, shifting before 6000 to avoid burn my engine and everything semed to be under control, and suddenly a desktop error and my race was over. I use GID for tire temps and wear, partial times etc. This could be the problem? Congrats to Brian, and Tim and for Ferrari, and Juha great job!! and everyone who finished, these cars are amazing and very hard to drive. See you in Reims
