Stupid mistake.
Didn't have enough time to practice for one reason or another but still no excuse.
See you at the next one and thanks for the broadcast. Great as always.

I had to use my old computer for this race as the newer one suffered its boot-up problem. Managed to get everything installed quickly and got the setup from August . Qual was ok I could have been a bit faster but I wasn't. The race setup was ok, save and steady and hitting my fuel target. When the pitstop came up I released that I couldn't select a different set of tyres, I forgot to assign keys for the pit menu . No way to complete the race on one set of tyres so banging the wall after exiting the pits didn't matter. Time to retire. Thanks for the broadcast, I watched it once I had retired.

Was fun, had some battles like with Lewis Stephenson and Juha... but sadly... Just like with Red Bull today.. my Honda didn't go the distance.. it went out in a big pile of smoke...

Another crazy race! I had a safe start and from there was playing quite safe til the yellow came and I had a big brain fart hitting the guardrail while watching Cezar's car in front of me. It was more like a daydream I should say. Car damaged, added the wrong amount of fuel during the stop, everything wrong. Was a lap down and just trying to go as fast as I could and see where the last "splash and go" would put me. I had a good battle with Anders in two different occasions, first when he tried to lap me and the second when we were fighting for position. I had nightmares because of turn 1 in the past.(CART 1988 battle with Jundt) It isn't the first time I almost die there. I'm sorry to whoever I may caused a brown moment. Congratulations to Jaques for the win and Anders 2nd place. Very well deserved. Thank you Jonatan, Alberto and Ryan for the broadcast!! See you next race!!!

Finally, a cleanish race and another Top 10! It seems I'm having a lot of these races where I can put myself in no-mans-land and ride the attrition to a somewhat decent finish. I gotta thank David Sabre for working together on the setup for something that I found quite easy to drive in the end despite the overall speed not being the best. If I had pushed a bit harder and didn't spin coming out of the chicane onto the front straight I could have possibly caught Adam Hackman but I'm not gonna beat myself up about finishing another race.
Congrats to David, Anders, and Thiago on the podium! The broadcast was great as always! Onto Long Beach and the Pacific Coast!

I started training and soon found myself completely lost in the setup. I asked Juha for help and managed to improve my lap time a bit. When I was training with Juha's setup, Mr. Saber and Mr. Watring offered me a setup that fit like a glove in my hands. Thank you very much gentlemen! I left confident and did my best lap in qualifying, but nothing that would put me beyond 18th place. I already imagined that this race would be a carnage and it really was! The pace of the top 3 was killer, with 15 laps on the track I was already one lap ahead of the leaders. I kept my purpose in finishing the race, I set my pace between 42 high and 43 seconds and I took the car, trying to get rid of the problems that appeared in the front and many times behind, sometimes causing some damage to my right rear suspension. With my conservative pace, Luciano Rocha started to pressure me but I knew I could tighten the pace and open up distance. When it was time for the first pit stop, Luciano passed me and everything went normal, in a few laps, I was already putting pressure on Luciano until he hit the tire barrier on the S before the finish line. Soon after, Vadim was my pursuer and I could do nothing to stop his passage and gently, I made room not to waste any more time and fight for a lost cause. After that, my run was isolated, but not at all monotonous, as there was always someone putting back on top of me and it was often terrifying to look in the mirrors and see the voracity with which they arrived. In the end, with so many abandonments, the positions were falling in my lap and the ninth place was very welcome, scoring points for the first time in this championship. Congratulations to the winners and to the broadcast of the race that is always motivating and enjoyable to watch. Now that Long Beach comes with the same survival strategy, things will be more complicated there.

Bitter taste of tire barrier!
Babied the fragile Honda/Judd engine with very low revs and boost but was very happy with track position and consistency Unfortunately lost rhythm after bad moment being lapped, and so the only Brown moment of the race was a full blown case of Diarrhea At least I provided some CART realism by causing a full course yellow
Congrats Jaques and all finishers

Thanks all for a good race.
Had a brilliant battle with David, just one moment of concentration loss 15 laps to go and that was it.
Onto long beach now and that should be fun!
Congrats David on the win!

Like Anders, I wasn't planning on going racing on Sunday either. I did have my name down on the entry list, but some badly digested salad had deprived me of quite some sleep and any further practice I had planned prior to the race.
I decided to try it, and park it soon, voluntarily or involuntarily depending on how close I got to the walls.
Qualifying surprisingly resulted in a PB. The race started less well, despite being in the top 10, I realised my setup wasn't much good. I upped the boost to keep up with the people around me, which wasn't a bad idea as I planned on having a short race and it would expedite my exit. If I was to go out early, at least I'd enjoy it.
Alas, the engine kept going and so did I. I even re-entered the top 10 by virtue of keeping away from the scenery. Maybe there was something to gain here after all. Change of strategy required then. I put myself out of sync in during the yellow, which seemed like a good idea but I never caught the pack.
No problem though, because gradually every one around me dropped out and 9th place looked safe. John Thim was ahead, but too far away for me to risk the engine, and my earlier stop meant I had to reduce my fuel consumption, so I kept lowering the boost in an effort to recover whatever I'd taken out of the engine earlier.
After that, it was just cruising to the end with no one to fight and picking up places, unexpectedly landing in 5th. Not bad for a race which I didn't expect to last more than 20 minutes.
Well done to David on the win, and everyone who finished!
