Indy Qualifying... Great that we run this format. Always a challenge to string 4 good laps together after sitting, all nerved up, waiting for your turn Never appreciated it until we Simmed it! Very happy where I ended up Congrats to Adam and everyone up ahead. (Alberto you were freaky consistent ) Cheers to all that made the field and everyone that gave it a shot

Thanks to Vadim and Brian for their warm comments, I'm over the moon with 3rd, which I was not expecting at all. Real life for me is being quite tough lately with lots of family responsibilities, which coupled with modding for the league doesn't leave much time to prepare races. This one is however so special to me that I burned the midnight oil studying and preparing the car. It took nearly the whole week to get it to work, I got advice from Wilks (Thanks again mate) regarding the treats and driving style needed, but it did not sink in until late in the week. Teaching an old horse new tricks and all that - you know The track was more slippery than during practice and my setup on the edge was scary at first, but the combination of me being conservative and the car warming up produced the most consistent ever laps I have done in any sim, in any race, ever Now the dream is over, the race is another challenge in itself and again will require lots of setup and driving work, which I'm not sure I can put as I have a quite stressful week ahead, but I'm willing to enjoy every minute of the 500 with all of you - at least until my engine blows

Superbly organized , a great format that entertains until the end. To be able to watch on youtube and the live timing screen . The bumping was good although it was sad to see Angel not qualify. I came into qualifying cold with no running on Sunday and it showed with a slow first lap and then a mistake on lap three but it was fast enough to safely qualify. I need to try and find a bit more pace for the race but the cars at the front look much too fast.

Not qualified for this first attempt in this series... too slow, much too slow and not yet comfortable with the settings... Could someone give me a setup so I can work a bit while waiting for the next opportunity?! And thank you to the organization.

I'm not entirely happy with this one, well up in the field, but a bit short of my own performance and a bit more so of the capabilities of the car, but I never got it into the right balance for the few laps without cooking the right front off, but that was propably everyone's trouble. Also having a later slot in my group than usual had me probably lost my focus when it was finally my turn, I didn't really feel 'at home' on the track as I did 20 minutes before and kept missing my entry points. With David at the back of the field, it P17 on the grid - dead center!
So good to hear Jason again in the booth, I enjoyed the broadcast

Very good qualify. This format doesn't allow any mistake and consistency (Alberto = Mr. Consistent) pays off. I had a plan but I totally forgot what I had to do in lap 1 to make it work. The anxiety building up during the waiting and the pressure were the cause. Merit to the folks who prepared themselves, kept it cool and put it together. Congrats to Adam for the pole. You destroyed us bro! Also well done to all the participants. Thank you Jason, Alberto and Juha for the hard word during the looooong broadcast. See you this Weekend!!! It is going to be awesome!!!!

Thank you so much for the opportunity to qualify! 34th today, hope to be better next time! Good try there at the end Pablo, you got it together for a nice run. Keep an eye on race day, some people might not take part, and free a spot. Many Thanks Richard! Yeah, I will follow the thread and wait for the opportunity!

aimed for low 43's, but lost the car in turn 1, had not happened in several practice runs with the same set, but the track felt a lot slipperier than ever even in my conservative 2nd run. Too bad couldn't make an evening out of it on TS like we did last year, just too busy with work make a serious effort this year. Will be in better shape for the race at least.

Thanks to ISO for a great mod and historically accurate track to go with it! I know it's a test of endurance for the booth, but as always the broadcast is much appreciated and entertaining.
This one is very special to me. As others have alluded to, the qualifying here is especially difficult on the old nerves. My knees were shaking the entire time. I knew the car would be touchy on lap one, but it felt the best it's felt all month for the last three laps. Super excited for pole, but the race will be an entirely different proposition. A lot of race craft there that I still need to be better with.
Congrats to all those who qualified!
