Oh man, Can't wait to get back on this track! GPL track builders are working on an updated version and i did an online race on a beta version of it: I may install GPL once more, after all I really like Cleveland. It's the only CART/Indy race I've attended. It was the very last one in 2007 and it was a race to remember. The winner was a certain maniac from Canada and he broke off TWO front wings on his way to victory Btw, is there anyone who uses a high power Direct Drive wheel? My TS-PC only pulls 6,5Nm, but it actually feels like a workout. And I'd love to try it in a motion rig. My buttkicker has no issues running for 2+ hours on pretty high settings. Not here. It overheats in 20 minutes and shuts down I must turn the vibrations a bit lower to keep it alive throughout the whole race. It must be brutal with DD and motion

The #3 and #29 Marches are now available as one offs for this race due to their drivers not confirming their presence. If they confirm they’ll race their cars before any one else claims them, they can still race them.

This track really kicked me around these past two weeks. The issue happens not to be with the car but the guy in the seat. I just couldn't figure out how to setup the car in any good way and my frustration with that just compounded things. All that being said, boy howdy do I love this track. It's absolutely beautiful and such a challenge to drive.
Onto the streets of Toronto!

Fun but very tiring. Suffered from understeer on full tank so it was difficult to dial that out.
Had a nice fight from afar with Adam but he really gained on me in the last few laps and I barely hung on to get 8th, my best finish in this series so far.

@jonatan, you jinxed me! I'm really glad I took part in this race. It was physically and mentally draining, but it was fun. Spent most of the time cruising together with Juha. The first stop was pretty bad, as I didn't know where my box is. Lost at least 2-3 seconds. And the last stop wasn't very good either, as I took almost 30 liters more than I needed. The fight with Francesco and Vadim at the end was something special. It was obvious that we were playing with boost. Unfortunately for me, I cranked it up more than ever during the race and before I could adapt to it I made my only big mistake during this race. Yeah, I'm a little pissed at myself, but I can only blame myself and Francesco's P5 is fully deserved. And considering this was a one-off ride with an old car and I spend time with my wife in her 8th month of pregnancy rather than practicing for races, P6 isn't too bad Thanks, I hope I'll grab a car for the next race, too

No prep (40+40 laps). David had very little time too -he thankfully had a setup. Race was crazy. Thats all I'll say First time @ Cleveland. Hate it! People getting pushed over the line? Torn about something like that. Very cool gesture - not very realistic though is it? Oh well - thanks ISO for all the prep. work. Broadcast surely will be delightful as always. Cu @ the next one

Hardly pushed over the line, the car wouldn't move any faster and was slowing me down.
I don't like to win like that. Well done to all finishers. Thanks for the broadcast.

Cu @ the next one Considering how much time you sit around twidling your thumbs on the server, not doing a lap even, maybe you should work on your motivation a little more then, just a thought. Also, i didnt see anybody being pushed over the line.

First of all, well done Coxon on the win and also Anders for what can be seen as the win. You both did brilliantly today! Was leading and feeling good, was managing fuel better than I expected and then yet another unexplainable, I want to say disconnection but honestly I have no idea what’s going on. Just thought I’d post to see if anyone has experienced what I’m experiencing in hope of a solution. New monitor bought few months ago. However when I’m racing it’ll go completely black and my computer will start making a sound like it’s booting up and the fans start. Kinda thinking it’s going into maybe a power save mode as no activity mouse wise? Anyone else ever experienced this? Anyway thank you to the broadcast team you did an amazing job as per usual. See you in Toronto

Didn't had the time to practise... tried adapting an old setup... didn't work... started from scratch with default and adjusted it... and it ended being good in pace and not too loose..
Qualified 16th...
First ciuple of laps... oh boy... outbraking myself here and there... a mistake or two... ended up 20th... and then just slowly climbing up.. with some overtakes.. and some cfrom pitting... and others crashing out.... finished p10
And now my back hurts of the porpoising!!!
And my eyes hurt of the white concrete!

This exact behaviour was caused by a dying RAM in my case. Screen went black, I heard a BIOS-like beep, fans went to full blow and PC restarted. This became more frequent. In the end, I could even hear a very silent buzzing sound coming out of one of the RAM modules. You can run Windows Memory Diagnostics or google for RAM Diagnostics and try some of these.

That’s a very good point. I’m not sure if the PC is restarting or not because when the screen goes black I press and hold the power on/off button on the computer within a second because I’m not even sure if I’m still racing on your guys screens and don’t want to ruin anyone else’s race.
Havnt thought about the possibility of it actually restarting! Thanks guys for advice so far!!

They might reboot the computer when the demand on them is too strong. First thing you should try is finding a way to reproduce the problem at will, do offline races with full grid and max details and see if it happens. Many times we practice alone and do not realize how much stress the full grid places in the VGA, RAM, etc. If you are able to reproduce the problem, you can then start testing/replacing components until you find the cause.

Great race. I had good pace since the first tests thanks to a base setup David Jaques helped me with for Long Beach.
For Qualy it was like a rodeo Bull, but ok, It was manageable. For Race I had to work a little bit in suspensions, springs and so to have a confortable drive for the entire 80 laps.
And it resulted in a strong performance, maybe with some excess of caution and fuel saving. In the end I had some fuel to spend increasing turbo against Hlavac and Taciak but decided not to play with luck and bring it home the way I was since the start. Almost got 4th, what would be possible without some mistakes during the race. But 5th was a delightful result for me.
Great fights with Thim, Hlavac, Bos, Taciak, Watring, Bouchard in a compact pack in the midfield.
Congratulations to all that saw the checkered flag.
