So, most of us art car nutters in one or another form. Many do not only admire things that move under their own power, some take inspiration from it and create things related to cars and racing from their perspective and the mediums they are familiar with. And I'm certain quite a few of us are willing to decorate their homes with automotive related stuff, be it paintings, photography, illustration, sculptures or digital works. Maybe you are even creating your own art? Show us what you've got or made!

The latest addition to my walls, a most familiar sight for some of us Saw it in the paddock of the Nürburgring during the OGP weekend. Its a form of digital illustration and the style immediately had me, but most motifs did not do so. Until I saw the Lotus, and it is quite affordable, too, which is a bonus.

I've got these 3 in my living room: John Surtees at the 1962 Goodwood TT, the 312PB of 1972 Targa Florio winners Merzario/Munari and the 1957 Le Mans winning D-Type.
The GTO and D-Type are both Graham Turner prints which I won through an online motorsport quiz.
After a house move, I found my new living room had 3 drilled holes in the wall for paintings or posters, so a third drawing was required to cover the last one. I had a print of an XJR9 by Graham Bosworth, but it felt out of place with the other two, the style and colours being different, so that one's now in my kitchen.
I thought about buying another Turner painting, preferably of a 956 or 962, but couldn't settle on one. Then I found this print from Benoît Deliège which was just perfect because it depicts a colourful scene of the Targa Florio.
And a smaller Ferrari elsewhere in the room, which is part of my fascination with cars painted in a specific colour.
I really should complete all this with at least one Porsche, but I'm still trying to find a good one.

Nice stuff, keep 'em coming!
Those Turner paintings are quite nice and I considered getting one, but they don't exactly match my living room, which has a quite gaudily yellow wall, which goes well with the Lotus showed above, but not the color range Turner uses.
And after all, the camera is my weapon of choice. I always struggled with proportions when it came to drawing and painting, but once someone put me on the right track of not just pointing and shooting at things, I quickly got a decent eye for good angles, perspectives, field of view, lights, moods and colours. Not always the best timing, though...
...but if there's some good possible motif, being patient, stubborn or both pays off!
Back to stuff hanging from walls, most people I know don't understand, why I pay relatively large money for a calendar, when I can grab one for free at the local savings bank, but while the later is a nice one for being free, it just doesn't cut it for a car nutter and photographer. So today, in the freezing cold weather, I joined the pre-christmas turmoil and picked up my calender for 2023 at the book store. What's so special about it? Its black and white, its large, and offers two high quality pictures each month from long gone times of motorsports from the '50s to '70s. 24 pictures and another one for the cover sheet, talk about value for money! Earlier examples used to be limited to 1500 pieces.
