Ok, so, I managed to make my AMS work, even though, Im unable to connect to server, I get repetedly "timed out" messege, so if there are some setup rules I should follow, please let me know. I can see the server, but only when I enter IP adress, in other case, I see no servers of any kind at all... ??
Due to mod issu, I have it now, but the in the main menu where Im to pick up the series I have everything messed up. This mode is on the first place under StockCar logo.. but other than that, it works ok..
And finaly, Id like to book the #66 Mercedes, but since Im not going to practice a lot, and Im not sure If Im going to be able to attend the race (or even able to get online), if anybody else comes with the AMG wish, Ill pass it..
thank you all!

Just log onto the server and make sure you don't get a mismatch 👍🏻
Since we have a low amount of entrants, would people rather do a 2 shorter races or keep the length as it is?
Also TC and ABS will be allowed on the server as real GT3 cars have these features.

Patrick's work is at/near Reiza quality. If you can swing the 5Gb download its imo a must have. Its like a free DLC package.

Seems to work on the server. I've got some of those tracks already. I was just thinking i didn't want to spend a few hours downloading things i'd already got!

Since we have a low amount of entrants, would people rather do a 2 shorter races or keep the length as it is? My vote is keep the length. For me, I like a length long enough to force us not to be able to go full on attack mode without possibility of repercussions. While possible to do that in half an hour, it's far more possible double that time frame because of fatigue, zoning out, etc etc...whatever. .....and riding with a flatspotted tire or two for half an hour is a good 'learning' experience. But, I'm in for whatever others decide. TC and ABS always seemed to hinder me, more than help me. (I wonder if AMS has the same "penalty" system as rF with TC, mainly?)

I'd rather keep the distance. As pitstops may come into play too.

an hour is more of a proper race length

Im still not able to connect to server, so I think Ill have to skip this one, even I thought it could be doable.. Ill keep trying, but at the moment Im not finding the solution. I cannot see the server in the list either. But, I entered the server address manually and I can click the little + icon and it's already stored in there. The "join timed out" message is often associated with a wrong password. Rather than a message saying the password is incorrect, that message will often come up. So, as dumb as it sounds, you are sure you are putting in the password correctly, right? Not sure why everything would be working in the mod and offline....and for others to get on the server. It's got to be something really simple, surely...

Well, thank you all for help.
When I enter the "multyplayer" page, I have no servers of any kind, nothing.. When I enter IP address, our ISO server appears on the list. My guess is that it is visible and reachable.. however, when I enter the password, I get joint time out. With wrong password I get "bad password" message..
I dont know if there are any parameters which could be modified, but my Matchmarker adress line is empty (I dont know if that makes any difference).. I played a bit with connection type (LAN, modem, etc) and speeds, but nothing changes.
But, since Im using a pirate game, maybe it is the reason for not being able to connect, since, there are some other issues in game, for example, car class and logos are completely messed up..

So, if Raul is out, that leaves 6 of us. Are we going to do this race with only 6 participants? If not, I'm about to put in some practice elsewhere for some racing today. If so, I'll stick with this as I've committed to it and don't intend to jump around for no reason.

i don't mind putting it off for now, seeing if we can get more people involved and any bugs ironed out. my thoughts anyway.

We will postpone the race until a later date. 6 participant's is a bit too low.
Sorry to all, I was hoping we could attract more but I guess either people haven't seen the race or dont like the cars.

Yes that is likely the problem. The game keeps getting small updates via Steam, so if you don't have it as intended you miss those updates.

Ill just have to be patient a write a letter to santa Im glad this race is postoponed, I like this cars, and Id like to participate.. Im sure that occasional races with more modern cars are going to be wellcomed.. as a little refreshment..

My Santa came earlyer this year Is this server still up? I was thinking: if there is going to be this number of drivers on next atempt of racing, maybe we should choose shorter track.. I mean, 7, or even 10 of us, on RA, well, after few laps it will be like Im all by myself.. its just a suggestion. And maybe we should do more shorter races too..

i reckon lower powered caterhams around a more 'clubby' circuit might be be suitable
