I reckon the track is Silverstone, agree on late 80's early 90's. Not sure about the cars though.

Group C - Silverstone 1990 That's the same conclusion I came to 2 days ago, when I went to check what Silverstone looked like over the years. First checked F1 transmissions and narrowed it down to 88-90 but 88 was a wet race while 90 didn't have Shell sponsorship on the pit wall. But I think all years were missing the Vauxhall baner in the background, so first switch was to Group C racing and I am quite sure I could make out the same exact banners in the background of a shot from Copse If it's actually wrong, it could only be some other series in the same time frame. Sorry for guessing even "louder"
