The #8, #32 Porsche, #51, #57, #65 BMW's and #53 #54 Ford's are now available as one offs for this race due to their drivers not confirming their presence. If they confirm they’ll race their cars before any one else claims them, they can still race them.

Sorry guys, I've hurt my ancle (one of the ligaments) refereeing today so the ancle is 1,5 times its normal size and I can barely work it, so I'll have to sit this one out. Even if I can get the car off the line I'm liable to take someone out since I can't be sure I can get gears and braking donw the way I'm used to

Please remove me from the roster.
I don't enjoy the passive-aggressive attitude from the driving standard post. I suggest addressing your problems with "our" driving in a more mature, transparent way. The statement comes across as subliminal of... I don't even know what. I can assure you my driving standard is just fine.
I keep my head low and keep to myself, but it's become tiring how much energy is takes avoiding drama on an off track. Check yourself.
Thank you for the great fun though. 🥺

The post is for everybody, admins and helpers included. So it's also serving as self reflection.

Nevermind being on the podium! I want to apologise deeply to Ray Riddall for hitting him at the final chicane. You braked very early and I wasn't expecting it. Martin really bad luck! You thought the race was over a lap early and gave up a 3rd.

That was one I didn't enjoy at all. Got a surprisingly high starting position in Q, but that lap was beyond what was healthy and still half a second short of my previous best in testing. Not that that half second would have made a difference. The start, oh well...
When the grid finally rolled away, it went backwards, just as I expected. I had some early skirmishes with Bruno and Francisco, but it dawned relatively early to me, I just could keep up with them, because they were so involved with each other. Eventually Francisco could break free and made a distance, I got a bit closer to Bruno and at one point, I forced him into an error and could pass him, but I had to go much harder than what was actually in the car for me, just to keep him at distance. That went well for about 21 laps but then, I finally spun around. From there, I just rolled it home. Left rear tire completely shot, what el
I'm going to give it a good, long thought, if I'm going to burden myself again with this car. It was difficult to drive from the beginning, but lastly, one of the updates changed things to my worse. Since then, I'm not having the slightest of a clue what is going on in either end of the car. Either I slide haplessly understeering off the track, or I take an unexpteced sharp turn to the inside, but I never know what end is biting or leaving me. There is just no means for me to get the car into a reliable balance to be able to go safely fast and control the pace. Sorry to have to say it so, but that's quite the opposite of my idea of fun on a weekend...

There is just no means for me to get the car into a reliable balance to be able to go safely fast and control the pace. Sorry to have to say it so, but that's quite the opposite of my idea of fun on a weekend... I find the cars react to toe in changes front and rear very sensitively so might be worth playing around with these settings? I was using -35 front and rear +70 I believe at the rear and that really settled the car down. also another thing I noticed was if you trail brake these cars thank you for it. It stabilises the car into the turn and on exit - which is a win win because your tire temps will then be lower! Something I’ve had to learn is less is more with some mods! Be good if you can make the final race anyway thanks all - was a race I can safely say I’m thankful for it to be over. The concentration for the engine, tire management and the chicanes was immense! But that’s what makes this mod brilliant! Well done to all who finished, Good recovery to Richard! thanks all and thanks for the broadcast guys

As usual, I started with extra care and right after the accident between Ruben and Richard I found myself in 4th place. I knew it would be short-lived, I knew I had to preserve the tires and I was afraid the engine wouldn't handle the effort. I held Kayo for a while until he put it inside the ginkana and I wasn't willing to change car paints with anyone, the same happened with Francisco. I made a small mistake and Michael passed me too. I realized that my pace was better than Michael's and I spent most of the race just following his car, forcing the approach but, privately, I wouldn't force a pass until he, already without tires, spun the car. I could have been more combative, especially in the initial disputes but Jonatan's words were echoing in my head and after the countless accidents in division 2, I really was running in peace, not wanting war with anyone. Once I passed Michael I had a good margin of safety and just got the car to the finish line. Congratulations to Grant on the beautiful victory. As usual, the race broadcast was excellent.

Oh boy, fun and hectic race that was!
Drop of the flag... cars starting to pull away from me bit by bit.. had to turn up the boost more than quite a bit (was set low conservatively.. but raised more and more untill temps were within norms)..
Cars around kept it clean.. untill the pile up at the hairpin... where the goup in front of me was bunched up together and gave me some chance to try some manuevers on them... and Sorry Bruno for that lunge at the chicane.. i think i just overshot my brake marker as i was slisptreaming you... and thankfully you gave me room for that lunge...
But i certainly felt that flatspot and overheated tyres for more than a couple of corners untill it faded out...
Then came Wilkes and Fernandez... i couldn't keep them behind me... their cars were much better set up for the cornering.. and slipped by easily.. (going wide at exit of Kanaalbocht going into Lucien Bianchi didn't help either), after that.. it was just the matter of keeping it on the track... and then there was the Miller/Wilkes/Fernandez pile up at the 2nd chicane... i thought i had a chance of overtaking one of them... but Fernandez went straight into the pits, i thought he was going to continue racing.. so i went wide over the gravel... but managed to keep myself in the race... and then it was just lumbering on and finishing 5th..
Overall.. not bad of a race...
Oh and i didn't race in VR... it was a bit too much of a hassle with having to manage the turbo pressure, without having the buttons assigned to it on my wheel... But man! racing with the huge Alcantara Ferrari 488 Challenge rim was a blast!
