Unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to race.... The AMS closes while loading the track. Strangely, the cars don't appear in the showroom either. I did a new installation but I still have the same problem.

Try verify the files via steam.
Also make sure everything is installed correctly. If you run in windowed mode, that should enable any errors to pop up. If they do take a note and repost. We will be able to help more then.

I'll have to free the Nimrod as my G27 has finally stopped working.

Waste of effort. Never could find a decent balance all week long, and after the umpteenth try to start the race, my FFB had finally called it a day. I did an early tire change in the hope it'll restore it, but that wasn't the case. And while I was still musing if I better stop the car, because I was all over the place lacking the feedback if inadvertetly switched lanes, and being dead slow anyways for the same reason, the combination of the lacking FFB and the bad handling made the decision for me.

Have you tried setting a "reset force feedback" key in the options Michael? Always solves it for me if I have an issue.

I certainly did when I installed the game and it worked at some point, but either it did nothing today, or it went AWOL over time.

After the race finally got underway I enjoyed it a lot. Got Ruben with speed, Cezariusz with fuel strategy, and Juha finally got the better of me, but let me tell you, the fight with Juha, that was a race! Thank you for the good fight and congratulations to all podium finishers! I enjoyed the season a lot and I noticed compared to the beginning I now can keep up my concentration during longer races much better! I would say I'm looking forward to the shorter touring car races, but first I would have to learn how to not suck in qualyfying

First of all, congratulations to Richard and Tim for the overall championship win! Well deserved! Wasted my race with a small mistake on the start of the formation lap, which resulted in a drive through penalty. As if it wasn't enough I pitted and didn't serviced the penalty. On the following lap I serviced it and by that time was 50 seconds away from the car in front... From that moment on the only target was to reach the checkered flag. After my last pitstop Bruno was 35 seconds in front. Pushed all I could to catch him and still managed to pass a few laps from the end. Then a spin brought me back again and made a final effort on the last 2 laps to pass. Finished 0,2s behind. Great battle Bruno! Thank you David for the opportunity to drive with you at the beginning of the season! Thank you to the organizers for the available cars and the series! Had fun driving this 956! Hope to have a drive in the 2024 series and look forward to race with all of you! Cheers!

Thank you to everybody who took part in this champ, and helped us fill the grids for these long hard races Congrats to Grant for the win and to Coxon/Hille for champ.

Had a fun/interesting first stint but got screwed when it came time to pit due to the pitstall being occupied by Ray. By some good fortune, we were able to avoid any delays for the second stop (he literally left the stall when i arrived).
Was able to recover to 10th at the end.
Thanks for the season.

Thank you for the good fight and congratulations to all podium finishers! I enjoyed the season a lot and I noticed compared to the beginning I now can keep up my concentration during longer races much better! I would say I'm looking forward to the shorter touring car races, but first I would have to learn how to not suck in qualyfying It was fun indeed! I still had an outside chance to win the championship, but it required for me to win the race and Coxon/Hille to finish 8th or lower. Very unlikely. I tried my best, qualifying on row 1 and briefly taking the lead. Grant was much faster though and Coxon overtook me when I started trying too hard to open up a gap, although I managed to stay close and even stretch my fuel load an extra lap so I wasn't out of sync with him. My pit stall was occupied the lap before so that was a good decision. My second stint was a mess. I'm usually fairly consistent in endurance races, but this time I was consistently going off. I got as close as two seconds to Tim before I set out on exploring various pieces German grass and gravel. By my third stint I was fending off Gabriel and it was really exciting. And I thought the close racing was reserved for touring cars next year. So I ended the WEC season with another third place. Still not good enough to win the series despite one of my dropped scores being another third place, Richard and Tim were better. Congratulations to them, and Grant on finally bringing a Lancia home in first place. Thank you to everyone who joined us!

First of all thank the people who have created this mod and have spent their time to achieve this amazing championship, you did it again My qualifying was good and I was a thousandths away from second place and light years away from amazing Grant's lap so fourth place for me. I tried to follow the leaders, but I did many mistakes, excursions and I didn’t feel comfortable with the car. I was not able to save fuel and maintain the pace with the Lancia, Grant was in other galaxy and I tried to mantain Gabriel’s pace but not was my day so I decided finish the race and check if I had fixed my desktop error (I think running steam as an administrator have resolved my issue) but this time was my graphic card, my screen froze for a while, got black whith small color squares and after few seconds trying to scape to avoid a crash with other cars my car appeared just ahead of Jules and Grant, so sorry guys I couldn’t do nothing, and crashed into the barrier so my race finished. Congrats to Grant for the final victory with Lancia, Richard and Tim for the Championship and Juha for fight until the end for the champ, and thanks to all who participated in these races. I hope deserve a wheel in the next champions and continue to be part of this amazing group of enthusiasts

It was great to be on the grid and race historic cars. I was trying to squeeze everything from the car and strategy. I had fun every single lap. I'm sorry about some miscommunication, the mirrors were useless even the virtual. (View blocked by the firewall) I couldn't see behind to be able to position the car properly when being lapped. Other than that I had a blast!!!
Congrats to all finishers and winners!!
Happy holidays!

I'm a bit dissapointed with no points from the race, but the Nimrod was probably a bit too heavy due to that 6,XL V8 engine and stuff, but it was, as has been the case on all tracks apart from Fuji, good fun to drive.
Had a battle early on with Thiago but couldn't do anything to keep up with his immense fuel-saving.
Later on, a battle ensued with Jason and Filippo, both were a good deal of fun, if a bit frustrating as they were so much faster in certain sections while I had to attack like crazy in the few spots were I had any kind of similarity in speed. Cheers for good, hard but also fair battles! Overall, happy to have put Nimrod into the Manufacturers standings with 2 points in total.

Strange. Maybe check it hasn't become unbound. Well, in the meantime I checked it, and two things had happened: - Indeed the 'Reset FFB' had become unattached to the assigned key. Could be, because earlier this year, I had to reassign part of the functions for some reason. - The more curious thing that happened was something in the controls menu, where the effects were no longer based on the chosen wheel presets, but to gamepads. Which would explain why I had az least effects when hitting a curb. It is very odd, because I certainly hadn't openend that menu in a while. Something must have gone astray during the many restarts. On all other warmup laps before, things were fine. Else, it relects the whole season pretty well, a struggle all around. Too many crashes, rarely ever got really connected to the car and if so, I was still depressingly slow and always tight on fuel. And that issue with the physics early on didn't help motivation and confidence, too. Let's hope for a better 2024...
