Great result at my "spa" with an aging Maserati 250F finishing in place 6 , nice little victory if I may say so. congrats everyone who made it. Unfortunately the lag was huge during race , maybe on my side don't know if others experienced this too.
Well done Dutchies!

Double Lotus crash at Burnenville in lap 3. Jules got wide and crashed into the house on the outside, I followed him suit. Remember: never look at the car in front of you...
Until then, the restarted race was fine.
Yea that was a weird one. Wasn't pushing at all. Car drifted too much and couldn't save it. For me, I was just looking at your arse and not on my line and realised to late I was on the same fateful trajectory, but yeah, the front was a bit loose in that moment, as well. It wasn't as bad as with the Maserati, which gave no room for corrections when it was on the wrong path, but also the Lotus gave me a few strange "how did I get there?"-moments. One lap you got perfect control of the slip angle, the next, there is no useful feedback.

A good 4th place for me, the Vanwalls were playing in another league and Robin did a fantastic job. The first start i was stuck behind Grant that i think was taking a nap and i lost 5 positions. At Burneville i saw a Maserati or a Ferrari flying and unfortunately it landed exactly on me starting the big crash, sorry for the message on the chat. The restart went better, kept position and i spent the opening laps with Juha's Ferrari overtaking each other like the last time in Belgium with the 58 cars. He spun at la Carriere leaving me to deal with the rampant Petr and his Vanwall. For a while i could keep the pace of Niklas and Petr and the battle with the latter was really fun. However i really had to drive on the limit and very precise to match their pace and both me and the car couldn't sustain that stress for an entire race. Very good race and big congrats to the podium. I want also to congratulate Bruno for his race and the well deserved points, finishing the race in your conditions is admirable, well done!

AMS messed with me again. It happens randomly that it starts to lag like crazy. It's pulling 120-180 FPS, yet it lags as if it was running at 20. It usually helps to run it as admin. Well, it didn't help this time in quali. I crashed out, had to sit for 20 minutes and then finally did a half-decent lap. Rebooted PC, run AMS Config as admin and then AMS too and boom, the picture was butter smooth for the race. I really don't understand this sim. Anyway, I was the slowest Vanwall, but still not too deep in the grid. The first start wasn't bad for me and I drove through the carnage. The "real" start later also wasn't that bad and I ended up in a long fight with Giovanni. But it's necessary to say that we were not having equal conditions, as my Vanwall was clearly faster in straight line. Giovanni was trying really hard, he drove a great race, but he simply didn't have enough horsepower to pull ahead. On the other hand, I was handicapped by spending three days on a curling tournament - too much time on ice, way too much booze and too little sleep didn't help on Sunday evening, if you know what I mean I tried to close the gap on Niklas for the rest of the race. We had lots of fun in 5 short races to start the HSO season, so I was looking forward for more here at Spa. He was mostly 4-6s ahead, but I gave up after some wake-up calls (quite literally...) towards the end of the race. P3 was a fine finish in the end. Off to Phoenix and try to put that Footwork crapwagon on the grid

Several freezes and error messages during the qualy for me Then, I was caught up in a pile-up on the first lap of the first start, so I gave up and joined my mates who were drinking beers and... I didn't notice that a second start was being given.... Too bad!

First of all thanks to the admins. Good job to finally get most (all?) cars on the grid after the problems we all had with the game crashing.
In qualy I couldn’t reproduce my lap times from practice, so it was P5. All went wrong in the first start attempt then. Flag dropped, but Grant wasn’t in the mood to get going yet. So Giovanni and me had to wait a few seconds, I dropped down to 9th. The crash at Burneville: One red car crashed, another red car crashed into that, I crashed into both despite slamming the brakes. Slowly continued with bent suspension, having a good look at the wrecks spread all over Burneville.
Second start was much better, I was in P4 into Eau Rouge, then had a fun little fight with Rubén. Saw him losing control and having a big impact at Masta right in front of me. In lap 2, Grant had a nasty crash, too. Robin was pulling away at an insane rate so I already knew P2 would be the best possible result. I was a bit worried when Petr came through into P3. He was closing the gap a little bit in the middle part of the race. It was only 2-3 tenths a lap though and I was able to control the situation, just concentrated on not crashing out. Plus I had a bit more luck with lapping other cars, I think. Anyway, a nice reminder of the race we had a couple of weeks ago at Spa in the 1937 GP cars.
Happy with P2 in the end, Enzo not so much. But who cares. Move on to Phoenix, it will take some work to get the Larrousse qualified.

Just a small thing I noticed and wanted to say however. When there is a crash, no matter how big could we please refrain from speaking during the race? Got to remember there are still 20+ drivers all still driving and don’t need the added distraction. Let the admins deal with any restart if they feel one is needed. Anyway thanks again for a fun evening guys! Thanks Juha for sorting it Thank you Grant, and everybody else, for the kind words. I tried my best to keep all drivers present in the show. Ideally, any chat messages during a qualifying or race session should be a whisper to an admin. In this case I got distracted and my race was over. However, once I looked at the number of retirements, and the accident itself, I could understand why the messages were sent. It was an exceptional situation, which I hope will never repeat itself.

Another thing that is really bothering me for a while now is not taking care under yellow. I would have made it through the carnage at Burnenville, but then got one from behind, after which the car was pretty askew. I always thought, there is no overtaking under yellow and act to that (unless stationary or obviously limping cars), but last season, I already lost three or four positions under yellow at various incidents, not the freak yellows one sometimes sees at pit entry or exit. And some of them blasted by as if there was no tomorrow...

First race for more than for years, my first also on Automobilista, on a very difficult mod, what a challenge ! I trained a lot to regain a correct level My goals are achievef : not to be a chicane mobile, not to bother anyone and... survive ! Juste a little slip at the bottom of "raidillon" by catching my Friend Bruno 😉 Bravo John for you vidéo Sorry, Juha, I forgot the important briefing !

Even when trying hard I couldn't get closer to you. The Ferrari could have done with a 5-speed box instead of a 4 and I really should have gone for shorter gears. I didn't want to risk the engine, but instead I crashed when trying to make up for the deficit. I'll try to do better in F1 1991, with yet another yellow car.
