A question guys. I was testing different fuel mixtures for race trim. It is normal than lowing to 0.4 the oil temperature reaches 105º? My engine it is going to last 5 laps. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance
PS: And also I am having desconnections of my wheel. Only happens the race day (Simucube 2 Pro - OSP GTR Wheel)

The only advice i can give according engine temp.... Do not overrev, shift when the lights come on !! Dragging the car on the gear not shifting is skyrocketing the temp imho. Its ok to risk it in Q but the engine can blow u always have the random nr generator !

I just can't... with everything that's been going on around me...
I just don't feel like it... can't keep pace.. can't keep my temper down...
And instead of potentially being a menace because i'm in a bad mood... i won't participate...

I had limited practice due to it being 35°C here, but was delighted to be fastest minnow in 18th place with a 1:19.0, having copied my setup over from Magny Cours and put some extra wing on. The race start was interesting, cars going in all directions like torpedos. And one of them ended my race after one lap and two corners, a Ligier, mid spin, spearing into my starboard side and harpooning me into the wall before continuing on its merry way. One to forget.

Well that's my first ISO race in the book and man was it something huh? Qualified last, survived the many deaths up front and kinda just chilled by myself until I spun and got suspension damage. Once I got that repaired I decided to repeat the same thing since I am very smart person (lol) and got more damage. Was going to carry on but my game then crashed from what I believed due to excessive memory usage. None the less. I had fun and I learned a lot. So thank y'all for having me (PS. Holy smokes y'all are fast haha)

Racked up another 7th place, but what to expect with a completely rotten qualifying and more spins in a race than Nikita Mazepin?
The Hungaroring is always a bit of a love-hate relationship to me, it has a few nice corners, and for some odd reason, I always manage to finish reasonably well, but lacks a bit flow, is exhausting to drive, keeping the tires and engine in check is an ordeal, as is overtaking in this place. I was out of town for 1 1/2 weeks and just returned late on thursday, so I lacked a bit the time to truly sort out the car. The car is thankfully quick enough to haul it on the grid anyways, but 20th is not what I expected, but then, I hit a hard limit around 1:19.0, no matter what tires I attached.
I did quite some laps on friday and saturday, and had something I basically liked. But in warmup, it struck me I was seriously lacking top speed, so I took of some rear wing and balanced the whole thing, adjusted the gears and owing to some input, I significantly lowered the car and made it a bit softer both in springs and dampers. I went out and was immediately 2 seconds faster on my first flying lap, that might be the way to go. I also took of some fuel as the ingame calculation suggested I needed some less than what I calculated before - made sense, as I was hauling less drag. I took the restart of the WA session as an opportunity to visit the bathroom. When I returned, I had 13 seconds left to load the setup and get on the grid, now what a start! Also, at the end of the warm-up lap, I overshot my grid box and had to reverse. I just didn't see it
As a compensation, I had a really good start, and I didn't even went full in, but I had some luck with gaps in front of me, and went up like 14th or 13th. But the events a few positions ahead made me cautious, I had to go through the grass to avoid a crippled ... McLaren? Ferrari?? Can't remember, but I had to let a few cars pass again and thus was back in 16th. Soon I got at the end of a long train of cars, behind Oscar Thiim. On a free track, I could have gone faster, but everyone else might say that too. Well, Hungary always plays the long game! Unfortunately, I had my first incident at lap 5 and had to let a Footwork pass. I could pass it again in a daring move and quickly close the gap to Oscar again, and slowly improved my positions by other peoples incidents and the realities of their material. I was quite faster than Oscar, had a few stabs at him, but that track isn't very supportive of overtaking, and my last second setup changes ran a bit in the wrong direction in the long run. The softer springs helped keeping the tire temperatures down, but actually seemed to increase the wear, and what hurt more, before the changes, the car would kind of align itself, which made it pretty safe at the limit. A bit hard to describe, if one end got loose, the car would basically correct itself, often even without corrections on my end. It kind of hung stable in its slip angle. A dream to drive. But not today, I had significantly closed the window where the car would work well, and thus I made many mistakes, some spins, some offs, a limited number of lines I could drive, sometimes the car would just slide off track, and as it got lighter, the rear end became very loose, and the front was a bit to overeager climbing the curbs. Oscar's car ceased its operations, though, so I went after the next car, Brian. I could shorten the gap, but the car became unpleasant to drive and I lost quite some time in various off-track excursions, so at lap 35, I went to the pits and fetched new tires. Worked well, the car behaved well and I could quickly shorten the gap to the next cars, and was able to undercut a few drivers. Richard had already pitted and was stuck behind David in the Ferrari, as it seemed, and I could quickly shorten the gap. If I got both of them, I'd be in 7th, and I was pretty certain, someone else up front would still drop out. A dozen of laps or so later, a red rocket was on the track in an unintended direction, and Juhas Benetton called it a day, as well. Richard wasn't that far away, too, but going after him, my rear end suddenly lost traction in the fast righthand downhill bend, and it took very long for me to get back on the track, which allowed David to pass me again. The next few laps were a bit frustrating, but it turned out to be very frustrating trying to get past the Ferrari in a car, that was about 2.5s a lap quicker. He defended his position well, but it took me a quite determined effort into T1 to finally get by. I chased after Richard and was significantly quicker than him, and more than once got into less 10 seconds of him, at one point even less than 5, but the car was very touchy and sensitive at the limit and my laptimes were pretty inconsistent. Both front and rear end would let go here and there. I could get the gap under 9 seconds at the finish, with the 3rd quickest time of the day, but I definitely lost more than 40 seconds out there with all the incidents. Oh well...
I'll be in Paris next weekend, and then, its already the annual August break. Lets see what the rest of the season brings...

What a race! The tires were absolutely gone at the end. Started on hard fronts and medium rears. I would have gone hard on the rears as well but the balance on the car was not as good. The old mediums meant my exit speeds were a bit slow at the end.
I've always liked this track and tend to do well here so I thought I had a decent chance but wasn't sure how the end would play out. I was mostly unlucky with the traffic aspect throughout the race. Nothing major but some time was definitely lost that shouldn't have been.
Had a fantastic two part battle with Grant (early on and then at the end). You really made me work for this one!

A nice race for me with a few mistakes here and there. Qualifying was good with a lap a bit more than half a second off teammate Rubén, only put me 15th though.
Made a good start but got squeezed into the wall so had to back out of it, only to see chaos ensue in front of me. Managed to get through ok, but so did Mark M Wittmann in the AGS who did a good job defending from a train of faster cars (Niklas myself and Brian). I got through on Niklas after he made a mistake and tried to get Mark into the first corner, but I guess from too far back and got the door closed on me ( or I drifted out too wide, I haven't seen the replay yet) which sent me in a spin.
A lonely race after that. Finished were I probably would've finished without the spin. And - I was prime spectator for the last lap shenanigans for the race lead. Fair play guys!

What a disaster. I was optimistic going into qualifying, Anders helped me with a good setup and the car felt very consistent.
Put in a decent banker lap (1:17.5) in my first run and was fifth. Then I messed up every other lap and dropped down to 13th. It was a shame, a mid 1:16 was definitely possible.
Immediately after green light I got hit by a Leyton House which damaged the right rear suspension and caused severe understeer. Kept pushing around P10 but too much. Understeered onto a curb, then spun to the inside and lost the front wing plus more suspension damage. 120 second pit stop to repair... Handling and pace was good afterwards but some other cars really made it hard for me to unlap myself, more time lost. Then there was a fun battle with Petr for P11. Couldn't get through, so I pitted for new tyres around lap 50. On new rubber I quickly caught Petr again and could finally make the move into turn 1.
A few laps before the end I caught Mark and another battle unfolded, this time for P10. There was some contact, maybe a little too hard driving from both of us. But my car remained intact, I hope Mark's as well. Could finally move ahead with two laps to go and finish P10, 3 laps down.
7 races done for me, but I still haven't had a clean, incident-free weekend which is a bit annoying. Let's try again next time...

Thank you everyone for last night, was really fun. I admittedly am kicking myself over last night, I was opting for a 2 stop strategy, but I ended up pitting 5 laps earlier than planned after I had to take avoiding action from someone on the grass coming back onto the track, putting me behind Anders. So I pitted and then decided to just open the car up as much as possible with saving my tires to get to lap 50, lap 50 came and I saved my tires more than expected and decided to just go for it. Came down to the last lap, my Pirelli’s were literally dead. After this race, I knew I had to give it an go so I did into the chicane, I do feel maybe moving under breaking slightly was done and contact was made but it’s the last lap, and me and Jules wasn’t going to give an inch so it’s all good from my end, hard defending and hard attacking , I pulled over however as it’s not how I wanted to overtake for the lead with the contact so I decided to pull aside. Still, 2nd was a good result, and a mega battle start and end with Jules! Well done though - taking that to the end on a non stopper? Very impressed! Thank you Jason for the broadcast and to Jonatan and Juha

I was hoping my defense would deter any divebomb and thought you might back out but was a little surprised you stuck with it. But I love good hard racing like that. Thanks for the fights. Was exhausted yesterday.

I thought that this would be a tough race for me and the Ferrari and it was. I don't like the track and couldn't find a good balance with the car, either understeer or cook the rear tyres. Qualified 12th, as the track got hotter I went slower. A good race start and staying away from any accidents got me up to 9th position which I held for a lot of laps. As people pitted I decided to stay out and see where I ended up, 6th. Then Wilks caught up and was pressuring around the back of the track but the S/F straight my car was much faster, I think that I had lower wings. I stayed 6th or was it 7th until the leaders came to lap me and made a big mistake that let Wilks through and I lost control having a small spin dropping me to 9th again. Later with the tyres worn out I lost the rear knocking the front wing off. Long pit stop, and then some battling with Petr which was a fun way to end the race. Well done to Jules, Grant and Anders. Thanks for the broadcast I watched it today.

After months with my wife's illness (she is still ill but we are in the good way) I really wanted to race again so it was time to debut with the Leyton. I would like to thank to John Thim and Anders Nilsson for the setups and advices. I need to understand more of the Leyton's setup. I couldn't prepare the qualy as I would have liked, anyway and surprisingly P8 was not as bad as I thought, but I could have done P5 if in the two last attempts I had not failed. My race lasted 200 m, a good start but...I couldn`t avoid a "missil" called John ahead of me , so my race was over, it is not the debut that I would have liked to have (so sorry for John) Congrats to Jules, Grant and Anders, and Jason in the broadcast. See you on track
