Guys, would somebody be willing to share a setup for 74 Eagle if I made a last minute entry? It looks like I should be at home just in time for quali

Thanks a lot Juha. I haven't raced on an oval for quite some time, I don't expect any good result. Just want to drive. Book me a #5 then. Thank you

Haven't had this happen before. Lap 10, the cord to my pedals disconnected. Wasn't sure what was going on. Rolled into the pits thinking I maybe had a connection loss or a mechanical. Tried to stop in my stall and sailed right thru. I exited the game before I figured it out. No great loss, my effort was pedestrian at best. Just could not get below 29 secs, qual or race. I appreciate the setup Juha but it was way to late for this hack.

Unfortunately I blew the engine in the first outlap in qualy, so only one timed lap which put me in P4.
Lost only two positions in the opening laps which I count as a success. Until around lap 20 it was extremely close in the leading group, some nice battles. I tried to save fuel. When I saw Anders checking out in front, I turned up the engine and passed Petr, John, Robin and finally Juha. Clean air then, but I couldn't quite match Anders' times. Took 148 liters of fuel and right side tyres in the first stop. The gap to Anders continued to increase slowly during the second stint, up to 8 seconds. 118 liters refuel and again only right side tyres in the second stop, the gap was down to 5 seconds.
The HUD told me fuel was fine so I increased the boost, then a bit more, then to maximum. The gap came down but Anders speeded up, too. The left rear was completely worn out by now and I had a few moments when the car snapped on throttle application. In the end, finished two seconds behind Anders, I think it wasn't too bad.
Thanks for the event, see you in the next one.

Wow didnt see this one happen being in a eagle 72 . Second on the gridd not bad at all even tho i fudged my Q abit. Jeff scared the living shit out off me on my second lap screaming "car on the left " lol. Juha got it grats to him . His racepace wasnt as quick tho i felt pressure from behind manage to get by and as Piastri said" Free air is king". Held my position to pit took two tyres and 133 liter. Second stint was a time war betwen me and Kirsten ,pitted earlier than him took 3 tyres and 133 liters . From there Kirsten closed on me i started to boost up abit fuel was no issue ! Manage to hold on even tho last lap corner scare cost me a sec won by 1.8 sec Not bad at all in an old 72 To bad tho we were so few on the gridd and so many good cars left at home .,

Nope, could not extract any speed from the Dick Simon Eagle Foyt, not fuel mileage either. Car felt very draggy, very tight, and very unresponsive to setup changes, though I suspect I ran the car very stiff for this track. I scraped the wall a couple of times, and when I upped the boost after falling a lap down, the handling went away and I damaged the suspension beyond reason. Shame I didn't come to understand this car better for this one!

I have never felt comfortable racing at Milwaukee, so to finish one place better than where I started makes me happy Had to avoid two cars spinning in front of me, but calmly reduced speed and got by without panicking. Pit strategy was key on the last stop; short filling the car and changing only 3 tires; this helped ensure that I finished ahead of Simon and Luciano. I echo Anders' sentiment about the small field; it's too bad there weren't more participants. Anyway, it's August break time now. Everyone take care, we'll see you on track in September.

Pole was as good as it was going to get at this place. I like ovals, but I struggle to find race pace around the slower ones. I was surprised to lead the race for as long as I did, I wasn't surprised I ended up crashing after trying to get more oversteer into the car (and it did oversteer, into a wall).
Thanks to everyone who joined us, enjoy the summer break!
