Had a fairly decent showing in the Nimrod. Just like old times, it was like saying hello to a long-lost friend when I jumped into the car.
Didn't get to qualify as I joined up quite late (refereed floorball like usual), but made it to the back of the grid.
Had one goal in the race, to finish ahead of Al Jr. Was able to do so and I were only some 15-20 seconds behind the closest 956 ahead and also were able to finish ahead of a couple of them, even though it was through the misfortune of others, it was still a nice thing to accomplish.
But it has to be said, the Nimrod clearly are made to go quick at Le Mans, it has very little bite in the front-end in most places.
But overall, no matter how the lacking the car performance is, the sound of that Aston Martin engine makes up for any shortcomings, such a joyride.

Went over expectation tbh, did my first Q laps in Q man the grip u get from em Qtyres is just lovely . Did a really good start and got up to 4th. Tryed to stay with Gio and Kirsten but i felt there pace was beyond me and my fuel consumtion . Took it it steady was pleased with 4th had good consistency ! In the latter stage off race i was gaining on Gio and thanks to some spare fuel i overtook him for 3rd and brought a podium home . No way to do anything agains thoose two in the front wd lads Grant and Kirsten
