Fucking idiots, sopher had the best contents F1 and Indy all around. There is still his 2nd channel and also the indy snake at least for the CART side, but the F1 thing is a damned shame. I guess they are realizing that it is better to watch past seasons than modern F1, no wonder the audience is dropping like stones with those idiotic hybrid cars driven by morons with no personality in lacklustre tracks.

I was really enjoying watching the old american F1 broadcasts. Lot's of extra insight with John Bisignano in the pits interviewing the drivers and team personel...

In the dictionary, under "farce" it should say, "See the 1984 Dallas GP"

Not a very interesting race but a great record of drivers-vs-USAC drama.

Holy crap... I just watched that last night(and when I mean last night, it was basically early morning)!
I think I found it recommended on YT and didn't see it here first.

The Offenhauser is certainly one of the best designs ever under free rules and was basically strangled progressively by USAC in a display if stupidity that one can only lament. We have seen many times how the idiots at FIA, USAC and other series panic over a dominating engine or chassis and target it, but the tragedy with the Offenhauser is that it was very cheap to buy and maintain and accesible to any shade tree mechanic-racer. Outlawing that engine in favor of the expensive Cosworth also basically left the teams at the mercy of the engine company in terms of design and development. But it's the late 70s and F1 would also soon be going down that route forbidding customer chassis and also strangling the more underfunded teams, so I guess the USAC was just following the sign of the times. The golden era of the private underfunded teams was declining rapidly, and soon enough only deep pockets would be able to fight for wins.

Hey so I wanted to download the replays from F1-1991 Suzuka and Adelaide races. But the link seems to be broken?

Both links are working fine here Brian.
EDIT:
It may be that your browser is playing up, I know that it has happened to me in the past so if you have a back-up browser give that a go and see if it works.
If that doesn't work, let us know and we'll sort something out. /Jonatan

Funnily enough, Tai Woffinden is a distant relation to my Mrs. Think it's a second cousin or something like that, never met him but have met his mother at a family wedding.

Speedway is awesome. I once was at a race @ Falubaz Zielona Gora. 2nd league even. But once you see it - you are hooked. Long time ago. It wasnt even a real stadium like it is now. A distant relative is doing much of their PR as a photographer and is hanging out with Dudek. Ppl. in Motorsports are mostly all cool and relaxed it seems.
