For your information, this is your 4th different one-off team (R1: Williams, R2: Osella, R3: Osella, R4: Osella, R5: Osella, R6: Haas, R7: Tyrrell), which is the maximum for one-off drivers per the rules So your future one-off drives in F1 after Detroit would have to be one of these 4 teams

Thankful to test different cars, hope for a good race

The #14 Zakspeed is now available as one off for this race due to Brian Janik not confirming his presence. If he confirms he’ll race his car before any one else claims it, he can still race it.

Hi guys, I woke up ill, with a headache and stomach pain. I was waiting if I got better but it is not the case, so much to my regret I am not in good shape to race, so if Brian read the message, could race with the 29. So sorry for this last minute message. Have fun guys

Wheel disconnected itself. Really really gutted, made a silly error by dropping to 3rd gear in T1 as a result of the bottle neck and Jonatan running wide spooked me. No one's fault bar my own. Damaged my rear suspension then. Able to battle past some cars but then the wheel disconnected. Really disappointed as I believe I had the pace for a podium, engine temps were ideal and never overheating. A massive lost opportunity.

I had my best qualifying for Minardi.
Then started poorly again. I need to work on starts for good. On second lap I found a Ligier parked in the road and couldn't avoid it. Lost front wing, went for pits, and returned to track trying to compensate it by being super hero. Crashed again, another stop but this time took 183s. Time to cool down the nerves, unlapped myself on a couple of cars, not caring much more about temps, but then I lost concentration on main straight and miss totally braking point. I did enough to save the car from the barriers and could return, but since it wasn't working at all, better stay out and think about next one...
Oops, next one I will be traveling to Brazil after three years, so will miss it. I will try to race in Brands Hatch tough if my computer I left in my mother's house still runs AMS.
Thank you to Admins for another great event and to all in broadcast!!!

CarBQ, but I suppose the birthday gift was getting a chance to really enjoy the historic racing atmosphere cultivated here. Finally got a glimpse of pace out of the car vs. the other cars similar to my own's performance.

Was very easy on the engine the whole way, no missed shifts, no high revs, and temps were mostly around 102C. Just one of those days.
Late in the race I let Jonathan by as my engine could not deal with that pace and would've been happy to finish anywhere here.

WooHoo 6th place and a point . That feels like a win today. I had to use my backup pc and the main pc refused to start , I had set up the backup pc to run AMS before hand incase this happened but when I started AMS everything was set wrong, I got it all right and then at the end of qualifying AMS crashed and then when restarting AMS my player had been deleted taking all of the setting with it, (thanks Ray for sending your setup ). After all of that I didn't feel like racing but I just managed to get it working before the race start. Just hoping to finish. My car was quick at the start of the race and moved up to 10th but the setup had B tyres on the front and before long they overheated a lot, there was nothing I could do to cool the tyres but slow down, this dropped me well down the field. From there I was never going to get back towards the front so it was drive steady until the finish (if the car made it that far). At the pitstop I put C's all round and the car was ok with its tyres until the end of the race. Sorry for all whose engines failed but thats racing. I don't know who won yet but I'll go and watch the broadcast .

Finished watching the broadcast now. It was great to hear Wilks again in the booth and Juha was great as colour commentary.
Congrats to the all Swedish podium! Very deserved at this unforgiving and dare I say, stupid circuit.
But yes for my race, zero boost was used, no overrevving, no missed shifts. During pre-race practice I could not finish a race distance, so I knew it would be all about engine management, which I did from the beginning and as well as during the fight with Gabriele and Anders. Looking forward to Paul Ricard, which should suit this car more than Detroit, although still not the most ideal circuit.
