Finally after multiple DNF’s and two 4th place finishes… a podium finish! Great start, managed my pace and every now and then kept reducing the boost to keep in fuel and manage the engine. Rollercoaster of a race. Was out of sync setup wise from everyone else it seems but it was a setup that worked for me! I finished with 0.0l left. My engine literally stopped a few yards from the line! Great Job Richard and David. Tim too that was a great race! Now hopefully we can get one better at monza and take the fight to get that win Thanks all and Jason, Ryan for the broadcast

Hello Team, thanks for hosting this amazing event and thanks for let me take part on it.
I've been following some of the races with this 1986 mod and thought about asking to take part in a race.
Simply amazing mod, i've never played automobilista before, and the reality is impressive compared to other sims, had to much fun preparing for the race and felling those turbos, so good!
Unfortunaly i let the Haas stall and couldnt figure a out how to start the engine again, i tihnk this is allowed only in the pits hehe.
Congratz to the podium and the finishers of this race.
Next step is to train some starts with those beasts
Have a good week !!

Frustrating and premature end to my race. I couldnt avoid Matt Sibanyoni when he rejoined the race track after he spun. Qualifying was terrible too with no lap set. Car had huge potential. Will see if I can participate in the next race with better results.

Really enjoyed racing last night, the Mclaren suited this track well , I was under on fuel ready to turn it up in the last few laps, but the engine had other ideas. Well done to Richard, David & Grant.
Thanks for the broadcast.

With a fine setup from my great friend Gabriele nice driving and see where we end up racing with my friends. Fun entertainment on a great track, no illusions just nice racing, hope I didn't get in the way of the fast guys too much!

Always a pleasure racing at this faboulous track, qualy was ok, could not do much better. The first half of the race was fun, i had a good start and gained 3 positions thanks to the extra grip of D compound, the plan was to be as fast as possible before the first stop , i tried the medium tyres during practice to avoid the pit stop but the time loss and the complete lack of grip convinced me to do the opposite.
I managed to stay ahead of both the ligiers keeping an eye on the fuel gauge and pace was good, i had an hairy moment when battling with Luciano and suddenly i saw his car flying over my head at Hella's chicane. Gilles stopped and i was sure that John also was on the same strategy ( i think he was on Soft)and when he passed me i pitted for fresh D's.
After the stop i pushed hard for the first 3 or 4 laps waiting for John's stop but after a while was clear that he was not pitting at all and i had to manage fuel. If you were on C tyres John, you had a really good pace and your tyre management was amazing. With fresh tyres Gilles came close and we had a battle passing each other for several laps, then he spun at the chicane and my position was secured.
The guys in front had an impressive pace even considering the fuel management so... chapeau.
Great victory Richard and congrats to the other guys on the podium, big bravo for Matt too, he broke the ice with F1 cars finally! Thanks to Jason and Ray for the superb ( as usual) broadcast. Now head on to Spa and then a well deserved rest before my home race in Monza.

Since I could'nt be anywhere close the top drivers pace no matter compound or setup my aim was to be best of the rest. I was more comfortable on the harder compounds and chosed not to stop running on Hard tires. Not the right choise for outright pace. But I luckely got a clear track to work with in the end and It would'nt have mattered result-vise anyways. We where very even on pace Gio and also Gilles. Was a nice battle! Congrats to the podium and top runners!

Congrats to the podium and top runners! Yeah tire choice wasn't so critical here. My tire temps were around 100C. On 2.1 boost the Renault was falling behind the leaders and going higher on the boost wasn't going to work. Probably the worst track all season for the engine, but I love the track itself.

You need both. Mine are letters i and k on keyboard. So when I needed to pit for damage (7-minute pit stop), in order to preserve my engine I turned it off (I never remember if i or k but one of them), and 5 seconds before the estimate I fired the engine on again: pressed i and then k. It looks like a Ford Maverick 😬 Better luck next time cara!

Late comments here due to a extremely busy last week.
Feeling relief for getting my first points with the Williams. It was being a shame for me that zero. It became near in some races (Belgium, Detroit, Germany, Hungary) but every race something happened and it turn into.a kind of curse that was psicologicaly heavy.
Great, great thanks to Coxon for helping me with a final moment setup that slightly increased the performance but completely solved my fuel consumption problem and allowed me to fight in the front pack until a couple of little mistakes and a spirit of self preservation from the "curse" infected me to just bring it home.
Good vacations for all.

Not sure where best to post this, but I think I've uncovered a bug (forgive me if I'm wrong) with the AGS. It seems the front right heats up far quicker than the front left, so unbalanced braking force. No idea if that's true to life, but if it's not the only thing I could see in the HDV was this:
[FRONT LEFT] BrakeResponseCurve=(170,540,700,1730) // First value is cold temperature (where brake torque is half optimum), min temp for optimum brake torque, max temp for optimum brake torque, and overheated temperature (where brake
[FRONT RIGHT] BrakeResponseCurve=(-70,540,700,1730) // First value is cold temperature (where brake torque is half optimum), min temp for optimum brake torque, max temp for optimum brake torque, and overheated temperature (where brake torque is half optimum)
For whatever reason, it's the front right that heats up faster which doesn't make sense to me. Maybe it's something hidden in another file, but thought it was peculiar and should mention it.

That is indeed a typo, altough the only thing that does is affect the brakes when they are cold.Once up to temperature, it doesnt affect them, nor how quick or slow they heat up. Download the mod again please, and this should be fixed now. Thank you for telling us.

Thank you! I probably set my ride height too low then...I'll have a play around and feedback if I spot something amiss. If you don't hear back about it, assume I did just fudge up my car setup

Thank you! I probably set my ride height too low then...I'll have a play around and feedback if I spot something amiss. If you don't hear back about it, assume I did just fudge up my car setup It was rideheight...! I have another question about the mod: How the hell do you get the tyres up to temperature around Monza? Quali tyres barely getting over 90 and softs getting towards 90 with the exception of the front left at the second Lesmo. Naturally, the front right is doing nothing around Monza so that's nowhere near 100. Do I over inflate these and do crazy things with the pressures, overwork my tyres, or will I be better off just aiming for balanced (higher inner, lower outer) temps whilst working on getting the tyres into the pressure window for best grip? It doesn't look like super softs would make the distance but I've barely messed around with them.
