I know that some people here have classics/youngtimers besides their daily drive, so I thought I would open a thread so that you can show your pride and joy and talk about it with the rest. I'm starting with my 1991 Fiesta RS Turbo, which I got recently after a long time searching for one in decent condition (Not easy as few were produced and most were either crashed or trashed). It's a one owner, 95.000 miles example, although being 30+ years old it needs some work done, but I love it. Here are some pics of it: Nice car!! Don't look like it's suffered with too much rust aswell

Thanks Owen, no it doesn't have any rust at all thanks to the dry spanish climate. I know these MK3 shells like to rot like a bean can in a salt mine, but fortunately we seldmoly get that issue here. Some small surface rust here and there, but no serious corrosion.
P.D. I edited your post to remove the pics from the quoted post, as it causes higher browsing times and makes scrolling through teh thread harder.

I've owned from new this 2003 Renaultsport Clio 172 Cup. Its just had a full service including all belts and pulleys, lower engine mount and 2 rear dampers, cost almost £1000. Its now done 71000 miles.

Beautiful car! And in french blue too Must be quick as hell, peak era of the aspirated hot-hatches and Renault at the top of their game chassis-wise.

The Sport Cup's were only available in blue. The sports were available in other colours. No aircon in the Cup and different suspension.

Awesome color combo, and a car that can easily outlive several generations of owners. Ahhh back in the time when Mercedes, BMW or Audi still did long lasting top quality cars ...

Thank you! It ain't as bad as a Mk.3-Fiesta (or Fiasco, as some call 'em), but corrosion is a serious problem with these, too. So far, the body shop went over the windscreen frame, rocker panel and right front wheel house. Interior plastic psrts are also getting brittle, now. It ain' fun if the roof liner suddenly flips into your face at 85 kph on a curving Eifel road. Engine and transmission are sound, though.

Bringing some beat-down junker representation to this thread with the only car in my motorcycle-favoring life. 10% overbore, big valves, mildly hot cam make it a bit more fun and american highway-friendly than it'd otherwise be. Everything aside from the engine definitely feeling the weight of five decades' wear, though.

Agree, that car is exuding personality all around! Is it a daily or just an occasional sunday drive?

My neighbour's son had one of those Type 3 back when I was very young. In a typical flashy '70s orange!

Agree, that car is exuding personality all around! Is it a daily or just an occasional sunday drive? This is my heavy rain/snow vehicle for the most part, though it also gets trotted out whenever I need to transport something that can't fit in a backpack.
My daily driver(/rider) these days is a '17 KTM RC390, with a '76 Triumph Bonneville as its fair weather backup. Maddeningly the net reliability, ranked best to worst, goes Triumph>KTM>VW.

Yes she certainly is, every bolt is just about clean and corrosion is just about non-existent, why alfa rust? i always show this photo when people start whining that alfa's are rust buckets haha so they are becoming rare especially in this condition, well to explain the 2nd owner, a lady, had her for a side and only drove her in the summer. just my goal is really a busso v6 but in this condition not or hardly to be found in europe they are there but rarely offered, so if you guys know anything let's hear it. But am crazy enough to put an alfaholics downpipe and a sportcat with a chip to utilize the full character of the twinspark which will be around 170hp but rather save that money for a v6 .. lol
